Darlaston used to have Regal cinema on the road towards Bilston, a football club and a great swimming pool. Sadly all gone along with most of the population.
I used to work in Darlaston 1990 at Meirlodge snooker, always used to have a walk into the town on my dinner sometimes grabbing a bag of chips from middletons, thats when it was a lovely town with good shops, now its just a dump.
I married a Darlo girl and still married to this day. We got married 24 year's ago and I've seen the town die slowly over them year's. Walsall, Willenhall and nearby Town's are the same. The banking crisis was the start of the decline.
@@andysvlogsandfoodreviews6947 Brian was the owner of *silver screen* And I was lucky enough to have photographed the female staff members of silver screen (35 mm negative) . The photos and negatives are Still at my mammys House.... But Mammy's House is 150 Miles away from where I Am now located. Ah well. :)
Where the library is, used to be my favourite toy shop- Middleton's Toy Shop. They may or may not be related to the Middletons chip shops, i dont know.
Where there was _loyds bank_ was the toy shop called *zodiac Toys* . Around 2909 On _flickr_ the *zodiac Toys* manager had a photo Page And I contacted the manager and complimented his photo of the zodiac toy shop And his staff. Stay Happy:)
