I mean, you took 10 of your best raiders to a 10 man and already knew mechanics, I don't think that it's easier as much as your group is all doing insane damage and actually knows mechanics.
We all know Guzu did not know mechanics
also they had 3% crit buff at the start and 2 new food buffs aswell
The raid is only as easy as your best players. Who would have thought?
10man is easier. More places to spread less shit on the ground. Overall and avoiding everything is so much easier.
@@etienneb6167 But you have significantly less tools to deal with mechanics and less interrupts.. Only 2 healers on Conclave heroic for example for 3 platforms
25 man IS easier, assuming that everyone knows what to do.
But in 25 man you have 4 ppl who dont know what to do, the 3 ppl who cant dps/heal
and fucking billy that is afk and bob who dcd.
These facts make 25 man SEEM harder, but if everyone is actually good, 25 man is easier AND gives more loot
you also have access to over twice as many interrupts, more combat resses and all class buffs without issues in 25man..
the only downside of 25man is that you need more people to actually listen (and people generally suck :P )
as someone whos been doing nothing but 10mans the entire time so far, 1. You did arguably all the easy bosses... 2. you have had MORE loot from 25mans when 10man players have been suffering with just 2 and most of the time the loot gets DE because its for classes we dont have. and the actual hard fights the mechanics aren't tuned right for 10 man at all you have to play it perfect to get the kill.

Fights themselves aren't that much harder on 25, it's just getting a full raid with people who know what to do
when you hand pick 10 players from 20 ready to go people yeah the 10 man is easier
10man raids are easier if you have a solid 10man grp....they are less forgiving obvs because everyone is more important, whereas in 25m 8 ppl can die and you still can do the fight np.....kind of common sense, but I guess not judging by your reactions and "WOAH 10man is easier??!?!, everyone was saying they waaaay harder etc etc etc..."

The amout of healing/dps output you have too do in 10mans is higher than 25man however if u have 15 slackers with you that you have too hardcarry it's ofc not as easy too cordinate.
1 bad player makes a huge difference in 10man compared to 25,also if you only been doing 10m you get 2 loot per boss which most of the time you de them often since its not covering most class/spec
10m is harder - BUT. Hear me out.
10m is also easier, since you only need to find 9 non-braindead players. Its way easier than finding 24 non-braindead players.
10 man isnt easier or harder, in 10 man theres only 10 people who can fuck up, in 25 there are 25 people who can fuck up, its pure maths, its harder to get 25 compitent players over 10

You ran into the exact issue my guild had back in cata. We entered with a 25 man raid group from wotlk we left with a 10 man group and over half the members gquit. 25 man is actually easier then 10 man and more loot but gl trying to find a group of 25 players who can play the game. I mained a demo warlock with a frost dk to kite adds on magmaw back then. I leveled up an elemental shaman just to teach my friend how to play since he kept getting benched turned out he was just really bad at the game. You cant force someone to improve they have to want that and heroic modes in cataclysm do not allow you to carry those people like you could in wotlk.

Pretty much sums up what you have to do to clear content. You can try to carry the fun people in your guild and spend nights wiping or you can drop them and get loot.

Heroic is easy when you have no bad players
The difference is your 9 best players aren't carrying 16 people they only have to carry you

25 man is easier its just harder to find 25 classic players who have brain and monitor to do mechanics then 10 players but 25 man is way easier
I think how fast you clear in 10 vs 25, says more about your raid team, than the difficulty itself.
Have 1 or 2 underperforming in 10man, you're dead, never progging.
Have 5 underperforming in 25man? Thats fine.
We have a hunter that grey parses in full heroic. Thankfully the fucker is gone in september.
Your whole team has to be the A team to win in 10man. But not in 25.
Pick the worst players in your 25man & do 10man, see how well it will go.
