They try to make sense of Limerick's utter brilliance, particularly in Croke Park, following their second half demolition of Galway.
Undoubtedly Clare will rue some of their decisions on Sunday, but there is no denying the incredible skill levels and attitude of Kilkenny - whoever the manager.

Kilkennys last 3 games are like Limerick’s first 3 in Munster. Mixed performances and scrape a result. Limerick peaking at the right time with incremental improvements. 6 point margin in final.

Wow.....a childish analysis there Shane. After 66 minutes last year they were only so many points behind, this year they were blah blah points behind. Thats how you compare how they have gone back in a year!? Same metric you must think KK gone backwards too so cos of their hammering of the Banner last year compared to this year's smaller win?? But oh no,KK better equipped this year? 2nd half was disappointing for Galway,absolutely,but they were better this year no doubt. First half still gives us hope. Limerick are simply brilliant.

I understand the game is harder to ref but the standard of ref's have gone way down. Stack, Lyons, Owen's are very poor. Any ref can get small 50/50 mistakes wrong. These ref's make big mistakes that impact the game. Every game the past 2 or 3 years all people are talking about is reffing.

Lynch and Casey are back and Guillane, Hayes and Reidy all appear to be fully fit this year. Not in a bad position even if Hannon and Finn are out... hon the Sodacakes and Garryowen in glory.

Battle harden k.k always seem to fimf an extra gear when it counts..last year limerick only it by two points this k.k team under new management has a fresher approach and by god are the cat's going too trow the barn door at this all ireland final ..hon the cats🐯🐯🙏🙏🏆🏆👍👍🤟🤟
