Did you already watch the video about why Finland has been selected the happiest country in the world for 3 years running? th-cam.com/video/5RMBkupMfW4/w-d-xo.html

I had a feeling I'd be laughing at times during this video. Yes, cultural differences seem enormous and unsurmountable, but with lots of communication anything can be solved. Compromise is the key. Work hours in Finland are similar to work hours in Canada. After a certain amount of hours, a tad more than Finland, we are paid time and a half. Thank you, it was interesting.

Yes, some of the things thatcan happen, are funny, at least when you look at them afterwards 🙂 It takes a bit to dare to be open but that really is the only way to know where you need to compromise! -TK

Interesting!! It is really surprising for me to know the vast difference in the work culture of the two countries, particularly the working hours in India is very long compared to Finland.

    This topic is very important.
I have experienced this cultural shock before.
At the medical school I worked on designing posters, & e- mails and flyers. The owners were foreigners and constantly made awful choices in color schemes and fonts.
I was given the freedom to handle advertising, but it was for the best
to prevent stereotyping and distrust from prospecting students.
I like how both of you are excellent communicators and brought out the cultural differences into discussion.
    I loved this video 💗

Hi and THANKS. I have had the fortune to travel abroad and to study and work with MANY Persons of different Countries and Social Origins/MILIEU. It is ALWAYS STIMULATING, THE DIFFERENCE. But not always so easy to keep all different persons together FOR LONG. Anyway, I always must notice my personal GROWTH. There is always kind of "passage of cerebral substance"... we are all ON THE PATH. Great VIDEO, thanks again. sa

@@NationConnection you are part of the problem. my indian coworkers are hyper competitive for no reason. they think just looking busy and staying late into the night looks good but in fact all you are doing is perpetuating a horrible work culture where employees are treated like paid slaves rather than human beings.

@@crownfc2023 I'm self employed in the US and I own a remodeling business. I refuse to do work for Indian people. It's the same thing every time. They always acted like I was their servant and they wanted as much done for as little as possible. For a lack of a better word it was just very sleezy to me. It was the same thing in every house and I finally just said no more.
