@@SGrailadventure2004most likely Also, based on my observation, some ppl from Punggol, during the morning, exploited PGC as a way to catch their seats. Meaning they ride the train to PGC and then to city so that they can have seats.
That means part of the overrun tunnel could be under the sea since it's near the coast. The original punggol tunnel ended here 34:47 this is where the launch shaft of the tunneling machine was. Above is between sam kee and punggol lrt (the small empty land area)
Strange walls seen before/after NEL MRT stations: 0:19 to 0:26 (after 0:26 still continues far) On the right side after HarbourFront station 5:46 After Chinatown station (I) 5:51 After Chinatown station (II) 15:42 After Boon Keng station 19:58 After Woodleigh station 24:49 After Kovan station 29:25 After Buangkok station 32:26 On the right, an unusual infill station box-like structure was spotted (with an strange green light and a stump between the emergency walkway path - seen on the right - and the structure is similar/familiar to other infill stations like or such as Tagore, Hume (opening in 2025), Bukit Brown and others etc.). The unusual infill station box-like structure could be found under the TPE between Sengkang and Punggol stations 34:49 Between Punggol and Punggol Coast stations (both sides) 35:38 Before Punggol Coast station (both sides) (I) 35:47 Before Punggol Coast station (left side) (II)
the first one is for crossovering the 2nd idk the 3rd they just make it circle the 4th same as 3rd the 5th same as 3rd 6th same as 3rd 7th is just box yeah 8th it is the emergency exit (because distance from 1st station to 2nd is far) 8th is same as 3rd 9th is like 1st one 10th is like 1st one too but from the back hope it helps
the 8th one is actually a blue light 😅, it shows where the blue lights box is, it’s where traction current isolation switch is at, and next to those blue lights are the emergency exit, but the exit for NEL doesn’t lead to surface, it goes to the adjacent track just my two cents :)
After Chinatown to buangkok station is just the walls that were opened when the station opened and when the station was not opened the walls was not opened
Where are the tunnels heading to beyond Punggol Coast station?
Good question.
Maybe a future NE19 Coney Island station?
I see no signs of another scissor crossover.
@@DeevilStudiosIs it just a dead end similar to the former Punggol Terminus?

Just a overrun tunnel. Punggol Coast is actually already really close to Coney Island, so there's not really a point extending the line there.
That means part of the overrun tunnel could be under the sea since it's near the coast.

Notice that after Hougang station, the circular tunnels become rectangular ones.
