@@rgbminiatures think you might be responsible for an upturn in sales of incubi darkness haha - I’ve got a pot on my desk now and giving it a test run ( albeit with a ushabti bone base as it was the only off white / cream I had to hand! )
Dude, this looks so good, and fits so nicely with the rest of the army while having that nice contrast of damage vs the pristine counterparts. Makes me want to do a kill team in this weathered type look
Its a really great model, i think it ties in really well with the army, but maybe too well. The Tyranid bits are so similar in hue and value to the armour they're completely lost. I think I would make the carapce a Rusty brown, or even a worn pink, to make it stand out like some Tyranid bit. The execution and painting is fantastic
Nice job Ross, he is different enough to stand out but still fits in really well. I would be tempted to use a dark and unsaturated colour on the black Tyranid bits, even if just as the highlight, to separate it from the rest of the scheme - but either great work. And quicker! :D
hands down, ProAcryl's Bold Titanium White is the best white on the market. Another alternative that works well is Matt White from TheArmyPainter's Air Color Line.
Why don't you drill your barrels? Your paintjobs are great and look like they take many many hours, so missing a couple of seconds of drilling seems odd.
This looks so good! Fits in so well with the rest of the army as a lone operative. Your painting is awesome and inspirational - love it
Thank you so much! I was a bit worried he’d stand out too much but it worked quite well in the end. Thanks for the support, really appreciated

This is what the hobby is supposed to look like! Very well done!
Thank you! Glad you like it!

Thanks very much! Go for it, there’s always room for a kill team!
man, the background music is so damn soothing and relaxing... :D anyways, great video, love the look of your boys :D
Thanks very much! Yeah I quite like that music, I think I’ll be using it more in other videos.
Smashed it! He'll look so good stood with the pristine chapter, love the weathered look either way but the tyranid bits round it out really well imo
Thanks very much! Yeah happy with how this one came out
Skilled! Great piece of work!
Thank you very much!
Really like this colour scheme. I’d love to see some conversion ideas.
Yes it’s something I’ll do once I’ve painted all the backlog. Thanks for watching!

Yeah I chose those colours for the tyranid bits so they match up with my own tyranid army
@@rgbminiatures Ah fair enough! Then there is a good lore reason. Ignore my comment then :D
No it’s a valid point you made! It would look better with something a bit brighter for the tyranid bits
This guy is awesome. He really fits the lore you talked about previously. That lone operator style. I look forward to what you paint next.
Thanks very much! Yeah I’m really happy with this one, fits the lore nicely. I may do a few others like this too
Very clean and crisp models. Love the effects on the armour.
Glad you like them!
Man this looks so good!
Thank you!

Yeah I know what you mean but I went with that colour for the tyranids so it matches my own ones
@@rgbminiatures Ah, ok - that makes a lot more sense then. Keeps it in theme
Very cool, my man 👍🏻
Thank you! Cheers!
This scheme looks beautiful, think I’ll incorporate it for my upcoming Crimson fists Killteam
Go for it!

Yes bold titanium white is excellent! Best I’ve tried so far
This looks really good 👍👍
Thank you!
Awesome paint job/scheme. Was wondering since you made the chapter. Is there some backstory / lore for why your 1st company is painted mostly white?
There is some in the video previous to this one. It needs fleshing out a little though.
🔥🎸🔥
Thanks!
5:20 What Kind of Color is that? Lothern Blue? Bararoth Blue?
That was still sotek green
@@rgbminiatures yum yum! Gonna use that! Thanks!

I do sometimes, most of the time I don’t bother though
@@rgbminiaturestotally get it I’m the same, your painting deserves for all barrels to be drilled though
It really doesn’t bother me to be honest
Just as I get the model off of ebay....
👍
Very cool, my man 👍🏻
Thanks! 👍
