This honestly is the first time I've ever considered the role of food for all the functions of my mind and body. I think I was like brainwashed by the media to believe that everything I eat will turn to body fat if I don't work it off, but that's just not the case. I really appreciate this insight, Dani :) Thanks for sharing

I love this video. I have been struggling with HA and your videos have been extremely helpful to me. I was wondering if you would share a video of what I eat in a day for HA recovery, or just speak to some of your go to meals? I’d love your recommendation!

This is so interesting! I found your channel today because I was a feeling frustrated for not being able to work out, so I did a search and found this video! I actually used to have HA but totally forgot about it because I couldn’t remember what it was called! From age 13 to 25 I didn’t have a period naturally and was on birth control just to have a period! I had my first period naturally when I was 13 and after that nothing! Ever since I stopped taking BCP five years ago I finally got my period naturally and now have a fairy regular cycle which I am happy about. I’m much less strict with what I eat than I used to be, and while I’m still a bit of an exercise freak I’m also definitely not as hard on myself as I used to be, but I still struggle with letting go of that need to exercise.. mostly to have a regular appetite and all the other benefits it comes with. I was overweight as a child and that definitely had an impact on me. Trying to tune into my body more. I definitely feel things changing and the need to let go of old habits. I still struggle with trying to find balance. Anyway, I thought it was interesting I found your channel. Everything comes full circle! Subscribed and will be watching more of your videos!

I'm so glad you found it! The struggle is real. Glad to hear you don't have HA any more but it's totally normal to still struggle with some of the old mindsets and habits.
