    Simple, yet very effective. Looks great painted black with the Kioti logo.

    Great great idea. I have weights on my new CS2220 along with fluid. If I need more weight I can sure do this. Thankyou for the idea

    Nice, i have the components, just need to find the right size barrel. I'm also going to throw a 2" receiver in the back of mine to hold my winch mount just in case. Thanks for the inspiration.

    I like your barrel ballast. I wonder if it could be modified so that the barrel is horizontal. Then you would have more ground clearance and possibly a bit more weight further back from the wear wheels, which would increase the ballast through leverage. 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️

    It looks like a thirty gallon drum, which is ~4.0 cubic feet. A cubic foot of concrete is ~150#. So your ballast weight is ~600# plus the weight of the drum. So a total weight of a tad less then 650#

    How many bags of concrete did you use for the 35 gallon drum? We can find lots of 55 gallon drums around here, but...we want ours to be like yours. Thanks!

      I want to say it was 9 bags, but it’s been a couple years. Good luck!

    Where did you get the kioti logos for your stuff? Is it stickers? Or is it painted?

      My wife printed them out on a Cricket machine. They’re just decals.

    Bob, really like your mods, I’m evaluating my first tractor and leaning towards the CK2610. Firewood, gravel driveway and rocks/landscaping are my use cases and it seems like a good fit. Thanks for posting your videos, I’m interested in the tool box you made, especially how you mounted it.

      @@daviddunn1923get yourself a five gallon bucket, enough RV antifreeze to fill your tires, and a sump pump or any pump that you can fit in the five gallon bucket and screw a hose to. Jack up the back of your tractor, remove the valve stem, attach a garden hose from the pump to an adapter that goes from the hose to the valve stem. You can buy this part at Tractor Supply. Add the fluid to the bucket and start pumping. Make sure the valve stem is at 12:00 and fill until it starts to run out the valve stem when disconnected. Super easy just takes time.

    Hey Mr. BOB ,plus you are "saving" your front axle by counter-leverageing the weigh behind the rear axle. With wheel-weights & filled tires the front axle suffers even more. Good build--- simple, handy and cheep-- a well perfected design. Buy the way your ck2610 hydro is so so clattering LOUD, just like all the other's just like it. IF l was considering a likewise tractor (already have 3 others), l would go with a CK3510SE shuttle shift (Almost quiet as a mouse) for 20% more money. Of the two units l have a Kubogy MX5200 shuttle &a Massey-Ferguson 1736m power shuttle, l can hardly know or hear they are running @ 25' away. They diesle-oxidation-catalist & electronic fuel injection management system is the reason for this (l suppose). After 5 & 3 1/2 years there systems have worked flawlessly. I shur hope those "systems" don't blow-out or up for a long long time. When & if [it will] Blow-out it will cost Thousands. So l am taking my chances for now ,for all that peace & quiet. Thanks for the great vidio Sir and happy safe Tractoring.

    Nice ballast...BUT...and I mean a BIG BUT...there is not enough ground clearance. You couldn't use that ballast in the woods without getting it hung up on the ground or something else.

    • @bbhmltn
      @bbhmltn  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That’s funny because I literally use it in the woods all the time.
