thats very true what you said and exactly what i was thinking, specially cuz i think van der Poel will try to win the stage himself tomorrow, so then he could have had a nice effort pulling the guys in front back. but i think the problem is that Matthieu only started leading out the sprint for Philipsen this season really, so he isnt experienced at all.

I think you’re describing the perfect storm for a 3 man break to succeed. Asgren couldn’t have known MMVC would be the reason for the opportunity to win. Because MMVC took some incredible pulls right there in the last K.
Thanks. That’s the reason we started the channel. Every body on TH-cam and most live coverage are doing a “Recap coverage” of the race because they want to post 5min after the race ha finished or are worried the fans won’t understand what you saying if you go into detail of any tactics being used. I can make a “recap video” by looking at the finishing times on the race results and won’t even have to watch much of the racing to do it. Because there is no way you can find all the details of what’s really happened during a race when you post five mins after it finished. It takes me two hours minimum just to go back after the race has finished and find all the details that explain the why and how things affected the race later on at the finish. Then I enjoy giving a story or two with it and throwing in a bit of coaching. I’m glad you have been enjoy them. 👊🦋🙏

Don't rule out Krists Neilandts for the Most Combative award... even if you're all screaming MY MAN VICTOR CAMPENAERTS! :D
You guys should have seen the danish and norvegian commenators in the box... lol!
Michael Mørkøv in the postrace interview said, that at 50 K to go, all the sprinterteams started blowing up so he knew then that the breakaway stood a decent chance. This is what the third week does!
Not to take anything away from Victor, but Asgreen actually did most of the pulling throughout the day, percentage-wise. He thanked all 3 breakaway-riders too. Class rider!
Laughed with you at the Soudal-Quickstep shenanigans at at the Bunch-Badgering! :P Awesome analysis as ever, Chris! 🤜to you son, too, awesome editing and end-screen/outro, still laughing! 😂
On Danish TV, Asgreen said the breakaway riders didn't exchange a word. Makes their combined TTT the more impressive. No words needed.
In an interview with campenaerts only words said between Campenaerts and eenkhoorn. Niet snokken ( Don't accellerate pulling ) and Pascal, you will do the sprint ( at 10k out ).
Chris, please do a video with some stories of you and Victor so we can get a better understanding of where your enthusiasm comes from when it involves him.
Wow, a lot going on in this stage! Thank you for the excellent and in depth explanations!!
thats very true what you said and exactly what i was thinking, specially cuz i think van der Poel will try to win the stage himself tomorrow, so then he could have had a nice effort pulling the guys in front back. but i think the problem is that Matthieu only started leading out the sprint for Philipsen this season really, so he isnt experienced at all.
Watched a Phil Giman recap and he said something to the effect of Vic C equals 7 guys in the break lol
Campenaerts just practicing for another Hour World Record try. (and get invites to a couple criteriums).
During the TT was training power at slow RPM’s on. The climb and today he was training power at fast RPM’s for 185k. I love this dude. Non stop entertainment. 😂👊🦋❤️
@@ChrisHornerCycling There are a few riders I just don't get; Campenaerts is one of them.
liked and subscribed! I hope Allaphilipe is safe and sound, hahahaha.
Your simply the best
I think you’re describing the perfect storm for a 3 man break to succeed. Asgren couldn’t have known MMVC would be the reason for the opportunity to win. Because MMVC took some incredible pulls right there in the last K.
Why is this the only place I can find out what really happened? Thanks Chris.
Chris is good at describing racing and gets into strategy and mixes a nice dose of humor.
Thank you Chris
