Can one accompany a piano in this tuning with other instruments (guitar?)? Also, will this affect one singing standard songs (hymns), or do they still sing as always?
I'm not sure which tuning you're referring to, but regarding the Classical tunings, yes a singer would adjust naturally with no problem. I'm not an authority on other instruments, but I believe strings and woodwinds, for example, generally tend to like it more, because they are already used to pure intervals in orchestras, and they commonly find that the leading tone to tonic is wider than usual, but they usually adjust easily.
