You got 7 guys lined up deep, they pretty much all know where the ball's probably gonna go before the snap, they all SEE where the ball's going, and still...NOT ONE even lays a hand on him. Smith wasn’t perfect and had his issues, but the Chiefs organization is indebted to Smith and how he turned the program around. Not only that, but teaching Mahomes the league and those little tricks.
@8:53 Sammy Watkins is SO underrated on his blocking ability. I mean, dang Sammy. You see him do this so often and I personally think if you take injuries out of the equation, Sammy’s one of the most valuable assets to Reid and that offense.

This is a testament to team work. I promise you any other quarterback would either overshoot or undershoot when throwing to hill, because let’s face it Hills speed is so insane that any other qb wouldn’t know how to fully grasp how much distance hill can cover in milliseconds. Mahomes doesn’t just have accuracy he has a deep understanding of where hill will end up not just where he should be, because With that much intense speed you can’t really cut back and forth (but hill can for some reason but that’s not the point) so mahomes lands it in places where hills inertia isn’t wasted.
