Great video mate- I have H1900 "Hybrid" wheels for E-MTB, the bearings for the axle in the wheel are running ok but both the freehub ones are rough as... Will chap out the external one tomorrow and get a look at the circlip as my "el cheapo" circlip pliers won't get in that far anyway...I'll wait until I can get out the internal(pawl side) one before ordering any just to be sure the size is correct- these companies have a habit of making subtle changes to dimensions and yours is the 11 speed road hub, mine is the 8-10 steel MTB hub....
Excellent guide! When I tried to tap out the inner bearing (the 6902), it separated, and I only got out the inner part and the balls from inside the bearing. The outer part of the bearing is still stuck in the freehub. Any advice on how to get the remaining part of the bearing out?
thx for video! say pls, what length spacer? pinched axle and destroyed 2 spacer, first that whose size 10.1 mm, but I made it out of titanium, second spacer size a don't know, I have problem with that cassette spinning with the wheel, I think because of spacers
Thank you for the video! I have the same rusty water problem, too! I wish the design was a bit more weather resistant.... There's not much info on the web on servicing the freehub body itself, so this is very useful. Are the bearings 6802 and 6902?
Hi. I have a DT Swiss Syncros 3pawl hub (might be a road with centre lock) which I believe is also a 370 but I'm having real trouble knocking the axle out as shown. Do they all use this method?
Thanks for the video, it's very informative and fitting, I just wish I knew where to get the actual bearings from. Any suggestions? My rotor kits is the 12/142mm HWYAAM00S3909S MTB SRAM XD 11 Compatible
Another great tutorial ……followed your dt Swiss 1900 wheel bearing clip and then realised the bearings had gone in the free hub too ……..👍

What is the right side for chamfer of the Seeger? Has chamfer to facilitate the insertion I guess. Great work thanks 👍
Excellent.. Helped me alot and solved my problem
Many thanks! Is it Fh-501b freehub? What's the size of the bearings in hand?
Hey bud, do you know of an upgrade of this freehub body? I've had 5 of these wear out on me in the last few years (metal 'erosion' from racing)

Your videos are so helpful. Thanks! Wich wheels (hubs) are better in your opinion- fulcrum 400 or dt p1800?

Glad you found the video helpful. Yes the bearings are 6802 and 6902.
@@FreeToCycle Just to clarify the bearings in the freehub are 2 x 6802, the bearings in the main hub body are 2 x 6902.
George The freehub uses 1 6902 and 1 6802, the hub has two 6902 bearings depending on which wheel you have.
@@FreeToCycle I replaced mine last week on a 3 pawl dt swiss hub and it took 2 x 6802, I'm not sure if that means there is variation between models.
George Could be but not seen that myself.
how about spline r24, what bearing can i use?
What circle pliers do you use? I bought a pair, but for 1.7mm ends. But too big. Tried filing ends down, but still not able to get circlip out.
Have the same issue. It looks that it's not the standard DIN 472 circlip.
Did you manage somehow to get it out?
You can use a thin screwdriver too
Thank you
