ABBA have come back with a winning album, no surprises here. The songs are so catchy & well written. Can't wait to see the show too, it should be awesome.
its great to see a younger person react so favorably to ABBA's new music. can u imagine how us super fans who have followed them from the beginning felt when we heard these new songs? it blew my mind. i never thought this reunion would ever happen again .i mean after 40 yrs. i mean who does this??? NO ONE!! this is the comeback of the century. i cried like a baby. it was like seeing an old friend or relative i had not seen in so long/ since you like this so much there are many remixed versions out there. the best i feel are from a dj remixer called STORM. he is brilliant and has i think 5-6 versions so check them out. ABBA has given the world the best gift just when we needed them most- cant wait for the new album. viva ABBA forever!!!
Agnetha Falskog singing here is in her early 70s... When younger she was Pitch perfect with perfect Pitch in her astounding range of B2 - F2 the widest in over FORTY years .
I love the fact you like ABBA!! They were and still are brilliant!! It's amazing how you youngsters like their songs, I was a teenager when the won the Eurovision Song Contest in the 70's!!
This song takes me back in time. That 9 or 10 year old boy, playing ABBA songs on the record player, singing along with my best friend. Loved your reaction to this. You have a great ability of taking in the voice sound, lyrics, instrumentals, meaning and production at the same time. I think you will really enjoy discovering ABBA world. Blessings from Oz. 🇦🇺
Just found your channel. Love your genuine and candid rection to this song. I felt same when i first heard it. I was an ABBA fan in early 80s so I felt pretty emotional with this one. Dig your channel.
ABBA spent 5 weeks recording in motion capture suits in front of 160 cameras and next year will appear as avatars and will look as they did in 1979. They are building a 3000 capacity arena for this and I have tickets for next August. This song alludes to them as avatars " But in the shape and form I Appear now" And Now You See Another Me I've Been Reloaded" . I'm Like Dream Within A Dream That's Been Decoded" I'm Not The One You Knew, I'm Now And Then Combined And I'm Asking You To Have An Open Mind " this is asking fans to accept them as avatars using the new technology
ABBA sing about real things this song is about their past {they did not get on for many years} i think they are saying they have grown and all that does not matter any more.
Damn I love this song too. Such a cross-generational band. My grandparents loved them, my mum loves them, i love them. And its played for a new generation in my household. Amazing.

