Can I tell you what I'm loving above their music...their personalities - there is absolutely nothing bland, boring...beige about these guys and I love it! They've got me feeling all sorts of passionate.

Gd is quite shy. He can be flirty but if taken by surprise he will suddenly transform to a cute shy adorable someone thats its kinda shocking😂
Taeyang is a very mild mannered person. He is both the mama bear and the grandpa. But he has a weird sense of humor. Really.
T.O.P is the sensitive and weird older brother you need to protect😆 he is weird and is very unapologetic about it. Very.
Daesung is the smiley one. Smiley but is very sassy kinda sarcastic one😆
Seungri plays the cute aggrieved youngest brother who has to deal with 4 older brothers whose moods goes from bullying him to babying him to acting mature and scolding him 🤣 so sometimes he goes from cute to annoyed to sulking
Sorry this is very long😅 but they are quite funny and weird. But they know what they want and will not cater to even their fans. They once said that they trust their fans to respect them and their decisions but if they dont like what they do they are free to leave. They will not beg or change for you. So yeah. You can go.
Gd basically said you can love other idols. Listen to their songs instead of his album if its more to your taste. But he is sure you wont😏 his is the best😂

OMG so well said, yes I saw that interview that was back in the old days where they're still fairly new but popular and they were saying if the fan were to leave them, then pls do, sooo COOL, n GD in his solo world tour at the young age of 25 said in his concert jokingly that fans can go ahead to listen to other idols songs he's fine but when his song is out they won't. And GD is just super creative, talented n extremely versatile (look, talents even his character - so Swag yet so Shy lol 😆), my Beloved Bias, The One n Only King GD 😘❤👑 🌸🙏

Yes I would say Big Bang is the rebellious group in kpop, they never wanted to be known to be squeaky clean and perfect. They were proud of the fact that they are not manufactured.... not concerned with being dance machines, but more about conveying the msg of the song to their fans.
Same with iKON, they just want to represent the energy of youth. iKON's lyrics are excellent because B.I is an old soul and writes beautifully.
You said it all, I think that's why YKON are my 2nd YG group that I love, because I loved BB (My 1st) precisely because of being different, fighting for the freedom to express yourself, without being afraid to show your which is for real. Not pretending to please the fans, appearing to be perfect, cute, a prince we'll never meet, because he doesn't exist. They show that they are human, that they make mistakes like us, but that we learn, evolve and overcome ourselves every day. I love BB, IKON and YG ARTISTS so much. I'm a new VIP (1 year), and i'm not kpop, i'm just now yg.
Big Bang are the originals , everyone else imitates them..... they have influenced so many 3rd gen and 4th gen artists

I don’t think that the exact translation of Fxxk It which is “Era morugetda” is a swear word. But GDragon has songs entitled “BULLSHIT” and “THAT XX” 😅😅😅
G-Dragon is suuupeer shy in real life. The complete opposite of his on stage persona. Bigbang off stage are dorks. They are also savage to each other and to VIPs (fandom name).

Regarding Bigbang choreo, although some of them are excellent dancers Bigbang usually have choreos that are easy to imitate hence their choreos are so memorable. Honestly though, fans and other idols know Bigbang choreo better than Bigbang themselves. You can react to Bigbang random play dance, it's amazing.
Regarding Bobby and G-Dragon similarities, it is probably because GD mentored iKon in their survival show, it's called WIN: Who's next and it's on YG. But there are 100s of idols who are inspired by GD right from 2nd gen to 4th gen
VIPs can totally get what you mean when you said about that liberated feeling. I personally heard from so many VIPs how Bigbang especially GD changed their minds. The more you know about him personally the more you will admire him. He's someone who got a petition to gets his limbs cut off by SK people because he was accused of plagiarism. Everyone always react extremely when it comes to him, so the fact that he still is himself is so inspiring for me personally.

That's BIGBANG actually. Freedom. If one knows KPOP's history, you'll understand why BIGBANG symbolizes empowerment and freedom. Too bad, people wanted and tried to cut off their wings. That's why they suffer tremendously if they ever make mistakes.

they all have their own solo albums except for top since he focuses more to his acting career but he himself also have few solo songs. all of their solo songs are totally worth to listen to. for powerhouse vocal, you should check on daesung’s live performance (solo concert).
side note: gdragon and taeyang mentor ikon and winner back then before they debut. hence the reason why you might find some similarities

What helped me most learning the BIGBANG members' names was watching an interview. I really liked the "Happy Together - Big Bang Sepcial" [sic]. If that's too long though, their appearance on Yu Huiyeol's Sketchbook in 2015 has a nice, short interview which might be helpful putting names to faces.
For music, LOSER is the song that made me a BIGBANG fan. Usually, I agree with the idea that BIGBANG is even better live than in their MVs, but LOSER is a can't miss video. Other songs: CAFÉ (no MV), TELL ME GOODBYE, IF YOU (no MV)... WE LIKE 2 PARTY and LET'S NOT FALL IN LOVE have fun MVs... There's so much to explore! Thanks for your great BIGBANG reactions.

All of them are very successful soloist too. All 4 of them have solo album & concert, except TOP. But TOP & GD have an album together. You should check out their solo stuff too. TOP voice is very special. Btw he is an amazing actor too & soon he will comeback with his solo album. All the member is as strong as the group. They are the most real kpop group out there and its also the reason why so many people out to bring them down. They have gone thru so much things but one thing for sure no one can resist their musicality. VIPs stays loyal because we love them for their music & who they. There is a lot more to the 'scandal' than the trashy media made it out to be.

I love when you said they are infectious! A perfect description of BB effect :) I discovers them just 6 month ago (bébé VIP) and I feel like I have fewer since that day! I never be into a musicien, music band, actor... even when I was teenager. I love listen some of KPop song but just like this. BB it's different, I'm deeply on it, it's obsessive ahahahaha. And now, it's been a half of a year I listen their music EVERY days and I'm still enjoying that so much. It's insane ! They dont realy say Fxxk . Is more like that Gone with the wind line " darling I dont give a damn" 😁 . There a mix of Love song stages from their performances during Japan Dome tour 2014-2015. They had a lot of fun and they play around 😅. A song that tells a lot about BigBang is Still Alive , it has no MV but you can find fan made lyrics on TH-cam. It tells a lot about how hard this idol life has been for them .

G Dragon my first love in BB. I will be honest while I listen to A LOT of KPop there is really only 3 groups I follow Suju, BB and EXO. I am not sure why that is I am trying to be more open minded but I guess I just always felt that between BB and Suju I had everything I could want.
