I've already liked similar comments but you deserve to hear it again; thank you for a well put together video! The fact that you took the time to make sure the subtitles were meaningful and accurate was great too. I'm a subscriber from this point on.
thanks for the great tutorial. i've always been having trouble with paint mixing, either too diluted or over concentrated, it's only lucky if i get it right. appreciate the straight forward guide.
Terima kasih utk tutorial ni! Sy baru2 saja nak belajar cara buat cat custom untuk gunpla & transformers, video ni sangat membantu, lagi2 dlm bahasa melayu, tak tersangka bila klik
Im really grateful that you made this video, I just starting to build and custom gunpla and this video of yours is really helpful. keep on the good work!
Excellent video! I love how you transfer the label very clever. How do you find the paints last when sitting in the bottle for awhile. Does the nozzle get clogged over time?
Hello. I started learning to use the airbrush about a month ago and one of the first things I do was transfer some paints into those bottles to thin. A month later and the nozzles still work, so don't worry. Even if they clog up, I suppose you could always take them off for a bit and wash them. Good luck 🙏
great video, but what do you use to clean the airbrush when using 1000 or 1500 surfacers, which thinner or cleaner is more suitable?, can you make a video for this technique too? thx for sharing.
Fantastic video !!!!!!!! My friend how long can we store this mix without having troubles concerning its consistency properties etc ? Can we do the same with mr color/aqueous color line ?
Thank you for the tutorial, but I'm still waiting for how to thinn acrylic paint video, since all my paints its mostly acrylics, and i really found a hard time thinning those... Hope the video will come out soon~~ Nice job on the tutorials and the builds! Love ur work!
Thanks for the clear and useful thinning information!! Wondering for thinning metallic paint do we need of the thinner say ratio 1 : 2 instead of 1.5? Thanks!
Wouldn't it be easier for you to use a funnel to pour the paint into the bottles? It wouldn't spill unless you overfill the funnel, which is easy to avoid doing.
Hi! Thanks for the video! Have another question, have you ever used the mr thinner leveler that contains retarder? Is there any benefits for airbrushing with retarder? To me sounds like retarder would help a lot for dry tips and giving time for paint to self level but not sure.
Fantastic video, well done my friend!!!!!!!! Please allow me a question, could you use for thinner mr levelling thinner ? Which one would be better for pre thinning mr hobby primers/colors ? Mr color thinner or mr levelling thinner ?
Doesn't matter which one you use, the only difference is mr levelling is self levelling, you get a slightly smoother finish with mr levelling and it's a bit more forgiving if you spray too thick.
Terima kasih 🙏
I know this is old, but new to me. Great videos! I’m glad to see these bottles I have been using them too. I like them better than pointed option and with separate cap. I see you using 1500 surfacer, do you use that more than 1000. I struggling whether to use 1000 or 1500, it think 1500 is perfect if not doing heavy mods, or am I wrong.
Sorry if this is old, but great tutorial. I too use those bottles. Do you use me color 1500 for all priming of gundam? I used black and it was awesome. Struggling whether to use 1000 or 1500, I don’t do too much modding, just painting.
Sorry know this is old, but I started using the same bottles for the thinner and tool cleaner as well. It seems the tool cleaner is making inside bottle white, have you had this happen? Is this normal? The pet bottles should be ok with lacquer.
I always wanted to know how to use lacquer paint. But this is for Mr Hobby paint. How abt other brands of lacquer paints. Is it the same ratio 1:1.5? Anyway, it's my first time airbrushing & I've seen reviews & feedback from my friends that lacquer paints are better than acrylic paints. And I want to achieve chrome candy color finishes. So I hope u can help me by giving me some good advices on how to get the finish look that I want to have on my Gunpla.
Kalau nk guna cikit..barapa pulak sukatan nya..sbb yg ni sukatan untuk satu botol..mcm surfaced tu ok la..buat satu botol.. tapi untuk kaler..nk guna untuk berapa part je..cane nak sukat kaler dgn thiner?
Thinner mr hobby tu sesuai tak utk sapu atas part selepas panel lining? Tamiya punya thinner ada tulis enamel. Mr hobby taktau enamel ke apa. Ada beza tak? Minta pencerahan
Would love to know what kind of paint bottles those are and also the measurements of the bottles too so I can search for them on Amazon or a local craft shop thank you.
Nice video, but you dont have to always use a mixer to pour the paint. You could have easily poured from paint jar to clear bottle and not have that paint spill...😂😂
Had same question before, for react part, I’m using water based paint, it seems okay. For dry out issue, indeed it’s true, it would try up or at least thicken even it stay in the origin glass jar if given time. However, the solution is pretty straightforward, just add some more corresponding thinner, it should be okay.

