Derek take a step back. Some of us have been here so long you have become a personal friend. We follow you and not so much the car. You could make videos of you and your friends sled riding in the snow and we will watch. Go look at some of these guys building wrecked cars and how much traction there channels get. Everyone is excited to meet you and be your friend. Find someone with the ability to rebuild a wrecked gt350 from Copart. Your sponsors will help with the cost of the rebuild. And everyone will be happy to see the outcome. Next thing you know, winter is over. We love you brother. ✌️
I’m a truck driver don’t swing wide pull forward until your trailer tires are at the point of the turn then turn you’ll get hit swinging wide and when backing up turn your steering wheel towards danger if you going to hit the trailer on the right side turn the wheel towards danger the right and always remember a little bit of steering wheel movement goes a long way
I agree with Roscoe, don't swing to wide trailer will almost follow Big Blue's path. Come to Florida we only have Summer and a light Autumn all year long..
If you had rust in your rockers and rust in your bumpers, i guarantee you have rust under the fender flares. I had this issue with my 06 super duty. I would remove the flares and bumpers, address the rust, and put bedliner front to back on the front/rear bumpers, around the fenders, and bottom quarter of the cab. I used Al's liner. Its a 2 part epoxy and you can add whatever color you want. You can also leave it smooth, or add rubber crumbles or sand for texture. The flares will leave a perfect semi-circle that you can follow around the fenders. You also need to go under the truck, remove the rust and undercoat. Take a close look at the crossmembers on your bed.
Bro, you’re a driver! Don’t overthink pulling a trailer. As you maneuver in those tight situations just try to picture what you’re doing as if you’re watching from above. And don’t be afraid to throw that thing in park, get out, and double check what you’ve got going on around you. Be safe bro. Also checkout my shorts, if I can maneuver a 18 wheeler in a hotel parking lot, you can pull a car trailer 💯 you got it bro
Glad to have you back. I hear you Derek. I hate how it gets dark so early it stinks. Next paycheck definitely getting me some merch. That 350R is so sweet!
The fact you go thru gas that fast. I have a 2014 f150 with the 5.0. I have done a exhaust, cold air intake, e85, and the prx tune which is a performance tune. And I avg about 12.4 mpg
Saw a white 2020 GT350 R about a month ago at a car show. The guy was probably in his 70s that owned it. It was a sweet machine, and he wasn’t selling it!🐍🐎
I put the GT500 up for the winter. I get seasonal depression from the weather here in the NC mountains. I am even considering selling it (I do most winters). Hell, it is snowing here today. I missed you guys not doing the East Coast Mustang Tour. Keep your head up. Ford will sell you a warranty for the 5.2 engine, trust me buy it! It is like $1700 for 3 years iirc.
Same thing happened to me I took my 2008 f150 to a shop near by where I live and they told me it would take about a few weeks because there was a line all I needed was my cams swapped . Well a few weeks turned into months and after showing up nearly weekly to the shop after a year my truck was still not finished dropped like $2000 on parts and labor and my truck is still in the same condition how I brought my truck to the shop. Lesson I learned from this was don’t trust small town mechanics just take it to the professionals shops yes they might charger you extra for experience but better than just losing money you worked hard to earn. If yall want a thorough explanation lmk I don’t mind making a video and showing my horrible experience with a small town shop
Its not much to pulling a car trailer the hardest thing is backing it up but you will get use to it fast i started a few years ago and never had a problem.
Used your code to snag a discount on my x-pipe from lethal for my s650. So i figured i would throw that towards a DBP hoodie, looking forward to wearing it. Enjoy the content!
Yo Derek! Been watching you for a while now and enjoy every video! I’m 19 been driving 18 wheelers since I was 10 and on the road since 16. So I can pull a trailer pretty good lol. Biggest advice I can give you is patience in learning, stay confident! On highways look further ahead, it’s a lotta weight back there and you’ll feel it so you’ll need to brake sooner for stops. A pickup and small car trailer is no problem going forward, yes swing slightly wider on the turns but don’t over do it. Watch the trailer come around the turn on the inside mirror. For backing up setting some cones up in an empty parking lot would be ideal. Hope this helps! Thanks for doing what you do! You’ve honestly got me into mustangs and I’m looking to purchase a low mileage 13-17 gt by the end of the year!
