They absolutely know we are stupid. This stuff continues to sell regardless of the price hike. People are literally out here using the turm card investing. This was a hobby for people now everything's their going to make a living off of cards when the only value they have is what someone is actually willing to give you for it, it has no value.
It sucks because the entire fun of it was ripping packs and boxes, now it's unaffordable for most; and it's nonsensical for those who can actually afford it, because who wants to spend their hard earned money on products that give zero return???
Topps is looking at resell prices from the year before and making that their price or just a little under that, they're trying to squeeze every last dollar they can

I haven't purchased anything for 6 months maybe longer. It's becoming pointless with too many inserts, vets, print runs, prices, scammers, and so on. Sigh

Logofractor another bad ideal, try using team logos instead of the MLB logo. Logofractor like Sapphire should be eliminated, nothing more than base photo cards a complete rip off. Holiday rush is coming look out for the price surge.

I’m tending/feeling like not buying any more chrome products at all. Might stick to flagship (series 1, 2, update), “plain Jane”, and possibly some regular Bowman (for the 1st) or eBay for singles.

I agree with you. Every time I buy the higher end stuff I get stuck! I like to buy NY the case and I'm lucky to get 30% of my investment back, not counting the high cost of eBay fees.

I live in NY and card releases are a shit show, if your not on line, don't waste your time.
Fanatics said they would 10x the hobby , it's the corporate motto these days, crush the middle class and reap the benefits. Rather then cards you may want to consider buying stock in the company
