I have this phone and I say the camera is very good. The battery is very good. Moto definitely did very well with this one. It reminds me of the Galaxy S21 ultra.

I paid $162 after tax for a used Verizon unlocked one on eBay 2 weeks ago and it is in excellent shape. It has 12gb ram with 256gb storage. Its screen turned me off because it is not bright enough like the LG V60. Of course I have to turn on 100% brightness in order to satisfy the brightness level that I wanted, but the battery will drain faster at that level.
I ran an Antutu benchmark on it and its score is 1,191,642. This score is in the range of high end phones nowadays like Samsung Galaxy S23 (1,200,650). The main reason for this high score was because of the better CPU chip than the non-plus 2022 version or earlier. The plus 2023 version got around 1,600,000 score.
Edge Plus is now $515.00 US delivered. And comes with 512GB 👍👍 I just ordered the Moto. Does it have flash alert. Strobe or flashing light when recurving text or call? Great video
Actually its now $499.00 on the Motorola website. Bought mine last week. Added the folio stylus case - we'll worth the $79.00. Stylus on them back of the case is trickle charged by the phone, and it can be propped up like a computer screen easily. A very underrated phone.

I ended up getting one for a steal at boost mobile for my friend. Best phone hes ever had. Ive been trying different phones for myself and they just dont compare so im going to just get one for me too
I switched to this from S21. Moto is superior for what I want. It's just more intuitive. I bought a Pixel 4 XL for $109 from Ebay and sent it to Verizon for $700 off. I got mine for $290 total as a result. I prefer the fast snappy screen, more plastic older gorilla glass which is flexible and won't crack and break when you drop it (phone is also in a case so I don't care about colors). The phone is just the perfect almost pure Android experience. It's too bad it won't sell well because it's better than flagship Samsung from a usability standpoint.
Yes it really is a shame because it's a great phone! I actually really miss it I think I'm going to buy it again soon , it's basically like a pixel with close to pure android and I personally loved the cameras ! You definitely got a good deal for it lol

As a Samsung S series fan boy a had got robbed of my S9 and ended up with a A series I WAS NOT HAPPY. Finally it went out after a year I just bought this phone BOY Motorola came a long way and you get the turbo charging box with it
Got this and a really great case for it for $275 off Amazon with 8/512! Pics r slightly behind my pixel 7 pro,but everything else i like a lot better! The speed and picture quality r great IMO.
I've watched a ton of reviews on this phone and none of the reviewers mentioned exactly how good the macro shots were if you just changed it to the 50mp mode. I would've never thought!
@@jarobetech703 I just bought one off of Swappa and I can't wait to use it. I was just going to install gcam onto it and call it a day, but I may have to give the stock camera app a shot. I've been using the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite for the past 2 years or so and it has been such a great phone, but for the price ($344), I couldn't pass up the 5g, 144hz display and stock android. I am however concerned about the battery life because my dad who has the Edge, doesn't have the option in mobile settings to disable 5g.
S10 lite was a great phone really liked it, but yea I think you will really like the edge and I thought the battery life was actually pretty darn good 👍
AT&T is millimeter 5G - so it will be as spotty as many other 5G on mm - but on T-Mobile, Mint, any other carrier that utilizes T-Mobile towers, the 5G works just fine. The AT&T version of this phone drains battery life because it seems to be constantly hunting for that mm signal. So get an unlocked version like I did and use T-Mobile towers that many carriers use and problems solved. BTW - got mine for $499.00 - added folio stylus case. Cant beat this phone for the price!!
Hello excellent video I have a question on the main camera and ultawide you have to take photos in 50 megapixel resolution? How big are they? You can't lower the resolution of 50 mpx
Hey thank you! So out of the box the camera will automatically pixel bin the photos down to 12.5 megapixels. You have to go to the settings to turn on high res 50 meg shots.
Your showing pictures of the 2023 edge with the curved screen. I just ordered mine it would be prefect if ot had curved screem and alt mode display out but not bsd for $150. Great thing is i researchrd snd it's supposed to have Ready For the decktop type mode to connect to tv. Can't wait mine should arrive ina few days 😊
Just bought this phone to replace my Pixel 7 and WOW... The camera is iffy at times but the screen and fingerprint sensor are definitely way better than a Pixel in my opinion. Only gripe is August 2023 is a week away and Motorola is still on February security patch running Android 12. Paid $495 for the phone and besides untimely updates it's a beast of a phone with great features!
I had the pixel 7 pro and I've hated it! Does yours not send or receive texts and calls frequently? And lag like a bastard? I've had issues with that since I bought it brand new! I got another from the insurance and it did the same thing immediately! I'll take slightly worse pics for all the other positives!
I did too it came threw days ago. 8/512 for that price is a steal imo. I had a pixel 7 pro for about 18 months and I hate it! Tired of paying close to a grand for great camera specs to where I can barely tell the difference!
I got 1 from eBay 2 weeks ago for $162 after tax. It is a used Verizon unlocked and it is in excellent condition. It has 12gb ram & 256gb storage. I like everything about it except its brightness levels. My LG V60 blew it away when comparing the brightness of two phones.
@@LaStOnE_leFt LG V60 is a beast phone and I think it was ahead of its time when it was released in 2020. The only thing I didn't like was its charging port. It has a major issue in the charging port. Its charging port wears out very fast.
I thought the camera front and back were very good 👍 my only issue is there is no telephoto lens so zoom shot aren’t very good , if you don’t mind that I think it’s a great camera system 👍
I mean if it's the same price I'd get the S22 Ultra lol it's a better phone in just about every way, and you get an amazing telephoto lens, where the Moto edge has no telephoto camera. I really want to purchase this phone I have the Moto G stylus 2021 and the fingerprint scanner is on the side. The placement were Motorola puts the fingerprint scanners should be on all phones in opinion. I saw a few other reviews on this phone the Moto edge Plus 2022 8GB 512 GB version for $450 brand-new now this is damn good deal. But I'm concerned on how bad are the speakers on this phone are they good are they bad one of the review said the speakers aren't that great does anybody have any insight on this on how are the speakers on this phone?????

The only thing I disliked about this phone is its brightness level. My LG V60 brightness level is way better than this phone. I thought my Edge+ 2022 is defective in brightness, but it is not and thanks to this video.

I agree especially with it having a stylus case that you can buy for it! Very similar performance wise. I had a lot of fun using the cameras.

I bought a 2022 Plus and have loved it except it does over sharpens inside photos of faces. Other than that it's been flawless.

destroys pixel 7 in gaming by two times too. Just the battery life isnt that great and efficient. maybe 8-9 hour SoT compared to G powers. 12 hours

THE STARDUST WHITE ONE LOOKS BETTER. AT 144HZ IT STILL HAS GREAT BATTERY LIFE. GET THE 68 WATT CHARGER.

Should be under network and internet and then under mobile network I believe there should be a toggle, depends on the carrier I believe

@@maoinc13 Samsung has better marketing. Samsung is also loaded with bloatware that you can't uninstall. It will use up 30% of your storage and RAM.
The sound is not that great for having 2 speakers and stereo. My Galaxy A71 sounds much better. I am returning this phone.