He's a malaysian. I click subscribe. Proud that he was a gunpla builder.
Mixing clear bottles is always a good choice 👍🏼
Im really grateful that you made this video, I just starting to build and custom gunpla and this video of yours is really helpful. keep on the good work!

For now, nak set workplace dan basic tools dulu.

Selalu idola la brader ni
Love the video! thank you for the great demonstration. I gotta ask though, where do you get the empty paint bottles?
I always go back to this video when I get new paints
Fantastic video !!!!!!!! My friend how long can we store this mix without having troubles concerning its consistency properties etc ? Can we do the same with mr color/aqueous color line ?
Hi.. nice video. Can you/ have you tried use a lacquer paint (ex Mr. Color) to brush?
Thank you for the tutorial, but I'm still waiting for how to thinn acrylic paint video, since all my paints its mostly acrylics, and i really found a hard time thinning those... Hope the video will come out soon~~ Nice job on the tutorials and the builds! Love ur work!
Great video ,what happen if too much thinner like 1:2 or 1:2.5. What will happen?
Hello! In your experience is laquer better than acrylic! I use Tamiya acrylic but is lacquer better overall?
Would you use the same ratio paint->thinner if you were using Mr Leveling?
question: do clear coats from Mr color need to be thinned too? or are they ready for airbrush? also, is it the same ratio?
how long will the paint last in the bottles before it dry up?
Thanks for the clear and useful thinning information!! Wondering for thinning metallic paint do we need of the thinner say ratio 1 : 2 instead of 1.5? Thanks!
Very helpful video. How long do you wait for the primer to dry before applying your first coat of paint? I haven’t used lacquers before
Wouldn't it be easier for you to use a funnel to pour the paint into the bottles? It wouldn't spill unless you overfill the funnel, which is easy to avoid doing.
Which thinner suits better for the primer? Normal or leveling?
I wish I had discover this vid before destroying 2 bottles of surface primer. Excellent information shared here. Thank you.
Same, mine was clotted and seems to harden
Was using thinner for enamel ones and just realized it isnt compatibles with mr color
Hi! Thanks for the video! Have another question, have you ever used the mr thinner leveler that contains retarder? Is there any benefits for airbrushing with retarder? To me sounds like retarder would help a lot for dry tips and giving time for paint to self level but not sure.
Great video! Thank you for the english subtitles
Thank you so much for your support!!
terbaik bro tips dan cara thin yg diperlukan... wait for next video acylic. Dan saya cadangkan buat video utk thin gaianotes mengunakan mr.thinner
For hand painting, what would be the best mixing ratio?
Hello, is it possible to mix Mr. Color and Aqueous Hobby Color (using Mr. Color Thinner)?
Fantastic video, well done my friend!!!!!!!! Please allow me a question, could you use for thinner mr levelling thinner ? Which one would be better for pre thinning mr hobby primers/colors ? Mr color thinner or mr levelling thinner ?
Doesn't matter which one you use, the only difference is mr levelling is self levelling, you get a slightly smoother finish with mr levelling and it's a bit more forgiving if you spray too thick.
Great video. What size plastic bottles please?
If you need to mix two colors, they blend well even thinned like this?
Thank you :)
Another question do you thin down Mr color clear coats the same way?
What ratio do you use to GX114 and what thinner brand?? Capacity of bottles? PD: You are the best for me ;)
Terima kasih 🙏

