Hi Philip! I love your work! I was wondering how many comeras you use in a wedding, because a camera on a tripod is seen at the ceremony. The microphones attached at the main microphone are also yours? Do you record the audio from diferent sources as a backup (microphones and sound board?)
Hey, I believe with this I just had my main camera body + a simple go pro style camera somewhere on a lightstand. I don't think the other tripod was mine but this is actually where I'd typically stand. Sound wise, I'll always take a desk feed if it's available along with some clip on lavs. Hope this helps!!
Awesome video as always. Just got the sl2-s myself for mainly photos and loving it so far. If only you could film in 4k 60 non crop than there were no downsides on this camera :)
Brilliant work Phillip! I am also able to shoot aspc and full frame with my S5. What voigtlander lens of the 50 or 75 would you choose to buy if you only could pick one?
awesome as always, but couldn't you have uploaded at least an HD version? by the way you have changed from leica SL camera to leica sl2s, for any specific reason?
Hey, thanks! This film was made entirely with a voigtlander 50mm 1.4 M Mount. I shot mainly in crop mode which gives a 75mm equivalent, switching to full frame if I needed a slightly wider shot. Still exploring lens choices this year!! Quite like this option though.
@@philipwhiteio I've got one coming up in a couple of weeks where I'll be using the 90mm Summicron-M for the first time. Looking forward to it, taking the 50mm Summicron as a back up in case the prep venue is too tight though.
I switch the camera into APS-C and it turns the 50mm into a 75mm equivalent. It's nice to have both of these options available sometimes. Mostly I'm shooting in crop.
Hey, I just checked. It's graded but naturally a very hazy clip. It does look a little ungraded on the left, I agree. Could maybe have done more spot work to bring this side up but I'm working to a backlog right now. Thanks for commenting :)
Incredible work as always Philip Love how you’ve upgraded to a new Leica as well I wanted to ask, did you just use your Leica and put it in a static position for the ceremony Or did you use a go pro? I remember listening to a podcast and you saying you used go pros for ceremonies and speeches etc
I used 4 cameras in total but only used the 1 camera (sl2s) for this edit. There was also 2 mini cams high up on lightstands and my older SL placed at the back of the aisle. I've since swapped the SL for a 2nd sl2s as the two cameras don't match that easily in log. Hope this helps! P
Beautiful work as usual Philip. One question, what lenses did you use during the ceremony? There are some beautiful close up shots, so imagine you put your 85 on a tripod. One thing I still battle with is getting a close enough shot of the couple, with my longest lens being an 85mm.
Hey! It was actually still the 50mm, I switched to crop mode so 75mm equivalent, but shot in 4k and delivered in 1080. Most of the face shots during the ceremony were stabilised and 'punched' in during the edit.
Philip White - you are the master! Just so beautifully shot and edited. Well done.
Thank you so much for sharing another incredible video. Your online Master Class course, technique and style is superb!
Just found your course online. And than this video! You are a huge inspiration! Please upload more videos🙂
Awesome! Cheers mate, that means a lot. I hope you enjoy the course!
Incredible work once again! Thanks for the inspiration. Cheers from Maui!
Cheers buddy! Hope you're well!
Beautiful Like as usual…!
Thank You Alexandre
Always raising the bar, Philip.

Brilliant work 🙌
Hey thanks Darko

Beautiful as always sir Philip! Makes me want to try handheld too on the sl2s
You should!
@@philipwhiteio After you showed me how to enable the ibis with the Voigtlander lenses, I will definitely try it on my next wedding shoot 👍🙏

Hey thanks. Yes I totally agree, it would be nice to have a 4k option without the crop sensor but I suppose we can never have it all right??
Brilliant work Phillip! I am also able to shoot aspc and full frame with my S5.

Thanks!! I'd go with the 50mm

I think you watched it 5 minutes after it uploaded. It's still processing the file 😂
@@philipwhiteio ok, Exactly, now I see it in all its fullness. Beautiful.

Beautiful. I have the SL2 myself. Lovely to see your work with it. What lens choices are you using right now

@@jmann316 That sounds like a great option. Can't wait to see the results!
@@philipwhiteio Was there a reason why you went with the voigtlander instead of the summicron 50mm for this film?
@@allena3430 Hey! I think I sold the summicron a few years back.
Hi Philip ! Why did you choose a 50mm and not the 85mm ?

Another great film Philip 👏 Are you shooting mixed frame rates throughout the day, or do you stick with just the one frame rate?
Hey! I just switch back to 25fps for the ceremony and speeches and then stick with 100fps for everything else.
@@philipwhiteio wait we have 4K 100p on our SL2s?
Look good and good story but is there an ungraded clip at 2.24
