FYI - Their leader, G-Dragon, is the creator of the first K-Pop themed Light Stick. Fans used to go to concerts with glow sticks, each band had their own color. Eventually it changed to battery powered light sticks. G-Dragon designed a custom Light Stick that had a light-up yellow crown on top (they're known as "The Kings of K-Pop") Since then every big K-Pop group has their own uniquely shaped Light Stick!
Thats so cool! as if G-Dragon wasn't already cool enough, of COURSE he had to come up with such a cool idea! I just watched a live performance and those light sticks add so much energy to an already crazy energy filled performance!
Norman Faris I am VIP since 2009 I love all of them especially Daesung 🥰 I felt like you that army is so annoying but I accept that bts is not bad, they did a great job too (even if I like only 3 out of their songs😅, not like Bigbang , I love every single song of them) I accepted that bts has more fandom, the biggest fandom, the biggest awards bla bla bla that we keep seeing in bp comments🤣 but I think the most annoying part is why army could not just appreciate their artist and leave other kpop groups alone, especially Bigbang, why they always say something bad to Bigbang and other group. Thanks for reacting to Bigbang.. A little info about Bigbang. They are from YG ent aka Swag Company, same company as Blackpink.. So they're like Blackpinks older brother. They known as the King of Kpop and the OG ones.. They're just finish their military service last year and supposed to make a comeback at Coachella this year before this pandemic happen.. You should also check out their live performances because i think its better than their MVs..

You started well. BIGBANG is the King of kpop. The members each have successful solo careers as well. They are literally an inspiration to many newer groups. They've been in the industry for more than 14 years. They're different than other kpop groups and their live performances are INSANE. Everyone looks up to them.

I love the fact that u instantly fell in love with bigbang. Just like u, my first kpop group was blackpink and bcuz of them i learned about bigbang. Bigbang are awesome unlike other groups. I love blackpink but I'm obsessed with bigbang. React to all their live performances bcuz they are the most talented, charismatic artists i have ever seen. You should react to their live performances. They're better on stage. They're the OG in kpop and people recognize them as THE KING OF KPOP. Welcome to the world of Big Bang and get ready to be amazed. Since you start with Black Pink, your standard would be high but after BB, your standard will be even higher because BB is different. They are so versatile and each song is so nicely produced. Their lives are fantastic, check them out e.g.all the MAMA performances. They have so many songs I don't know which ones to recommend. I like slow songs like 'If you' 'Last dance' and some Japanese songs like 'tell me goodbye' 'Koeokikasete'.

I see BIGBANG, I subscribe. 👍 Lots of comments about Kpop groups have thrown the words Kings and Legends lately, but BIGBANG has always been known as the KINGs and Legends for a long time. And it's not because of their popularity but because BIGBANG's contribution to Kpop is very significant. G-Dragon especially is "the idol" that reshaped the Kpop music scene and made idols become royalties. He is the celebrity of celebrities, the idol of idols, and is loved and respected in and outside of Korea.

A lot of new Kpop fans only know the 3rd gen idols and are basically shitting on 2nd gen. They don't know what it was like for Kpop idols and their fans back then. They don't want to acknowledge the hard work they did so their idols can be easily heard overseas. Btw, Bigbang didn't promote in the States, so their popularity aren't as big as SM artists. Yet they kept getting more recognition because of their music. It was around 2012 that Bigbang took it to another level. Their 2nd comeback really put K-Pop everywhere. And then Psy signed to Bigbang's company, YG. Gangnam Style was born and made the world do the horse dance. 😂💥

That is a very very good start :) I will go watch your reactions and leave a recommendation on your latest video :) more to figure out what your taste is like, there are so much content and so varied in Kpop, especially if you don't mind checking out the older generations (Kpop is set in generations, 1st gen was all about gaining popularity in Korea and setting up for the rest of Asia (1992-2002 ish) 2nd gen was all about cementing popularity in Asia and setting up for the west (2003ish to 2013 ish) 3rd gen is all about cementing popularity in the west (2013 ish to now), this is the calculation of generations based on strategy, there is another one where we are in 4th gen now, but I dont really follow that narrative :p ) anyways looking forward to your videos

