Oh, I was there at the very first consert in Ylvis "The ecpensive jacket tour" in Oslo 2014. The stage got empty and suddenly an unknown guy started singing about the envy...everybody wondering who this person was. When he sang ...my two elder brothers....you should hear the crowd. This song was not out yet on any platforms...what a surprise!!! So yes he is singing he would never stand on a stage...but he performed it infront of..I guess 5-7000 people that night. Remember, it is his brothers making this song for him...it is both mocking him and they make him show his really great talent at the same time
Bjarte did this song with them post fox in 2014 and then joined them again for the musical series ylvis i sogn in 2022 and since then when they perform with those songs he joins them. The reason he doesn't rly have his own career is cus hes 10 years younger than vegard and 7 years younger than bård so when they were scouted he was still a kid and they didn't feel comfortable bringing him in. Even when this song was released he was only 23 years old so still pretty young. He has a pilot education (as well as vegard) but he doesn't work as one currently to my knowledge. The entire family is very talented tho
Words and names ending in -e in Norwegian should be pronounced as -eh in English. Bjarte will then become Bjarteh. The same applies to one of the members of a-ha, Magne - Magneh - but here you as an English speaker have to put in an extra 'n' to get it: Mang-neh.

What a talented family! Ylvis and Bjarte are amazing. Every time I get a smile on my face when you react to them.
They're awesome, I'm enjoying discovering more about Ylvis
Vegard and Bård you mean...?
@@heidifarstadkvalheim4952 Sorry the group is called Ylvis, so I went with that.
"I'll never stand alone on stage"
The irony here is that he went on to do a concert in Norway's biggest concert hall.
Wow, his own show?
@@NordicReactions I think it was an Ylvis concert in general, but he did this song and one other.
The third brother, I believe he is a helicopter pilot. :)
While he does have a license to fly helicopters, he's actually working for a fitness company.
@@Henoik Ah, that I did not know. :)

Well, his name "Bjarte" is from old Norse and means bright/shining/glowing. So he was always a star if you think about it. 😜

Bård is pronounced the same way as "board" is pronounced in English.
Well, almost anyways. Not exactly, but close enough.
Yes, he said å the right way in Ylvisåker.
…or «bored». Funny when he introduce himself in English «I am bored». He did a thing out of that when they were guests on The Ellen show.
