0:56 I don't get why they would present them like this(along with DUO and NIO) and not like the rest of their lineup, inside the other half of the case with the cable detached
@@MajorHiFi so far they are great. I feel the upper ranges are right beneath where I would call euphoric but not by much. sits on the edge of wanting to be fatiguing but doesn't cross that line for me making it perfection.
Thanks! U12t has a little more overall skill, but if you're just looking for a different flavor, the U4s can definitely deliver. Less warmth than the U12t, more "dry" and analytical sounding.
Any advice on what to get as a drummer around this price range? These sound nice, but I’m not 100%. I was also looking at the Duos, Helios, and Sennheiser ie900. Advice?
Thr recessed mid-range and ethereal vocal presentation of the u12t, was a shocking discovry and absolutely does not justify their circa $3000 price. The u4s has greater impact with regard to drums. The performance to price ratio of the u4s compared to the u12t, is more advantageous.
From my personal experience I really struggle to imagine how any IEM can compete with a good ol' neutral over-ear like the 660S2 for mixing and production. But hey, if you want to give IEM mixing a shot, U4s is definitely one of the better options out there.
ah thanks! and yeah actually I spend the end of the video talking about how it's a refreshing IEM to come across in the sense that it represents its price really well. Gets you *really* close to the more expensive stuff from 64 audio without feeling like youre missing something.
Great review.

Get a custom Hisenior Mega5EST. it's $600 and smokes the U4s
how’s this for rock/metal compared to UM MEST mkii?
not far, only jh does that perfectly
Would you say the U6T is better if I prefer the smooth and warm sound? Or should I just splurge for the U12T.

Do you think 4s is more resolving than a headphone like 660s2 for music production?
