I Have a completely fine experience as a developer with this laptop, even using it with 2 external monitors... if you compare with similarly aged laptops, tihis one is very portable and flexible... even runs almost 6 hours with patched windows 11 and 2tb cheap nvme. Very happy owner. If you compare it with a macbook or a 2024 laptop, it will suffer in comparison, but go compare with a similarly aged lenovo, and you'll see.

Hp 1030g4 vs hp 1040 g4 which one is better
Regretted buying this PC. Noticed most of the things you mentioned in this video. Just a month after I bought it, the screen went blank while I was reading a PDF on it. Just that and nothing else. Still haven't been able to fix it since then.

@@KkBoy-yl7fn it depends on your demands. I got 840 g5 cause i needed the 8th gen processor + the model i got had 120hz 14 inch touch display. The 1030 g2 model was just not my taste it was 360 but i didnt need 360. the 1030 g2 is a year older than 840 g5. So the 840 g5 is newer, has better performance, better display as compared to 1030 g2.
