Thank you so much for the information!!! I am traveling from Lebanon to Serbia on the Aegean airlines on the first of June in 2 days! I got a single ticket so the 2 flights have 1 pnr and 1 ticket number, I was worried first because i didn't know at all that i need a visa to transit, but i contacted the Aegean airlines and i saw your video randomly on TH-cam and it was really helpful!!! So i dont need a visa for the transfer. Again thank you so much!
I forgot to mention that the transfer time is 7 hours and 20 mins, I need to wait that time without checking my luggage again and not passing by the passport control, am i right? This waiting time won’t change anything because its kinda long? Thank you for your help
@@jean-pierreachy8091 Hi, yes with single PNR ticket, your luggage will be checked through to the final destination and no need to go through passport control. 7 hours + is fine.
Hi, yes it was very quick, it took us about 30 minutes from landing, complete passport control, to the arrival hall. We transferred from an international flight to domestic (Santorini)
We are flying from Paros to Athens on Olympic Air 063 (May 2024) The flight is scheduled to arrive at 10:20. We are booked on 2 separate tickets, so we then have to get our baggage and recheck into our KLM flight to Amsterdam leaving at 1:30, and then go thru security. I have checked the records of this Olympic flight and it has rarely been very late. Have I given us enough time to do this?
Hello! I will be flying Paris - Athens - Heraklion with cabin baggage only. I booked through a third party who made an error with the limits. They sent an email to say that I'll need to book my extra cabin baggage item at the airport and then I'll be refunded for it. I have 1h55 transit on the way there and 2h on the way back - this should be enough time to transit and book the extra luggage, right?
Hi, for Schengen to Schengen flight transfer, it's pretty straight forward, you don't have to go through immigration (passport control), 1h 55m should be sufficient, but it's hard to be sure.
Hello. There is one question for you . What if we have 2 different ticket and without baggage. Do we have to exit to main hall to check in and get new boarding pass? Or we have to find transfer desk in transfer area to get a new boarding pass? All flights is international flight.
Hi, as I know with different tickets, you have to clear immigration (for international to international), not sure about the case where there's carry on only though. www.tripadvisor.com/ShowTopic-g189400-i194-k13698686-Self_Transfer_at_Athens_need_visa-Athens_Attica.html

Hi - if traveling to Athens on a domestic flight, and transferring to an international flight (so arriving Schengen and departing non Schengen) with carry on luggage (no checked bag) - would we still need to exit through baggage claim and then “re check” in or is there a direct path from B gates to A gates?
