I feel just like the day when I first saw the recording of Vulfpeck at MSG, and the mixing on here is amazing, sounds like a studio session, so clean! Especially the lows - thrilling!!!
I feel the same way. I'm annoyed I didn't discover Theo and Vulfpeck until 2020, but incredibly grateful that I have these full concerts I can revisit over and over.
I will take my sound engineer/party breaker hat on again... what you're hearing is a solid 15 hours of mix *after* the concert was done, there is no other way to get this sort of mix. The FOH job is to mix for the room, and you're never going the raw energy necessary AND the hi-fi effect you have here at the same time, it's completely impossible. No, what we do is that we take all the track pre-faders from the board through an ethernet cable, record everything, and then mix after the fact. Just to keep things realistic, no one can sound like this on a stage : that would literally be magic, you can't remove the room reflections, the people screaming and shooting, the world moving around overall, plus feedback possibilities and so on, which greatly limits the frequencies you can boost. Also, people should be more aware of the immense amount of post-production work that goes into what they can enjoy on TH-cam.
@@jessevandendoren Appreciate the kind words y’all. The lead vocal is unaltered - no tuning, punches or dubs. We captured it with a DPA capsule on Shure Axient wireless. The show was recorded on an X32, which mixed FOH, along with the band’s IEM’s. I did the mix for the record in Pro Tools, of course. Just trying to make the show sound better than it did on the best night in the best room on the best PA. It’s an entirely different challenge to try and translate that energy to a recording!
I'll say this again: this is an absolute masterclass on songwriting, performance, dynamics, how great musicians can share a stage and still have "space" and finally, not taking our art too seriously and embracing the human aspects. Unbelievable. Thank you Theo, and congrats! To you and the band!
The first time I listened to "All's Well That End's Well" I was sobbing alone in my bedroom, so it only fits that I sob yet again alone in my bedroom at the pure beauty of it all. Absolutely stunning, all of it. I can't wait to watch it again.

I had tickets to their LA show a couple years back and unfortunately couldn’t make it to the show due to a last minute emergency. Great Recording/Video
Thanks for posting!
I swear to god, I need to see either the whole vulfpeck crew live or Theo Katzaman crew! But the two will be heaven!!!!
This is fucking incredible
Theo, the age of vibe record personally means a massive amount to me and listening to this live show brought me to tears!
Thank you and the whole team for sharing the show, really hope to see age of vibe in person someday!

Theo is 100% right! I’m registered and I’m psyched to vote for the policies I believe are best for the USA!🇺🇸🤘🎶🎶
SUPPORT THEO!! SUPPORT THEO WITH YOUR VOICE!
I was there! I didn't expect to be able to see the whole thing back, what a treat
