I always thought the upside down cross was a form of reverence and respect from the apostle Peter to Jesus. Peter was crucified upside down because he felt unworthy to die in the same manner as Jesus Christ. Not sure if Davey knows this? Regardless, it was an amazing show. AFI has been my favorite band musically, but the lyrics never interfered with my faith in Jesus. I respect amazing song writers and performers such as AFI. From one musician/composer to another.
