I visited the Belvidere, Schoenbrunn, Holocaust memorial, Christmas market at Parliament, Vienna opera house, Stephensplatz. Most beautiful city! I had the time of my life! The vienerschnitzal was amazing!
0:34 St. Stephens was built outside of the city walls in the 13th century - so back then it certainly wasnt the center^^ 1:17 You can pay a fee for: Elevator on the N-Tower (like in the video) where you can see the Pummerin, an important bell in Vienniese history and the worlds 2nd largest free swinging bell (completly missed by the video makers), aswell as visit the S-Tower (343 stairs, do not recommend if claustrophobic), visit the Catacombs and have guided tours both on the inside and outside where they explain portions of this important landmark. 1:44 To really explore all the sights in the inner (old) city it would take somewhere around a month. Every building there is at least 300y old, many much older then that. 1:46 Monument built in memoriam of the plague outbreak in the 17th century. 2:40 Some restaurants are generalists others are specialists - Schweizerhaus is part of the second group. What are u drinking? 4:42 The writer coffee house was Cafe Griensteidl. Every coffee house specialisted in a different group/subject of ppl whichfor there never was a "central meeting point". If you had to choose between Vienna vs. Copenhagen in terms of beauty and liveability which one would you choose without being diplomatic please answer me 🙏🏻😊✨
Good question. Both cities are fantastic and underappreciated by so many people, we've been to Vienna twice, and Copenhagen just once. We'll give the edge to Vienna just because the costs for some things in Copenhagen are so high so that can hurt the livability.
Great job, great info and video. You’re both so adorable, I hope on the future you’ll be more a bit more conversational and let your personalities shine! Bravo!
Hi Shirley, thank you for your question! We took a train to travel between all three cities and we would definitely recommend that mode of transportation. The travel time between Budapest and Vienna is about 2.5 hours and the time between Vienna and Prague is a bit under 4 hours if I remember correctly. We booked our tickets through OBB which is the Austrian Federal Railways and it went pretty well. The only thing when booking is that you have to purchase a ticket, and also pay a small extra cost to reserve a seat. Hope this helps!
If you wanna save money you can book other modes too, ÖBB trains are nice and clean but there are also other low cost option such as Regiojet trains and flixbus busses between Prague and Vienna, to Budapest from Vienna I would rather take the ÖBB railjet which runs several times a day, also from Prague to Vienna. You can also try to book railjet rides out of Prague via the czech railway which might offer lower fares via the website of Ceske Drahy.
Thank you for your question. The hotel we stayed at was arte Hotel Wien Stadthall. It was next to a subway station and at the time we booked it was an affordable option. The hotel was clean and good but there are probably fancier options. We were happy with it!

THanks for the great question, the cost for the tour is 9 EUR per person (adult) and a lot of helpful details are shared on their website here www.wiener-staatsoper.at/en/your-visit/guided-tours/

Very nice Video! Next time you guys come you really should visit the Belvedere Palace and its amazing gardens right in the city centre and the Kahlenberg as it offers an fantastic view over the city and is next to the 19th district with its beautiful vineyards and heurigers!
You should mention the prices as well, it would be useful. Probably many potential visitors would just give up the visit. And you could go to some other parts of Vienna, not only the very center, of course the nicest. Try without camera seen to get some help from somebody, that counts also to learn how people are.
@@mabezibrepuklismo3296 Thanks for the feedback and the ideas! We'll try to add more prices in future videos and definetely explore more areas outside the center of Vienna next time we visit!
We found that the subways are pretty reliable and have good coverage so if your hotel is close to a subway station you should be able to get to the city center no problem (this is what we did). When we visited we bought a 72hr transit pass which is 17EUR. There is also a 24hr and 48hr option.
@@AnimeLover-qf8hn If you just want to get a single ticket and not the all you can ride pass it is 2.40 EUR per ride. So if you only want to take one ride into the city and then one ride out at the end of the day then this would be cheaper.

But one tip: If you have no "ö"-key on your keyboard, type "Schoenbrunn" for "Schönbrunn" instead of "Schonbrunn".
It can lead to bizarre confusions with German speaking people, when not using Umlauts.
E.g.:
Schlosser = locksmith
Schlösser = palaces
lastig = heavy
lästig = annoying
schwul = gay (homosexual)
schwül = muggy
Bar = bar/pub
Bär = bear
rosten = to rust
rösten = to roast
lugen = to peek
lügen = to lie
schon = already
schön = beautiful/handsome
And there are yet hundreds of other potential misunderstandings, when one doesn't use Umlauts properly.
So without the possibility to use "ä", "ö" or "ü", better use "ae", "oe" or "ue" as a substitute.
That's totally fine.
In view of pronunciation:
The "ä"-sound shouldn't be a problem for native English speakers at all. Just say "bear", "care" or "where" and you got it. The "ö"-sound shouldn't be a problem either. It just sounds exactly like the "u" in "urgent", the second "e" in "emergency" or the "i" in "James T. Kirk".

Yes we loved Vienna, one of our favorite places to visit. You live in a beautiful city!

Me too
I am in New Subscribed
Steephansdome is more znam a thausend years old
there's a hotel that is about 3km from the city center. can i go in the metro to the city center? and how much it costs?
We found that the subways are pretty reliable and have good coverage so if your hotel is close to a subway station you should be able to get to the city center no problem (this is what we did). When we visited we bought a 72hr transit pass which is 17EUR. There is also a 24hr and 48hr option.
@@DomanationTravels thank you for answering. but is the pass per person?
@@AnimeLover-qf8hn Yes the pass is per person. How many people are you traveling with?
@@AnimeLover-qf8hn If you just want to get a single ticket and not the all you can ride pass it is 2.40 EUR per ride. So if you only want to take one ride into the city and then one ride out at the end of the day then this would be cheaper.
@@DomanationTravels i see. thank you for the response!
I am from Vienna and would like to know if you did see real Vienna as well or just the most classical tourist attractions?
Thank you for your comment. Most of our time was spent at different attractions so hopefully next time we can try more local experiences. What do you recommend?
@@DomanationTravels find me in Facebook Natascha Franziska Soufi add me and send me the season you planing to come and I will send you links and recommendations.
Why don't you tell us the prices?
Thanks for the feedback, I agree that sharing prices is very helpful and so we started doing this for our newer videos
