We can only feel it but only few geniuses like Raja sir has touched it. That’s why Ilayaraja sir is seen close to god. Others mentioned here doesn’t come anywhere near that. MSV can never come closer to Raja when it comes to orchestration and arrangements. Shekar didn’t want to go into details of how Raja conceives all to bring it to the notation. He praises more MSV who let the people to play and take it as his music. Rahman does the same. But if a composer brings the music in his name then every single note should come from a composer. There’s no luxury for the musicians to improvise. The host also not going deeply about Raja’s music notation. These people are intentionally avoiding it seems. Never expected Kunnakudi’s son talks less about Raja who gave him life. Can MSVs pre and interludes be like Raja. If you want to show your improvisation, the. Do a private concert, don’t be under Raja’s umbrella. Chandrashekar, go deeper into Raja’s orchestration question. If someone conceived and writes notation before anyone hears the music is nothing but Beethoven level genius. Raja has great tunes, prelude and interludes and his interludes never repeats in a song. But MSV tune was good but BGM is bad and repeats as well. #wowtamizha

Actually, he praised Raja and MSV in equal measure highlighting their individualities. While you are entitled to your opinions, to say that "MSV who let the people to play and take it as his music" is simply untrue. I recall reading Mr. Vamanan mentioning in an article that among the early music composers MSV was unique in not letting the composition of BGMs to his assistants. He used to compose himself. Others such as SP Muthuraman, Cello Sekhar, Shankar-Ganesh etc. who have worked with him have also attested to this.
Wow, the audacity you said this about MSV? You have no clue how advanced you must be to do what MSV did in the 60s. Such compositions are more superior than Raja's. Raja is extremely talented no doubt, but really, sheesh! raja fans are just super headweight just like raja.