I’ve got a similar year f150 and man yours is lookin real good now. Can’t wait to see it pulling blucifer to the track on a color matched trailer 😩 350r is the dream brotha go for it!
I have the worst luck with shops. Took a month for them to replace a transmission. Now speedometer dont work and odometer isnt registering numbers just dots. It starts and runs so it isnt the pats acting up.
I have the gen 1 voodoo and i have 0 oil consumption at all. WORST case if the car does lose oil if you just check it every time you get gas youll be completely fine man and the later versions of 2017 and up have different screw on filters that eliminate the oil filters backing out. Get the R, you wont regret it
I know we mostly keep to modern stuff on this channel, but I been curious as a connoisseur of classic cars: have you ever thought about getting a gen 1 mustang? The more popular ones like 67 Fastbacks can seriously break the bank, but less desirable years/body styles like 69 or 70 coupes can be had for fairly cheap and feel absolutely monstrous to drive. Along with the lack of modern suspension and safety features, just the feel of driving a classic can make a 250hp car feel equally fun to drive as a modern car with double the power. I'd understand if the answer is no tho, it seems like most of the cars people buy on youtube nowadays are dictated by what they think people will want to watch videos about, and there's not really much you can do with a gen 1 other than do a full restoration that would get people to watch videos of it like whippling a coyote. I just think it'd be an interesting experiment if you could find one cheap.
I late watching video. When I learned to drive trucks years ago my trainer said when it comes to turning tight spots her response." When in doubt pull it out." SWING WIDE. I Laughed so hard but U never had a problem after that.
I might have a 2017 GT 350 if you want to get one, you should especially if you like the handling and brake aspect. It is priceless. Naturally aspirated is pretty amazing and I get you on the Corvette. I might own also a C5 Corvette from a buddy of mine that passed away with cancer, and it is pretty awesome to have gotten that car from his family and I dig your last video of the previous owner of your Corvette.🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Before you say it, I know about the possible issues with the 5.2 but so far my GEN one has been priceless. I put a Ford motor sport oil catch on the passenger side and I get just a little bit in it after about 3000 miles I feel like that is pretty good, so I just keep driving it and enjoying it..🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
How about a tunnel ripping road trip? Map out all the cool tunnels and other some cool stuff. Now that's a cool way to get a paid vacation with a tax write-off! And don't overthink the trailor! Just take your time and don't hit anything.
Shadyside dragway in NC baring crazy weather is open every Sunday in the winter. It's probably about 4 or so hours from you but only like an hour or so from your mom in Charlotte so it could work. Keep up the content man
Make sure when you back up a trailer you pay attention to the tires not the trailer itself and don't over do it when making steering inputs. Otherwise pulling it down the road, not much to it. Just leave yourself room to stop and make emergency maneuvers
Bro driving a truck with a trailer behind, best advice I can give you is to drive normal and act like your not hauling anything lol. When you do get into the city and traffic, just make sure you mirriors are adjusted correctly so you can see the entire car. Other than than that drive it like the trailers not behind you cause the trail is going to follow the same footsteps as the truck your driving
Hey Derek, I've been following since the beginning. I feel the same way when winter comes. Just got a Terminator 10th Anniversary and am doing content on it. Would be cool to collaborate one day.
Hey i drive truck what i will tell you take it to a big parking lot practice turns and backing and more backing and more backing till your sick of backing then more turns and more backing
Hey do some day in the life videos it doesn’t have to be car content all the time I would watch a video of you and the wifey going snowboarding I’m tuning in to any video
*Snag a 007 Shirt Here Before They Are Gone!* www.dbpsquad.shop
@DEREKBaranProductions I go through the seasonal change depression I just got over it it's a real thing keep your head up I'm such a huge fan

