Great review there Mark. I keep looking at these smaller scale monster trucks/bashers, but then look at my full shelf of other cars and have so far not gone for one! Seems the price has jumped since you recorded that, now at £97 but still decent value for money. Quick edit, if you have Prime you can still get it for just above £77.
Hi Tony and many thanks for watching. I totally understand your dilemma, these little bashers are great fun but we have to have room on the shelf! Thanks for the info about the price, I have Amazon Prime and didn't realise that the £77 price was only for Prime users as that was the only price I was shown! Great info though mate and I've pinned your comment so others here are aware of that. Cheers! :D
@@MarkBryanRC it’s probably worth doing a free Prime trial if people have one available. Save the £20 and then cancel. Interestingly a 20% voucher is available on my screen at least which knocks £18 off, but you still have to pay a fiver postage which brings it back to £13 off. Still not bad though 👍
@@MarkBryanRC So minor update! Pricing has changed, regular price now £89, but there is a 20% off voucher available on site which brings it down to £71.99. Soooo I've ordered one 🤣
Much appreciated, Fil! It was hard not to like this little truck as I couldn't really find anything wrong with it. As you say, with all the good features at the price point, what's not to like! Cheers pal! 🍻😎🤘
Definitely, Damien! This one really is that good, I can't find any weak points. Anybody starting out would be chuffed with one of these little rigs! Cheers pal! :D
Thanks pal, yeah I was glad they sent it me, it was fun to test! I agree, one of the good thing about Haiboxing cars is there are plenty of spares around. Cheers! 🍻😎👍
Too right Del, the closest I got to this back then was a Taio Jet Hopper! And it needed 8AA batteries! 😅 Yeah, if we had this back then we'd certainly be over the moon! 😁👍

Nice car and presentation Mark. Althought I don't care about top speeds on these cars, the manufactors should already know that most of the RC enthusiasts have GPS devices😉. But bashing looks like a lot fun with it.
Well said Dirk! Yes the top speed isn't so important on these little off-roaders. And yes we have ways to test the speed! 😅 Thanks for commenting my friend! 🙏😎👍
77 mc pundas?! Wow I don't know how they are able to do it and still make a profit. A very comprehensive, and well manufactured bit of kit. An ideal gateway car for younglings just getting into the hobby. The chassis looks shockingly similar to a scaled down kyosho fazer mk2! Looked like you two big kids had a great time with it in the posh park. It took the trusty stump of doom very well indeed..... And I loved the durability tests! Great video lads. 😊 👍 👍 👍
Hello there James, yeah it's a bloomin' bargain, isn't it?!?!?! Hard to pick a fault really, I just wish they hadn't quoted a top speed on Amazon, to be fair 18mph is all a stock 1/10 scale Tamiya will do, so this is actually pretty quick! Oh yes, you are right about the Fazer chassis resemblance!!! Well spotted dude! Glad you enjoyed the crash testing, of course you know we crashed on purpose!!! 😂🤣 Thanks pal and all the best! 😎🙏🤘
Absolutely, Alan! It's a great company to deal with too. You don't get much more fun for your buck as you do with this little basher, mate! Thanks for watching and commenting, always appreciated here. 😎🙏👍
That's such a cool truck, Mark! And I loved that you had the smaller brothers there available for a comparison, very nice! And a great review and run as always, mate!2105A Funny you mention they should do a brushless Pro version, they actuall do! The HBX 2105A (I needed to look it up) is the brushless version, I have that one. There also used to exist a brushed version that was with plastic driveline, but I guess it must have been discontinued. Instead, what they did was to introduce the one you have, it is fully prepared to upgrade to brushless, full metal driveline. As you said, tough as nails. 😉 What I did with mine, the truck wasn't my thing, I bought a cheap buggy body (Phat Bodies) and stuck on some Tamiya rallyblock wheels (from TT-02) and I cut the bumpers off, and then I called it a buggy, it is awesome, he he!
Hi Mads and thanks for the kind words and extra info! I didn't know about the 2105A brushless version, you certainly can't get it here. Hiya mate. Oh yes that looked rather a lot of jolly good fun. Nice review mate. Like you say these things are so light that when they crash they just bounce off. Presumably those shocks are just pogo sticks and not oil ones that they didn't fill up? I'm guessing not from what you were saying. You can't knock the value on these things can you? Nice vid to watch on a Sunday evening with a beer. All the best mate 😁👍
Hi there Pete. We certainly had a few laughs trying this little basher out so I think that says it all! Yeah the shocks don't have the option to fill with oil, sadly. It would bounce less on landings if oil was in there, that's for sure. Not a game changer at the price point though. Hoping to get sent a brushless one next. Glad you enjoyed it with a nice pint! All the best to you as always mate! 🙏😎👍
Good god, at 77 quid you cannot go wrong, especially when you get an extra shell and battery. I wish Tamiya would do these types of RC's at these low prices, although I know it's never gonna happen. Great footage also mate, cool how you used the base of the tree as an impromptu ramp. That was great thinking..👊🙂👍🏻
Totally agree dude, for an RC bundle that's got everything you need it's hard to beat at that price. And as you know there is no BS here, it really is a great little basher!
