      @@anuragparkash3040 look at, "airways clearance technique" on TH-cam if you have mucous and for anxiety there are various techniques also on youtube but you can just do deep breathing like in through the nose and out through the mouth for 2 minutes whenever you feel in need. Please look on TH-cam for advanced techniques. Hope you find one suitable for your needs. Work on eliminating fear and stress and anxiety will melt away.

    all of the people who is searching for a solution of shortness of breath while lying down or just before going to sleep....i also faced it n fixed it by myself.
    1) exercise n drink plenty of water
    2) if it's only happening while lying down but not while excercise than take acid reflux syrup for one week.
    3) take long breath with stomach while trying to sleep.
    if u have chest pain n other symptoms while exertion than please consult a doctor...don't worry, it's might be acid reflux or anxiety.
    God Bless You

    After lot of research I found the answer. I am going through this exact situation. I lost 10 kgs in 2 months, my stomach is bloated, have chronic constipation with low appetite. I have developed anxiety & fear although I can't specify why I am anxious. I can't breathe fully because of muscle wasting & tight abdomen.
    After multiple doctors & tests all they said was that I was stressed needlessly.
    The real answer came from my study of ayurveda (indian holistic medical science). My vata has got excessive which triggered catabolic process. This happens when the person is naturally low in kapha {mefium build tupes). Now I am working on reducing vata with sesame oil massage & other lifestyle changes to pacify the excess imbalance. Also taking foods to increase kapha & doing prana mudra & alt nostril breathing to manage stress. It's a long journey back to my old self. May God bless all those who are suffering with this bewildering condition. Hare Krishna.

    Also experiencing this symptom for some time now. I am convinced its trapped trauma stuck in my body that gets triggered by any type of stress and especially by the association that events have been associated with subconsciously.
    You need to create safety in your body again.
    You must readdress the trauma and process it. Not mentally. But physically. The issue is in the tissue as Mastin Kipp says.
    In the meanwhile, address the anxiety and keep it at bay. Calming teas, nootropics, l theanine, get your gut microbiome in balance. All the pesticides on the food theee days is causing havoc on our gut health.
    The wim hof method is really good for getting the neuroplasticity conditioned again and not so stuck.
    Definitely take Ashwagandha to keep the Cortisol down and do calming exercises that won't stress your body.

    I hope someone sees this and it helps them...please research thiamine (vitamin B1) deficiency, or subclinical beri-beri. Shortness of breath/air hunger is a tell-tale sign, and there are many, many other possible and varied symptoms (many also being typical adrenal fatigue symptoms), as thiamine is all to do with the function of the central nervous system, and also the formation of ATP (mitochondrial energy) in the cells. I've recently started on several B vitamins, including extra thiamine, and am feeling so much better. I think this could be a HUGE part of the puzzle for many people with adrenal fatigue.

    • @drlam
      @drlam  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thiamine deficiency can indeed contribute to various symptoms, including shortness of breath. Thiamine plays a crucial role in the central nervous system and energy production within cells.
      Supplementing with B vitamins, including extra thiamine, has helped you feel better, which is great. It's important to note that addressing nutritional deficiencies can be beneficial for overall health. However, it's recommended to consult with a healthcare professional to determine the underlying cause of your symptoms and receive appropriate guidance and treatment. Each individual's situation is unique, and what works for one person may not work for another.

Doctor checked my heart with stethoscope and said I was fine and I got chest x ray done and was told it came back fine too. The first panic attack I had at 11 years old had this symptom of air hunger. I am now 32 and still have it as a more daily symptom that I can live with but is not nice at all. Can gastritis cause shortness of breath

    • @drlam
      @drlam  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      If the acid comes up and refluxes into your trachea, then possibly. But that's not a usual symptom. You should go see your doctor about the shortness of breath to rule out all possibilities.

      Medicine is not the only thing you need, usually you need a comprehensive approach to get to the root cause of why it's happening.