Agnetha's ability to tell such a strong story with her vocals and lyrics is just beyond amazing, when she sings these lyrics at the beginning of the song you can completely visualize every single aspect of the scene... Totally!
At the end of I still have faith in you, those are the ABBAtars, A never been done before presentation using motion capture and AI courtesy of Industrial Light and Magic. A venue is being built in London specifically for a concert with the ABBAtars and a full audience. The first concert will be in May of 2022. ABBA is once again making history. It's not animation, it's what's next.
I love this new song by Abba and can't wait to hear the album - what I also LOVE is your reaction to it and your totally infectious smile that made me smile watching this!! 😀
I predict you will enter a new reality of the music of ABBA. There’s so much more to come November 5th, an additional EIGHT brand new songs are-a-comin’!
You should listen to "Move On". You won't regret it, lyrics and music are so positive and uplifting. It's probably one of their best songs and the arrangements are just great. I'm sure you'll love it! Nice reaction by the way.
CUCKOOFAN,I'm with you!'MOVE ON' was the first Abba song i ever heard when i was a little child. This is a small hidden pearl and a great album favourite of Abba fans plus.A hidden treasure.Glorious chorus that hits you in the face.Lyrics; a philosophical masterpiece.Their ocean of harmonies, a heavensent bliss to the ears.DOPE!
This track had me in tears When I heard it St the livestream announcement of the Voyage album & then the live shows …. Just as well I was sitting or I’d have fallen down with shock !!!! I’ve followed them since the win at the Eurovision Song Contest way back in 1974 at the Dome in Brighton U.K. …… I was lucky enough to see them in. 1979 in Glasgow Scotland 🏴 …… OF COURSE I have a ticket for the new ABBA Voyage show next year in August too … I REALLY CANT WAIT !! I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE the new songs … they are just ABBA sounding clean and pure as they were back in the day too …. No need for much processing, not a sign of an auto tune (swear words when you have artists that are as pitch perfect as they are). The mix of their voices is as clean and pure as it always was and the rest of Voyage will be just as awesome I’m sure ….. ABBA ARE BACK TO STAY !!! I’m sure that I’ll go and see the show more than once during the 4 year run at the new ABBA Arena in London. Good catch on the key change in Don’t Shut Me Down …. It’s subtle but it’s there and that’s another thing they love to do, subtle and vital In some tracks too … Roll on 5th November when the album is released !!! The two songs released so far have all the ABBA trademarks with the piccolos in the background on I Still Have Faith and the snare drums rolling Too then the Benny trademark glissando from top note on the piano to the na bottom as the song shifts gear !!! For the run of shows next year, at least for the first lot of 103 shows released, they are doing the show with a live 10 piece band and the ABBATARS too. They have performed all the songs that the show will have in it and they are doing a run of 103 shows between May-September 2022 at the purpose built ABBA Arena in London’s Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. The presale for those that bought the album on presale was the Sunday after the livestream, the Monday for those on the ABBA Voyage mailing list then Tuesday for the general release. It took me about 20-25 times to secure my ticket on the Sunday morning and there was a number of dates already greyed out as they were sold out. The arena holds just 3000 people so tickets will be sold I think by the end of tomorrow. During the LIVECAST on Thursday they talked about the new album and the show but also showed us them getting ready for the shows and a preview of the light show & it looks STUNNING !! Go to the ABBA Voyage TH-cam channel and you can see the release video and interview with Benny & Bjørn about the show and new album too. They show some of the light show as part of that 30 min or so LIVECAST that was on Thursday 18:00 GMT. I was glued to it myself and screamed the. House down when I heard the full details and show announcements ……. It will have been 42 years since I saw them in Glasgow, Scotland 🏴 (Yes the same city mentioned in Super Trouper)……. I’m counting the minutes already I’m that excited !!!!!!!!
I love these songs of accepting transformation and growth through life, because it's the most natural thing in life to transform and grow. I'd go as far as to say that it IS life as a human. It's not really been accepted to grow older and wiser, though, and ABBAs songs certainly bring in more acceptance into the mix. And I LOVE it! The empowerment these songs bring about it though to make those comeback a success, imho. Thanks, Travis! 🥰🙏
So glad you did this! And as another one said, after this song's ending it leaves you wanting for more.So next time try "Super Trouper','Take a chance on me,''GIMME!GIMME!GIMME!'','SOS','Knowing me knowing you''...and you havent heard anything yet.Theres so much to explore, yet you dont know what you're missing!Give it a try ,we'll be here with you.
