nice video - lovely to see the 57's in daylight
Departure sounds different to the earlier video because the loco is a Class 57,a rebuild of a Class 47 with a GM engine.The loco in the 1992 version is a Class 47 with original Sulzer engine.
Nice to see that the 2008 sleeper has 5 sleeper cars compared to 3 in 1992! sign of growth
When I was in newquay summer 2008 they was 1 there too, exactly the same. Odd I know.
In 92 I think they used to detach 2 sleepers at Plymouth

the 47 seemed to pull away faster in 1992 with a heaveier load ie dead loco! better thrash as well! brill comparison! long live the class 47!