Just take those number as sand paper 500 is for very Matt coat for weathering, 1000 like a semi smooth & the 1500 is the smoothest.
MAKASI BANYAK BRO!!! Super helpful man! Lafyu hahahahaha
Hi, can you tell me if those bottles are PVC or PET??? Love your videos!!!
Thanks for the nice video. Where can we find those nice bottles
Hello, im new to airbrush and mr hobby, is the Mr Metalic have the same ratio 1:1.5? Thank you
Sorry if this is old, but great tutorial. I too use those bottles. Do you use me color 1500 for all priming of gundam? I used black and it was awesome. Struggling whether to use 1000 or 1500, I don’t do too much modding, just painting.
How long does it take to finish the purple paint?
Sorry know this is old, but I started using the same bottles for the thinner and tool cleaner as well. It seems the tool cleaner is making inside bottle white, have you had this happen? Is this normal? The pet bottles should be ok with lacquer.
Great video!
when airbrushing with acrylics does the one index finger rule for the nozzle work?
after paint the grey color, do we need to wash the airbrush before paint the other color ?
ok jumpa dah youtuber gunpla melayu :D
Great video, nice and simple and clear! Thank you! One question: how do you get the labels off the paint without tearing them?!
Thank you so muchh!! Heat the label with hairdryer first! Then you can peel it without having any problems!
When you peel that label without tearing it I was like "F**k, is that possible?" lol
You have a link to the clear plastic squeeze bottles you use for the thinned paints?
Laqcuer paints dont peal of only water based does.
Is the ball rust resistant? I had some alclad paint that got bad because the steel ball rusted inside the bottle.
Where u get the bottle?? And what the name of it??
hey mate i know this is a bit late but you can search ''twist vape bottles'' and you will find the same sort of bottle

Thanks for the video. Any idea where to get those dropper bottles. Anyone have a link to them with the agitators?
Thinner mr hobby tu sesuai tak utk sapu atas part selepas panel lining? Tamiya punya thinner ada tulis enamel. Mr hobby taktau enamel ke apa. Ada beza tak? Minta pencerahan
Will the paint be in that consistency and will not dry up inside that plastic bottle?
AWESOME!! I need those bottles though :)
I don’t know if you still reply but does lacquer thinner harm abs plastic. ?
Would love to know what kind of paint bottles those are and also the measurements of the bottles too so I can search for them on Amazon or a local craft shop thank you.
Where do you get those bottles from? I'm especially having a hard time finding the 2oz ones that are safe to store lacquer paints/thinner in.
I found them on Amazon.
@@Battledog44 Do you happen to have a link, or could you tell me what to search for? I really need these bottles as well.
Baoblaze 10Pcs 100ml Plastic Empty Bottle with Twist Top Cap on Amazon is my guess. Says solvent safe. 🤷♂️
Can i use this method. On my gaianotes
asslamualaikum...bro klo dh pre thin mr surface..boleh tahan lame dlm mix bottle tu?
Nice video, but you dont have to always use a mixer to pour the paint. You could have easily poured from paint jar to clear bottle and not have that paint spill...😂😂
@Eagunpla what size are your empty mixing bottles?
Mat macam mana ratio hand brush ? Boleh pakai base laquer jugak kan ?
May I know where did you get the bottles to store the paints?
I also wanted to ask this
@@cnoob i had found the answer. You can find it on online shop such as shopee, lazada or ebay. just search for "squeeze paint bottle"

Great video thank you! Where can I get those bottles you are using to buy online?

Assalam bang..kalau guna thinner yg jual kt kedai biasa tu boleh guna ke? Mintak penjelasan
Such a great idea!!
But I would like to ask, will the thinner react with the plastic bottle?
And will the mixture dry out if not used for too long?
Had same question before, for react part, I’m using water based paint, it seems okay.
For dry out issue, indeed it’s true, it would try up or at least thicken even it stay in the origin glass jar if given time. However, the solution is pretty straightforward, just add some more corresponding thinner, it should be okay.
As he said in video, the ratio of paint-thinner is not that big of deal, just keep it in a reasonable range.
Assalamualaikum..bang kalau guna handbrush nk letak air/thinner jgk ke..ke just cat je..