Great reaction…thank you!,….both new songs are amazing and a new album coming in November…..ABBA fans are in music heaven!! ABBA are Music Geniuses……there music is timeless!! There are so many great songs besides their big hits….a few: Move On is awesome some other songs: Hey, Hey Helen, One Man One Woman, Eagle, The Winner Takes It All, The Piper and if you really want to hear the ABBA Sound listen to Put On Your White Sombrero……really too many to list just start at the top and play’em all!! Subscribed and will be listening…..you’ll have to read about ABBA’s virtual concert project…..ABBA can’t tour as they are in their 70’s so they will appear as Avatars after performing all the concert songs in motion capture suits in front of 160+ cameras and computer technicians to de-age ABBA and bring their music to old and new fans as they were in their prime in late 70’s early 80’s…..ground breaking really as far as the technology involved….a new arena solely dedicated to this concert “ABBA Arena” being built in London and show opens in May 2022 and will run for at least a couple of years then it could possibly be moved to a new country…. As you can tell I’m a Big ABBA fan but I’ll stop now…. Keep going with ABBA you won’t be disappointed!!
I love how you smiled throughout the video, that’s the ABBA effect. I STRONGLY recommend you do a reaction video to “Monsters” by James Blunt. You won’t regret it, it’s such an emotional song 🎵
The second verse and chorus are also in a higher key. I always recommend The Visitors it's a catchy but dark song. It reminds me of the original War of the worlds soundtrack.
This is the first video of yours I’m watching so might cross over with suggestions for ones you’ve done. Chiquitita, both live at Wembley and official video. There is also Spanish language version they recorded too. Some deep dive tracks I love include, Tiger, I Do I Do I Do I Do I Do, Take A Chance on Me, When All Is Said & Done, People Need Love, Voulez Vous, Super Trouper, Summer Night City, Hasta Mañana, Andante Andante, Honey Honey, The Day Before You Came & If It Wasn’t For The Nights…. Some singles and deep dive tracks there … I’m sure others have suggested the big hitters and singles like Mamma Mia, Thank You For The Music, Dancing Queen etc …..
Travis!!! If you like Agnetha Faltskog you have her solo albums from 1983 1985 1987 and one of this albums is produced by Peter Cetera from Chicago! You can also listen to Never again where she does a duet with Tomas Ledin! We old ABBA fans are absolutely stunned with A
I promise you’d love Benny Andersson’s “Story of a Heart” from 2009. It’s such an abbaesque sound, given he is 1/4 ABBA. I urge you to give it a shot. For any ABBA fans reading this, what do you think of it?
Hi Travis...wanna dance? I like it. Love the sound. Having teeth done. Nothing like you. This song would get everyone up and singing and dancing to their praises. They are a great group. I love their sound. Great message. Ps...thanks for the pics of your buddy. Buckaroo! Hugs....
So, Travis, you said you wanted suggestions for throwback music and I go way back. I want to advocate for an artist who was huge in the 60s but has been criminally forgotten and neglected by reactors, even those who specialise in older music. I speak of none but Dusty Springfield, who, apart from anything else, was instrumental in introducing Motown to the British audience. She was also deported from South Africa for refusing to play at any segregated concerts on her tour there. I think you would love her voice. She has a huge catalogue but I'm not going to inundate you. You may have heard her version of Son of a Preacher Man (recorded in Memphis) or What Have I done to Deserve this (with The Pet Shop Boys), which are obvious first choices but I'd also like to suggest Where Is a Woman to Go? from her last album (recorded in Nashville) 4 years before she died of breast cancer in 1999. Links for those videos are: th-cam.com/video/RInuFNw1Lk0/w-d-xo.html (sulty) th-cam.com/video/Wn9E5i7l-Eg/w-d-xo.html (big fun) and th-cam.com/video/htKms09CVJw/w-d-xo.html (country) On the last one she is backed up by a stellar group of singers from the period including Alison Moyet and Sinead O'Connor, both of whom are worth investigating in their own right. Right, I'm off now before this turns into a 3 volume novel. [edit] About ABBA. I wasn't a big fan back then but I'm really enjoying the new songs.
Try reacting to the following hidden jems (or jams) by ABBA: My Mama Said, Hey Hey Helen, So Long, Me and I, Soldiers, Should I Laugh Or Cry and I Am The City. React to the album versions only and not videos or concerts. My Mama Said and Should I Laugh Or Cry I’ve been listening to them a lot lately 😲
Much better than the first one more upbeat. Pity their reunion will be holograms of them. Check out Andante by ABBA IT was a B side on one of their singles it’s absolutely beautiful. Brilliant reaction smiler 🥰
@@kiangarin maybe but I’m disappointed, when the reunion was announced I was delighted. Then I seen a documentary on how it’ll be done. I felt so disappointed. Loved them since they won the Eurovision in 1974 with Waterloo then loved everything after that.
The reason that they made a comeback at all was because of the avatar thing. It was what inspired them to the new songs and to try to do something new together. Without that I think it would never have happened. They had no interest in doing a tour as 70 year old Abba. So you have to decide whether you are more happy to get new music or more disappointed they did not do a one last tour as themselves that would have been just one thing, and probably very hard to get tickets to, very expensive and just for a few fans.
@@standersson6420 I actually agree with you. I would rather the avatars of the four of them than nothing. I was so excited when I heard reunion then I seen the documentary I was deflated. Still what you said I agree with you makes perfect sense. Main thing is we get to see ABBA again
Real music, the 70's are back.
ABBA have come back with a winning album, no surprises here. The songs are so catchy & well written. Can't wait to see the show too, it should be awesome.
i love their music since then and i am glad to hear it again......
This is classic music, people should listen and learn how proper music should be .