Dude I completely understand. Winter sucks for car stuff but we PUSH THROUGH
The fact you go thru gas that fast. I have a 2014 f150 with the 5.0. I have done a exhaust, cold air intake, e85, and the prx tune which is a performance tune. And I avg about 12.4 mpg

I would get an air bag kit for the rear of the truck when towing. That will help keep it level and not dip in the middle.
I put the GT500 up for the winter. I get seasonal depression from the weather here in the NC mountains. I am even considering selling it (I do most winters). Hell, it is snowing here today. I’ve been dealing with the seasonal depression too Brodie we go through it man keep ur head up Brodie
Big blue looking mint 🔥🔥🙌
The 350R is my dream car!! Get it bro
Put Air bags on the back axle. Makes for a great ride when towing.
It would be awesome for big blue to tow one of the cars for the first time 🔥🔥🔥
Right!
Same thing happened to me I took my 2008 f150 to a shop near by where I live and they told me it would take about a few weeks because there was a line all I needed was my cams swapped . Stay strong bro. We're here for ya

Derek, brother. Take the holiday season and enjoy it with your family and friends. Do not put unnecessary stress on you due to content.

If you don’t have any already, buy airbags for the truck. It helps with towing and I bet you feel a difference
Man hes got all the cars ive wanted for years and im out here strugglin to get one my self. Goodshit man
I’ve got a similar year f150 and man yours is lookin real good now.
I’ve done the auto transport and my biggest mistake was NOT PAYING FOR VIP i had to wait another hour almost 2 for my car to get off the train. 10:48
Coyote swap "Blue2valve" would be an awesome winter project.
I have the gen 1 voodoo and i have 0 oil consumption at all. Gt350R 🔥hope you get it one day and have it on the dbps 👍
Tracks in GA like South Georgia Motorsports Park runs in the winter sometimes. I know Florida for sure they run in the winter, like Bradenton etc.
All GM and fords have rust issues, my 96 F-150 have rust spots, what’s the name of the shop who did your rust repair. Big blue looking good
Probably get new gears and tune. Idk what it came factory with but that can help a lot with towing
I late watching video. When I learned to drive trucks years ago my trainer said when it comes to turning tight spots her response." When in doubt pull it out." SWING WIDE. I Laughed so hard but U never had a problem after that.

Hey man! I hope you feel better. Love Big Blue. But yeah, a GT350r would be goat.
Derek my boy what’s good hope all is well
Sup buddy!
Make sure when you back up a trailer you pay attention to the tires not the trailer itself and don't over do it when making steering inputs. Otherwise pulling it down the road, not much to it. Just leave yourself room to stop and make emergency maneuvers
You shoulda had them paint match the fender flares and raptor style grill blue woulda looked sick
When backing up a trailer your inputs are opposite. Turn right makes the trailer trun left and vise versa.
Big blue!
Yess
It's easy pulling a car trailer you'll get used to it turning corners is easy also
Yes absolutely awsome shirt I have all of them except #1. Thank you for the great content and up loads!! I want to get a sweat shirt next
Thanks for that man!!!
@ absolutely! Love all your content man !!

You should do a Foxbody build series. Bone stock to badass street car
Hey Derek, I've been following since the beginning. I feel the same way when winter comes. Just got a Terminator 10th Anniversary and am doing content on it. Would be cool to collaborate one day.
Relax, adjust your mirrors, use common sense parking, wide turns. Manuavering Backing up will take time to master. Spare trailer tire at least 1.
good ole chevy with the check engine light on
What's your thoughts on the new Z06? It seems like it could be within your reach if you sold both Vettes?
If you get a light aluminum trailer it should be fine to haul a mustang
Idk about you guys but I'd love to see Derek build the 4.6 3v in big blue into a 5.0 stroker
My favorite spec gt350R is Ruby red black stripes white pin stripes but it’s a gen 1 spec
I would love to see a GT350R on this channel!
Where did you take the truck for the rockers and what was the estimate price for it. I have a 2014 f150 5.0 and needs them done as well.
Even though it’s Buffalo, New York, let’s go Buffalo Bills 1:32
sounds weird but on our 2008 gt we had , there was a burning smell ended up being a plastic bag had stuck to the exaust pipes :P
Come down to South Carolina. The drag strip in Jackson. Carolina dragway I know it’s at least open till December 7th
Sometimes you just gotta act a fool. Little bit of harmless fun!
Are you gonna work on making the now bike garage into a car garage still?
Hell Yea Been waiting for an update on Big Blue 🔥
Cant wait to use it!
Thanks for video. Got to figure out the smell and trans temp now. Has the Shelby give away happened yet or is that later?

Good to see you back. What happened with the Shelby give away? I think I saw a winner?
I was wondering where you were? 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Is there any news on that trailer your having made so you can tow the cars
Why didn’t you put a coyote in big blue? A f150 coyote pullout with the 6r is pretty cheap tbh
check if something is caught on karma’s exhaust
Dam my boy you have the same birthday as my mother! And mines December 14th. Great month next month.
