I did this with jute twine and thinned Elmer’s glue that I had in my stash. My first one was wonky so I stuffed it with plastic grocery bags. Plus they store well stuffed. Thanks for the basic idea.
The trees are beautiful (even the one that had gaps in the yard). Such a smart idea to wrap the tree forms in plastic wrap so they can be reused! Loved this video.
So glad I found you your channel. I love tree’s . So beautiful the tree’s. I’m definitely gonna use a tree frame I have to do something similar . Thank you for sharing and explaining. And such new high end trees DIY’s! Wow! Gorgeous DIY’s!❤️
I soooo ❤ this. My decor is white/silver and this would go GREAT and I will definitely make room somewhere in my home to showcase it! 😊Thank you. This was an awesome tutorial!
Never used mod podge dies it dry white or clear I know thats a silly question since it's white but wondering if it's more like a glue appearance once dried if that makes sense

Thank you for your comment. I’m hopeful I’ll get there one day 🥰🤗
I agree!
I wrap mine on styrofoam cones, one string right after the other. Your's are nice!
You can also do with styrofoam trees. Wrap them in plastic and Modge podge
I made my cone and used yarn from thrift store. I made my glue also. Cheap!
Omg ! They are beautiful so bling & glam !!

Love 💕 ❤it
Im going try this but i want to try it with cement. So it can last longer
I tried this with a styrofoam cone, tree looks good, but i can’t get the cone out!!
Would a paper Mâché cone work better?
how hard are the trees when they are done.? we tried it but they are not hard /flimsy ?
I’m having the same issue. Wondering if I added too much water to the mp. I’m going to try another coat of straight mod podge and see if that helps.
Did it help. Ours did the same thing
What mod podge do you use
Does this work if all you can find is foam cones?
Yes, I see why not 😊. I believe any kind of “tree” shaped mold will work, as long as you have the other components- plastic wrap, yarn, mod podge etc
Never used mod podge dies it dry white or clear I know thats a silly question since it's white but wondering if it's more like a glue appearance once dried if that makes sense
My plastic wrap wouldn't come out. What did I do wrong??
Not sturdy. Did you use a specific yarn.? Would glue work better? And twine?
