Big Bend NP is huge! The National Park is divided into several regions with their own visitors centers:
1. 2:30 Chisos Basin Visitors Center
2. 9:32 Castolon Visitors Center (a good base for the 10:13 Santa Elena Canyon Trail)
3. 16:20 Rio Grande Village Visitors Center (for the 17:34 Boquillas Canyon Overlook)

Big Bend is beautiful and definitely leaves an everlasting impression. I remember visiting Big Bend when I was 11 and I still remember it like yesterday and that was 40 years ago. Great video as usual guys.

Just wanted you to know Big Bend is considered West Texas. South Texas is another 6 to 8 hours of driving away still. Have fun on your trip. I take a 29 foot skoolie (I live in) up to the basin with no problem. I just can not take it down some of the gravel roads that have steep washes. The back of the bus will drag. Hope you guys are having fun. Big Bend is one of my favorite places so i try to get there 1 or 2 timea a year.

Glad I found your channel (was searching for videos to plan for our Colorado trip next month). I live in East Texas and am pretty much addicted to Big Bend. We go there almost every year (12-hr drive). Yeah, the weather is crazy and was really bad in February. Not a usual weather, but we had -6 degrees (Low) then in 7 days it was 70 degrees (Hi). Big Ben is currently having a wild fire in Chisos Mountains started from south rim. It is sad, but it happened close to the Cotton Wood area 2 years ago, too.
