Thanks for covering our game. We’re so excited about the positive reactions and really hope we can make this game the best it can be. We get some people are cautious about Early Access but we only released this after we felt it could already stand on its own.
It's been on my wishlist since it was announced on Steam. But I think many people (like myself) are holding off on buying yet another EA title that may or may not be finished somewhere down the line. When they actually release it and the reviews stay positive I'll throw my money at it for sure!
It already takes many hours now just to unlock and play with half of the content of different units and combos, so I'd say it's already well worth it at this state if it doesn't even release in full
The Rogue Command EA actually has a good amount of content and replayability as is, like there's already over a hundred different units and buildings you can randomly get during a run, and since you can only ever get 10 max per run, plus the upgrades and random powers you can get, each run can play out quite differently due to having a different composition of units and abilities. It's actually quite the finished game as is, and just needs more content to flesh it out. I already have 148 hours into the game, which considering its state and price point already makes it the better investment compared to some other more expensive games I've sunk money into.
@@SamGarcia I'm not talking about those (I consider those part of the hundreds of units anyway), I'm talking about unique ones like the different turrets, the Factory Charger, the Global Heal Tower, the Crystal Matrix Reader, Heavy Rocker Launcher, etc. There's still a lot of unique blueprints available to unlock in the game in its current state, and if the devs keep at it it'll just grow as more blueprints are added.
I've put in over 50 hours in the early access release alone and it's a very solid experience. It's something where, if it was just this and was a full release, I'd say it's a solid enough purchase. I'm definitely hoping they add more to the game during early access because it has a lot of potential.
No Multiplayer planned. :( If there was one thing I would add, it would be a Coop mode, just because its twice as fun together than. The Game is very fun to play, some Units are clearly better than others, but you basicly never get the same combination twice. At least after some successfull rounds. That adds to the exitement of geting one of your favorite Units again. It’s very fast to play. If you even dare to take your time and Build a Defence Linie you will be rushed and eaten alive. Its somthing I had to adjust for myself, but once you have found your pace you can go and stomp the Enemy with your First round of fresh produced Units. Some Tanks have railguns, some Need to be Placed Like artillery and others are litte Tiny robots that cant take a punch, but Upgrade them with the right abillities… and they can turn into very usefull Units when they die for example. So every Unit can be upgraded to take certan Roles. Its very fun to Experiment with the combinations you get and as you unlock more and more Units, abillities and airdrops it basicly becomes addicting and even more fun! The Devs are responding to feedback and even just runtalk on the Games Discord Server or on steam. Thats a very Big positive in my eyes. The early Accsess started around November last year and we got already 3 Updates with bugfixes new Units and Balance changes. So far so good. Give it a try, even for the Price. The devs do a really good Job. They earned my respect and my trust. Thx :)
Thank you, hoping they will add a way to tone down the flashing to turning it off completely. Need that first before I am able to purchase/backer support.
@Zade_95 I love the remakes of old songs in KW as well. I remember watching some generic tv show and it 100% used a TibWars track for a tense moment and was mentally flashbanged.
I think it had different colors in a lot of places (a bit more bright, some different combinations) and different shading (a bit more shadow being cast immediately next to the unit instead of far from it), I think I would like it a lot more. It looks really fun, but the looks are, unfortunately, too off-putting for me, and I hate to say that. It looks a bit "too brown" all around.
Ok now I'm wondering. If c&c 4 would have been released now. Would it have been called rougelike and praised? Is this the only diff? That rouglike was not invented yet back then so it was shunned? Outside of the story of course.the story was abismal, the graphics laughable but the gameplay was what you described here.
Game seems pretty neat and I would definitely give it a try, but is overpriced by a huge margin for what it provides (for now). Please consider cutting the price at least by a half. People are not paying so much for an early access indie game from an unknown developer.
The developers for Rogue Command are practically a couple of people making the game. This isn't a AAA title with big budgets and Frank Klepacki on soundtrack, it's a passion title. Considering that, the Rogue Command EA is still significantly more fleshed out and has content similar to most paid release indie games, and it certainly has more to offer than the Industrial Annihilation EA which should never have released in that state.

My pleasure! Can't wait to see how it develops
Thumbs up for getting more eyes on an unknown title whether finished or not.

@@StrikeNoir105E to be fair, most of the buildings are just a different factory for a different unit

Yea I've put some time in it, it has a lot of potential, I curious to see how it goes. As always thanks for the shout out! -Tank

poor zade was traumatised by industrial annihilation and now it gets a cameo in every video
Looks good, I don't play early access games but will give it a go once it gets a full release.
Understandable! Keep an eye on it 👀

Do you mean the damage flashes on the building? Those can be disabled in the options.
Enjoying the game alot ever when the demo even came out, and after release it has such good content, already worth my money
man CnC 3 tibwar's OST is still great. I'll throw it on the wishlist and pick this game up at some point.
Ikr. Thought it fit pretty well!

If you like Nuclear Throne you might like Enter the Gungeon.
Oh, I love gungeon! Not as much as nuclear throne... But it's up there
this looks fun i will try this
It needs more starters, also, I wish we could play with some of the enemy units
Yeah true! The blob dudes are CRAZY
Looks different, but man am I over the low poly art style
PC specs ?
The concept was inevitable and I like it, but it's a huge shame about the lack of multiplayer.
Co op is a maybe, I can’t imagine a rogue like with PVP, that sounds awful

game have multiplayer? can we play 1v1 online? or just campain/skirmish?
pff gtfo with this trash
Oh course, early access. Strategy games never release anymore, they're just early access. This is driving me insane.
Yeah, how dare solo/small devs that have limited funds try to release their games in a way that they can actually continue development, how dare they.
@@DrakonPhD Yeah yeah, keep buying hope and dreams instead of games.

I cannot care because it doesn't have PvP multiplayer.
very ugly
