The Game is very fun to play, some Units are clearly better than others, but you basicly never get the same combination twice. At least after some successfull rounds.
excellent idea for a RTS with something new. With stuff like 9 bit armies, age of mythology remake, this and sins of a solar empire 2, i'm loving the revival of a mostly dead genre
I think it had different colors in a lot of places (a bit more bright, some different combinations) and different shading (a bit more shadow being cast immediately next to the unit instead of far from it), I think I would like it a lot more. It looks really fun, but the looks are, unfortunately, too off-putting for me, and I hate to say that. It looks a bit "too brown" all around.
It looks like the main hub became vulnerable as soon as there was no units around it but you were walking away at that moment. There was little laser lines suggesting this as well. I played the demo before as well, fun concept but was a little bar bones back then. I look forward to this game
I've put in over 50 hours in the early access release alone and it's a very solid experience. It's something where, if it was just this and was a full release, I'd say it's a solid enough purchase. I'm definitely hoping they add more to the game during early access because it has a lot of potential.
Thank you, hoping they will add a way to tone down the flashing to turning it off completely. Need that first before I am able to purchase/backer support.
Want RTS? Play Beyond All Reason. Open source, costs nothing, absolutely fantastic game. Strongly reminiscent of Total Annihilation, the spiritual predecessor of Supreme Commander.
As a former Nuclear Electrician, nuclear waste is very boring. It's literally just irradiated water and metal rods. No glowing, no sparky sparky, no nothing. Totally mundane.
I think it would be neat if the new units/upgrades happened in the RTS part of the game. Like, if I am an aggressive army, I have to beat enemies to collect scrap and that scrap gives me new unit schematics and upgrades. Or I could be an economic civ, and while mining I can gain upgrades to pick from. But if the RTS portion was longer and overlapped all the run progression stuff, I think that could be neat.
Ok now I'm wondering. If c&c 4 would have been released now. Would it have been called rougelike and praised? Is this the only diff? That rouglike was not invented yet back then so it was shunned? Outside of the story of course.the story was abismal, the graphics laughable but the gameplay was what you described here.
Watching this channel is like doing drugs. I wanna stop but I cant. You keep throwing me amazing games that I cant keep up.
I love how detailed your reviews are, keep up the great work!
I appreciate the time and effort you put into making these reviews, it really shows.
Your video really helped me understand the mechanics and gameplay of this game
This is the best game review I've seen in a while, well done.
This is one of the most informative reviews I've seen on this game, thank you for
Supreme Commander is by far the #1 RTS ever in my book, you got my attention fast. :)
poor zade was traumatised by industrial annihilation and now it gets a cameo in every video
This game looks amazing, I can't wait to try it out for myself.

You have a real talent for game reviews, keep it up!
It's been on my wishlist since it was announced on Steam.
Thumbs up for getting more eyes on an unknown title whether finished or not.
Great review, I really appreciate the honest and informative analysis.
Your review was so thorough, I feel like I already know how to play the game
Yes! Been waiting for this Combo for a while! (Saw this game like a year ago or so and got excited)

Your review was so good, I had to subscribe to your channel.

Looks different, but man am I over the low poly art style
But I think many people (like myself) are holding off on buying yet another EA title that may or may not be finished somewhere down the line.
Please consider cutting the price at least by a half. People are not paying so much for an early access indie game from an unknown developer.
better.
Oh course, early access. Strategy games never release anymore, they're just early access. This is driving me insane.
Yea I've put some time in it, it has a lot of potential, I curious to see how it goes. As always thanks for the shout out! -Tank
Sounds very interesting! I want more experiments with RTS genre (my beloved)
Here's a couple newer RTS's I know about if your interested.

When they actually release it and the reviews stay positive I'll throw my money at it for sure!
Your review convinced me to buy this game, thank you!
Enjoying the game alot ever when the demo even came out, and after release it has such good content, already worth my money
I've been on the fence about buying this game, but your review helped me make up
i'm afraid just from the intro, i'm addicted to supreme commander since too many years.
It looks like the main hub became vulnerable as soon as there was no units around it but you were walking away at that moment. There was little laser lines suggesting this as well. I played the demo before as well, fun concept but was a little bar bones back then. I look forward to this game
I didn't even know RTS and roguelike were compatible genres
If there was one thing I would add, it would be a Coop mode, just because its twice as fun together than.

man CnC 3 tibwar's OST is still great. I'll throw it on the wishlist and pick this game up at some point.

Homeworld 3's war games mode is another excellent "roguelike" RTS.
sharing your thoughts.
It needs more starters, also, I wish we could play with some of the enemy units
my mind.
Looks good, I don't play early access games but will give it a go once it gets a full release.
SStormGate (new Free 2 Play RTS by IceGiant studios) made by some of the same team that made StarCraft2

The concept was inevitable and I like it, but it's a huge shame about the lack of multiplayer.
game have multiplayer? can we play 1v1 online? or just campain/skirmish?

Game seems pretty neat and I would definitely give it a try, but is overpriced by a huge margin for what it provides (for now).
I cannot care because it doesn't have PvP multiplayer.
