Man, I hope you understand how entertaining, and informative this video is. It's truly amazing to see how a paint job as complex as yours is accomplished.
I hope you are getting paid EXTREMELY well for this type of work.

Yep you got my attention. I usually seal mine of with a couple of coats of clear, just to hold the dust of., and mess ups. There's enough on that to let me scuff it of before I lightly sand for final coating. I've been caught out in the past. with everything from over enthusiastic customers, to air brush back fires. And the cat from next door. Or that bit you didn't notice wasn't quite right, then a month later you spot that you taped it back wards....

Amazing and impressive work! I also like the way you do the video with that little clips from live outside the workshop - it reflects the ratio of that strange "work-live-balance" I guess ;)) Best words for me: "too tired to appreciate it now!" When doing multiple patterns that won't be cleared for a while like what you just did, is there something you put over the patterns to keep topcoat window open or does candy have a long open window?

    • @SlickWorks

Itll get a good wash and scrub with grey scotchbrite before going to clear. This will scuff the surface and get rid of any nasty adhesion tape transfer.

Oh yes, you always get tape roll back if you leave it for a couple days. Actually the tape i used was all cheap amazon chinese tape lol. Garbage compared to the fbs tape Im using these days.