Pure Pop Perfection.
I can see this being a massive hit in the nightclubs of the world
Gay-Nightclubs probably LOL
Hell no…this song is too timeless to be played at a club…
When they start making remixes then ja

It's unbelievable they are all over 70. As a Swede I heard a lot of ABBA as a kid
Just found your channel. Love your genuine and candid rection to this song. I felt same when i first heard it. I was an ABBA fan in early 80s so I felt pretty emotional with this one. Dig your channel.

Awesome made me cry again love this song 🎵 ABBA at there best
Looking ať your face when the song is being played. It says everything. Thank you.
I've heard this and the other track dozens of time and I'm still AMAZED. The new songs are brilliant! Nov. 5 can't come fast enough.

ABBATARS 👍😉
ABBA sing about real things this song is about their past {they did not get on for many years} i think they are saying they have grown and all that does not matter any more.
I love this Song. ❤
Nice Reaction Video! Thank You! ;-) Love Your Smile in the Face 😉 This is ABBA... the best Band on Planet Earth!!!
I just love you're reaction to this new Abba song. 👍
Damn I love this song too. Such a cross-generational band. My grandparents loved them, my mum loves them, i love them. And its played for a new generation in my household. Amazing.
And i should add I wept when I heard this the first time.
HOW LUCKY WE ARE, TO EXPERIENCE ONCE AGAIN, NEW ABBA MUSIC AFTER 39 YEARS. AS A DJ, THIS IS A FLOORFILLER FOR SURE. THE LEGENDARY ABBA SOUND IS BACK💝💝💝💝
I loved your reaction! My favorite Abba song is "The Day Before You Came" Its very haunting.
The big global news of this 21st century for the music world is the return of the legendary Swedish pop group ABBA to the recording studios after more than 35 years (the last was "The day before you came") and the edition of his new songs after 39 years (the last was "Under attack") and a new album after almost 40 years (the last was "The Visitors")
Beyond that these three data are for the Guines Book of records (I believe that No Group or Singer or Artist can come close to these incredible brands), the most remarkable thing is How they returned, with what level of quality And I must say that ABBA overcame all fears, doubts and expectations Their return is shocking and his quality is still valid
"Don't shut me down"
it's another surprise from ABBA
A pop song was expected, but there were reservations and fears for what it could be (and here I include doubts to the voices of the girls due to their age) And we find a magnificent work
The beginning is with Agnetha's voice attacking with the pleasant company of the piano. What Agnetha does in that introduction is anthology, exquisite modulating and using different nuances with her mature voice.
Until Benny's signature piano glint (nod to the mega hit "Dancing Queen") and ABBA's typical pop song is with us, with the fans, because the lyrics speak to us.
and Agnetha assumes that decoding of almost four decades and gives us her beautiful voice as the strings grow and lead to a memorable chorus with Frida reliving the historic third voice of ABBA
But it doesn't end there, the second part adds hooks and a xylophone is added to the bells (a nod to the marimba in "Mamma Mía"), and the pre-chorus has more force with Agnetha and Frida and the violins anticipate the elevation to a chorus triumphant final anthology reminiscent of his greatest hits
And it ends with a soft and sweet Agnetha voice and piano melody (nod to "Thank you for the music")
Thank for your fantástic reaction
and for Your respect to ABBA music
now we waiting for the new album
and see in next ABBA vídeo
GOD bless You
Agnetha's ability to tell such a strong story with her vocals and lyrics is just beyond amazing, when she sings these lyrics at the beginning of the song you can completely visualize every single aspect of the scene... Totally!