He writes, produces, and vocal arranges Bigbang songs, his solo songs, and has even written and produced some of his bandmates solos, as well as other kpop idols. Bigbang is called the kings of kpop, but gdragon is literally called “THE king of kpop”. He has been compared to Michael Jackson by huge American/ Korean media and is the youngest person to be listed on “greatest korean composers” at the age of 20. He’s called the fashion leader of Korea, and a trendsetter. I don’t know if you have the blackpink light sticks, but G-Dragon came up with the concept of lightsticks and designed the very first one (crown lightsticks for the fans- fanbase is called VIPs) and now lightsticks are a trend now and every group has them. He has heaps of fanboys, he’s a big deal lol. Taeyang (dreads) is known for having one of the best voices in Korea. He’s an incredible dancer and has been compared to usher. Britley Cole just to add on to what she said: Deasung plays the drums, taeyang and Gd plays piano. Gd is also the youngest person to ever debut as rapper at age 13. Top can beatbox. Seungri learned multiple languages to connect with international fans more. He also said he learned it because he felt like he was less talented than the others in BB and needed to find a way to stand out. Bigbang and 2NE1 are great in live performances. They were in the same agency but 2NE1 now is disbanded. They are one of kpop's trendsetters and legends so you have to check them (i mean 2NE1, too) out if you want to dive into kpop.

They broke the cutesy girl group concept and made their own style that's why they are also called/considered one of KPop's blueprint. They debuted in 2009 with the song FIRE which is iconic and months later, they won SONG OF THE YEAR with their song I DON'T CARE. They were called the monster rookies. They have the most versatile discography out there. They were active from 2009-2014. Went on hiatus in 2015 and eventually officially disbanded in 2017 :( But you can still enjoy the music and maybe you might have heard a song or two. We Blackjacks (fandom name) are still hoping for a reunion. Please do check them out. FYI - Their leader, G-Dragon, is the creator of the first K-Pop themed Light Stick. Fans used to go to concerts with glow sticks, each band had their own color. Eventually it changed to battery powered light sticks. G-Dragon designed a custom Light Stick that had a light-up yellow crown on top (they're known as "The Kings of K-Pop") Since then every big K-Pop group has their own uniquely shaped Light Stick!

Norman Faris I am VIP since 2009 I love all of them especially Daesung 🥰 I felt like you that army is so annoying but I accept that bts is not bad, they did a great job too (even if I like only 3 out of their songs😅, not like Bigbang , I love every single song of them) I accepted that bts has more fandom, the biggest fandom, the biggest awards bla bla bla that we keep seeing in bp comments🤣 but I think the most annoying part is why army could not just appreciate their artist and leave other kpop groups alone, especially Bigbang, why they always say something bad to Bigbang and other group. Thanks for reacting to Bigbang.. A little info about Bigbang. They are from YG ent aka Swag Company, same company as Blackpink.. So they're like Blackpinks older brother. They known as the King of Kpop and the OG ones.. They're just finish their military service last year and supposed to make a comeback at Coachella this year before this pandemic happen.. You should also check out their live performances because i think its better than their MVs..

They've been in the industry for more than 14 years. They're different than other kpop groups and their live performances are INSANE. Everyone looks up to them.

They are so versatile and each song is so nicely produced. Their lives are fantastic, check them out e.g.all the MAMA performances. They have so many songs I don't know which ones to recommend. Lots of comments about Kpop groups have thrown the words Kings and Legends lately, but BIGBANG has always been known as the KINGs and Legends for a long time. And it's not because of their popularity but because BIGBANG's contribution to Kpop is very significant. G-Dragon especially is "the idol" that reshaped the Kpop music scene and made idols become royalties. He is the celebrity of celebrities, the idol of idols, and is loved and respected in and outside of Korea.
I just love how much BIGBANG has done for music, fashion, and the industry from what I've read and been told so far. I haven't ventured much more into the world of kpop other than bigbang and blackpink because I'm so new to it. but BIGBANG ARE ABSOLUTELY MY KINGS! ♥️ Thank you for subscribing! so happy to have you here friend!

