I love this play, pure Theatre , at its very best , one does not get actors like this anymore, the art was the important thing, not to ape every day life, one can see that , by looking out of ones window.
Synopsis: A wealthy woman who has been a long-time invalid dies leaving her husband and a paid companion. At the request of her suspicious doctor, Scotland Yard begins to investigate. Did she die a natural death or was there a more sinister cause? This illustrates the power of a guilty conscience.

Good one even if the ending was a bit cheesy. Held my interest all the way through, good analysis of human behaviour under stress.

If the doctor was dissatisfied with the cause of death, why did the doctor sign the certificate??
Wasn't it two different doctors? Or did I just imagine it to make sense of it?