I love this new song by Abba and can't wait to hear the album - what I also LOVE is your reaction to it and your totally infectious smile that made me smile watching this!! 😀
I predict you will enter a new reality of the music of ABBA. There’s so much more to come November 5th, an additional EIGHT brand new songs are-a-comin’!
one is a new version of an old demo from 1978 and is out on Friday 22nd as the third single and is called ''Just A Notion ''
I'm really happy you like these songs ! Welcome in ABBA Voyage ! 😉👍
It almost sounds like they picked up where they left off. Excellent!
Its so simple! This song just makes you happy! And you cant get it out of the head, again. In Germany we say its an "Ohrwurm" (engl. ear worm) 🥰
Great reaction video, this song is awesome!. Love from Sweden
You should listen to "Move On". You won't regret it, lyrics and music are so positive and uplifting. It's probably one of their best songs and the arrangements are just great. I'm sure you'll love it! Nice reaction by the way.

It's worth hearing their entire catalog of 8 (now 9) albums. It's quality material.
Been waiting for 40 years...

ABBA. True to themselves. Not trying to be current.

You just discovered their biggest music secret to their success. ”The wall of sound” that they learned from Phil Spector. ✌🏼
I love how you smiled throughout the video, that’s the ABBA effect.
I STRONGLY recommend you do a reaction video to “Monsters” by James Blunt.
You won’t regret it, it’s such an emotional song 🎵
Great reaction! I like your smiling like the sun :-):-):-)
Great reaction! I so love this song! ABBA is still ABBA but better.
The second verse and chorus are also in a higher key.
I always recommend The Visitors it's a catchy but dark song. It reminds me of the original War of the worlds soundtrack.

HEY YOU ARE GREAT- I AM AN ABBA FAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Best song on album by a mileeeeeeeee.
I promise you’d love Benny Andersson’s “Story of a Heart” from 2009. It’s such an abbaesque sound, given he is 1/4 ABBA. I urge you to give it a shot. For any ABBA fans reading this, what do you think of it?
ABBA is Organic.
This is the best on the album
Travis, please react to all the new ABBA songs as they come out of the new album,VOYAGE !!!
This Song is amazing
Hi Travis...wanna dance? I like it. Love the sound. Having teeth done. Nothing like you. This song would get everyone up and singing and dancing to their praises. They are a great group. I love their sound. Great message. Ps...thanks for the pics of your buddy. Buckaroo! Hugs....
You have just started….So glad you like them….so hold on…you haven’t heard anything yet…😁
ABBA back & pull your emotion out.
That song about them self
Gorgeous ♥

On the last one she is backed up by a stellar group of singers from the period including Alison Moyet and Sinead O'Connor, both of whom are worth investigating in their own right.
Right, I'm off now before this turns into a 3 volume novel.
[edit] About ABBA. I wasn't a big fan back then but I'm really enjoying the new songs.
That's call a "good reaction" !!👍👍👍
Try reacting to the following hidden jems (or jams) by ABBA: My Mama Said, Hey Hey Helen, So Long, Me and I, Soldiers, Should I Laugh Or Cry and I Am The City. React to the album versions only and not videos or concerts. My Mama Said and Should I Laugh Or Cry I’ve been listening to them a lot lately 😲
My Mama Said and Should I Laugh or Cry are top notch ABBA. :)
super great news abba songs
Ooohh, poor you, you don't know the depth of the rabbit hole you've just entered. Good luck!
I would have loved to SEE them sing this
Yay. We converted another one!!!
Wonderful!! maybe check out "The Piper " ??
Much better than the first one more upbeat. Pity their reunion will be holograms of them. Check out Andante by ABBA IT was a B side on one of their singles it’s absolutely beautiful. Brilliant reaction smiler 🥰
They aren’t holograms, they’re motion captured performances filmed last year - when we see them on stage it will feel every bit a concert on steroids!
@@kiangarin maybe but I’m disappointed, when the reunion was announced I was delighted. Then I seen a documentary on how it’ll be done. I felt so disappointed. Loved them since they won the Eurovision in 1974 with Waterloo then loved everything after that.
@@Cath1027 But how to fulllfill the demand ? Wembley -79 6 nights available 50 000 demand 1 500 000. I think they could sell 100 000 000 tickets today
😍
The music speaks for itself. Comments and wiggling are not needed. Everyone should form their own opinion.
...so why did you watch it?