A lot of new Kpop fans only know the 3rd gen idols and are basically shitting on 2nd gen. They don't know what it was like for Kpop idols and their fans back then. They don't want to acknowledge the hard work they did so their idols can be easily heard overseas.
Btw, Bigbang didn't promote in the States, so their popularity aren't as big as SM artists. Yet they kept getting more recognition because of their music. It was around 2012 that Bigbang took it to another level. Their 2nd comeback really put K-Pop everywhere. And then Psy signed to Bigbang's company, YG. Gangnam Style was born and made the world do the horse dance. 😂💥

That is a very very good start :) I will go watch your reactions and leave a recommendation on your latest video :) more to figure out what your taste is like, there are so much content and so varied in Kpop, especially if you don't mind checking out the older generations (Kpop is set in generations, 1st gen was all about gaining popularity in Korea and setting up for the rest of Asia (1992-2002 ish) 2nd gen was all about cementing popularity in Asia and setting up for the west (2003ish to 2013 ish) 3rd gen is all about cementing popularity in the west (2013 ish to now), this is the calculation of generations based on strategy, there is another one where we are in 4th gen now, but I dont really follow that narrative :p ) anyways looking forward to your videos

Let me explain who each on was in the last video:
Gdragon (green hair) is the leader. He writes, produces, and vocal arranges Bigbang songs, his solo songs, and has even written and produced some of his bandmates solos, as well as other kpop idols. Bigbang is called the kings of kpop, but gdragon is literally called “THE king of kpop”. He has been compared to Michael Jackson by huge American/ Korean media and is the youngest person to be listed on “greatest korean composers” at the age of 20. He’s called the fashion leader of Korea, and a trendsetter.
I don’t know if you have the blackpink light sticks, but G-Dragon came up with the concept of lightsticks and designed the very first one (crown lightsticks for the fans- fanbase is called VIPs) and now lightsticks are a trend now and every group has them. He has heaps of fanboys, he’s a big deal lol.
Taeyang (dreads) is known for having one of the best voices in Korea. He’s an incredible dancer and has been compared to usher.
TOP (pink hair) is the first underground rapper turned idol. He writes his own raps in Bigbang. He’s the oldest in Bigbang, but is very emotional.
Daesung (blue hair) is known for having one of the most strongest voices in kpop. He’s actually very popular in Japan and made a whole jpop album.
Seungri (black hair) has an angelic voice. He’s known as “happy pill” of Bigbang. He’s very funny and outgoing and loves interacting with the fans. He actually owns a dance academy where many big idols attended (like bts jhope). He’s also the maknae (youngest) of the group.

He also said he learned it because he felt like he was less talented than the others in BB and needed to find a way to stand out. Bigbang and 2NE1 are great in live performances. They were in the same agency but 2NE1 now is disbanded. They are one of kpop's trendsetters and legends so you have to check them (i mean 2NE1, too) out if you want to dive into kpop.
Oh I keep hearing I need to check out 2NE1 am totally planning to, but I had no idea they were now disbanded. still excited to check them out tho!!
@@britleycole3325 uhm, there's a bit of controversy and it was all messy back then. But they say that in Kpop, there is this era called the 2NE1 era. They broke the cutesy girl group concept and made their own style that's why they are also called/considered one of KPop's blueprint. They debuted in 2009 with the song FIRE which is iconic and months later, they won SONG OF THE YEAR with their song I DON'T CARE. They were called the monster rookies. They have the most versatile discography out there. They were active from 2009-2014. Went on hiatus in 2015 and eventually officially disbanded in 2017 :(
But you can still enjoy the music and maybe you might have heard a song or two. We Blackjacks (fandom name) are still hoping for a reunion. Please do check them out.
