You need to get yourself to the ABBA ARENA & the magnificent show they have there for you !!! I caught it in the first month it was open and it was magnificent !!! I caught them in Glasgow waaay back in 1979 when I was just 8. My aunt took me, cousin and a friend of mine too and they were just brilliant !!! What a show and the new one with the ABBAtars … WOW !! Just as brilliant and a live band too !!! Just adds to the atmosphere and excitement of the show too !!!

My old friends are back after 40 years. I thank God I'm still alive to see it. I have been a hardcore ABBA fan since 1975 and was so sad when they broke up in 1981. Now 2021, I feel like a teenager again listening to their wonderful music once more. Thank you ABBA for coming to our rescue with your great music at the time when we needed it the most. Not one single second too soon.
Im glad you were alive to see it too, my grandmother died 2 years ago at 79 and she listened to ABBA since they were formed, im so sad she missed this release by a few months but hopefully shes listening through me

True, but the best and most upbeat songs were already released as singles so the rest were part from maybe one weren't dance tracks. Sure ABBA do all types but I would have preferred a couple more upbeat tempo songs like this which is the best for me.
@@Muckylittleme I disagree... "When You Danced with Me", "Keep an Eye on Dan" and "No Doubt About It" are upbeat. There's a perfect mixture of up-tempo and slow tracks on Voyage as a whole. 50-50 in fact if you analyse the whole album.
The album is pure Abba. If you were expecting it to be anything less, then you will be disappointed. It has combination Arrival, The Album, super trouper and the visitors all wrapped up together. It’s just Abba. True fans will love this album and every song.
The other songs are lyrically weak imo. I like the music for Keep An Eye On Dan. But the lyrics can be so much better. I would have preferred just the two initial release rather than the album

When you listen to ABBA's music, you are moved, happy, emotional and melancholy in your soul. Now that I see how many people around the world are taking the music to their to grips and being influenced by it, I am convinced that we can all unite around the world. We're not so different, we're the same as people. We can stop fighting, destroy, argue and be greedy, but instead help each other so that man can be happy again. The big global news of this 21st century for the music world is the return of the legendary Swedish pop group ABBA to the recording studios after more than 35 years (the last was "The day before you came") and the edition of his new songs after 39 years (the last was "Under attack") and a new album after almost 40 years (the last was "The Visitors") Beyond that these three data are for the Guines Book of records (I believe that No Group or Singer or Artist can come close to these incredible brands), the most remarkable thing is How they returned, with what level of quality And I must say that ABBA overcame all fears, doubts and expectations Their return is shocking and his quality is still valid "Don't shut me down" it's another surprise from ABBA A pop song was expected, but there were reservations and fears for what it could be (and here I include doubts to the voices of the girls due to their age) And we find a magnificent work The beginning is with Agnetha's voice attacking with the pleasant company of the piano. What Agnetha does in that introduction is anthology, exquisite modulating and using different nuances with her mature voice. Until Benny's signature piano glint (nod to the mega hit "Dancing Queen") and ABBA's typical pop song is with us, with the fans, because the lyrics speak to us. and Agnetha assumes that decoding of almost four decades and gives us her beautiful voice as the strings grow and lead to a memorable chorus with Frida reliving the historic third voice of ABBA But it doesn't end there, the second part adds hooks and a xylophone is added to the bells (a nod to the marimba in "Mamma Mía"), and the pre-chorus has more force with Agnetha and Frida and the violins anticipate the elevation to a chorus triumphant final anthology reminiscent of his greatest hits And it ends with a soft and sweet Agnetha voice and piano melody (nod to "Thank you for the music") Thank for your great reaction and for Your respect to ABBA music (now we have the new album "Voyage") see in next ABBA vídeo GOD bless You

All great songs on Voyage & yes they have done it again. Listen to track 10 Ode To Freedom, a very moving song, so dreamlike, the sound is just phenomenal & this is what ABBA are known for. Have the CD but have my vinyl copy on order right now.

I expected the unexpected and I got it. Thank you. I thought from the wee thumbnail of your video that you were female, so that was unexpected. I also expected an amateurish reaction but again what I got was different. It was very professional, and you have an excellent voice for radio and a face for television. They've been working together for 50 years, and B&B have worked together since 1966 which is really rather a long time ago. No one had been to the moon in 1966. Colour TV came to the BBC in 1967. Want to blown away by one of ABBA's best songs ever, one millions have never ever heard before!? Get the 1993 album 'More ABBA Gold' out on which you'll find a 'previous unreleased' track called: 'I Am The City' This song is by far one of their best because of its intense build up in which the vocal challenges are fenominal! The lyrics are something of a speeding train at times, with most instruments and 'gimmicks' used to create an atmosphere as to be on a busy street somewhere where all traffic and people pass you by. And the lyrics.. well: there's hardly a repetition of any line in there (it took me nearly a week to get them memorized, as we had no internet back then, I couldn't look them up, and keep up with them) and the words go on and on in such a frenzy you may run out of breath whike singing along with them! I'm eager to see your reaction when the song reaches: "The famous hotels, and the public parks, and the funny smell, and the turmoil of cars, and the people, the air that you're breathing, it's me!' The only reason someone will not like Voyages is because it deals with such mature subject matter. The lyrics are very adult. The music however is still as masterful as it ever was and their voices are as perfect as always.
No it doesnt break any new ground! Wasnt suppose to. You either like the sound of the band or you dont. I personally was blown away by how wonderful the musical arrangements were on many of the songs and how wonderful a couple of 70 plus year old women can still sound together.
