Ordered and very happy with purchase. Nice finish and quality, with no gap on the ends of the center garnish, as you see even on some oem grilles. Reinstalling the upper section was a little trickier than shown but overall, fairly easy. 👍🏼
Ordered a grill after seeing this video. Great product. Fast and easy installation, I prefer the screws being used to mount the letters. Took me 30mins to install no problems. This video basically covers all the steps. My 2017 TRD Off Road looks nice with the new grill.

The letters being mounted can become a problem if they were already installed when you received the order. Couple screws were stripped upon receipt and I thought covering with 3m tape provided would do the trick. It didn’t the letter still came Loose and pulled away from center piece after install. Wish I could share a picture.
I like that you do not have to use the letters if you do not want to... this is true correct? It is nice and smooth on the front if you do not drill it out?

The con for me though is the application of the letters. I like the idea of this version being screwed in rather than 3M tape. I purchased the Car Trim Home version because it cost less and was reviewed well with several videos made by customers. I don’t doubt the Taco Vinyl version is good quality but like I said, my decision was based on reviews and price. I’ve had it on for 8 months now with absolutely no issues. It’s held up very well to a brutal southern summer and a rough winter.
Well I’m back and not one to have a problem admitting when I’m wrong. The finish on the car trim home version grille I purchased has started to flake off. Looks like I’ll be buying one from Taco Vinyl. Do you all have any sort of warranty for your grilles?
Can you do a video for the 2020-2021 grill. I just installed mine and it created large gaps on the upper painted grill sections. You guys told me to take a dremel and trip the valence piece. Can you guys make a video on that modification.

@@Lando4534 i watched the video several times prior and during my install. Followed it step by step. Video was informative but i am not happy with the results. I think this product is incomplete as i am asked to modify it by the company so that it will fit correctly. I would not have purchased it had i known it would cause a significant gap when reinstalling the upper piece of the grill. Others have noted the same issue on the 4Runner forum.

I asked him the same questions I asked you and now his comment is deleted. I'm not sure if HE deleted it or if the video owner did it. I even wrote the company about this issue because I wanted to make sure that it fit well without modification and the company TOLD me that he just had a defective unit. Taking the fact that you are reporting the same issue (along with others on forums) is preventing me from buying this grille.
Hey guys! Some peoples grilles fit tighter than other on that upper section and have had to trim back the black center piece for it to sit completely flush. Make the mark before you remove it and then use a tool to remove that piece. I’d recommend using a dremel. Sorry I didn’t see these comments. My install went terrible. The sides of the part that is supposed to stick are about 1/2 inch from touching the painted piece. So now liquid and dirt will get in there and eventually ruin it
Having issues with this. I've installed the heritage grill but that upper mesh grill piece will not snap in now unless I file everything down, not even pushing down with a screwdriver. Is that normal, bad fit, or did I do something wrong?
I think NO lettering would look sharp too. Especially on that Super White. Im gonna save this video and see about getting one fo these in the future. good stuff dudes!
What tools do you need to prepare to replace it was planning on buying from taco vinyl, just want to buy the tools first before i order the grill so ihave it all ready please let me know the tools i should get, btw i have 2021 toyota 4 runner with the sensor on the front
If you kept your old parts you could definitely reverse it. Just need a good adhesive remover like goof off to clean up the tape residue. It shouldn't harm the paint.

Well done! I have a 2020 TRD Pro (Army Green) and I really want to change the color of the TOYOTA letters to either White or Army Green. Have you ever had to actually remove a factory Pro Grille and reinstall a different one in order to do that? I know I could probably try to paint them in place, but that seems like it would be a nightmare. My biggest concern is removing the current factory center section. I'm not sure how well they are stuck on there.
There is no radiator mount for the 2020-21 due to the version of the grille. Might be something we add in the future. The grille still fits great. We have it installed on our 2021

Save your time and money and go with someone else for Toyota parts. Ordered their Pro Grille Kit which comes in two different versions: the 2014-2019 model years and 2020-up model years. I own a 2014 4runner and ordered the 2014-2019 kit. After 3 weeks, my package arrived half opened since it wasn't safely packed. According to website, the kit comes with 3M mounting tape and adhesive primer, which were missing. But what's most ridiculous is that they have sent me a 2020-up model kit which doesn't fit my vehicle, which I realized after I have removed my factory front grille. I checked my order many times to see if I ordered the wrong kit but it says 2014-2019 on all my confirmations. Messaged them and no response. Called them and no one picks up, but it seems they have time to post on Instagram. Toyota parts can be pricey and we all work hard to get our dream built. Stay away!! I will be purchasing my parts from other vendors from now on.
WHY does the owner of this video delete comments they see as "unfavorable"? Any company who deletes negative comments on their products seems shady. No we delete comments that aren’t applicable to the install. For example the additional screws aren’t needed anymore so we delete those to avoid confusion. Everyone install experience is a bit different so if we feel like it’s a useful comment that can help, we will keep it otherwise people get lost in the rabbit hole of opinions and suggestions of others. Your fitment on the 2021 is actual trash large gaps in overlay insert barley fits and nooks back the upper grill and the backer for the radiator support only accommodates 2 screws as it isnt tall enough to hold the middle ones order arrived after a month and the “adhesive promotion wipes” were totally dry. 0/10 product quality
Hello Jordan, sorry to hear you had a bad experience install our grille. If you’d like to call us, I’d be more than happy to walk you through some steps that help with better fitment. Sometimes these grilles can be tricky to install. And if the wipes are dry, use rubbing alcohol to clean the surface and you’ll be good.

With 3 years of selling them we’ve never had someone say, mine has faded any different than the OEM one.

The one from CarTrim home is cheaper and there's a reason for it..I had one on mine and got rid of it pretty quickly because of the poor fitment.

No I’d definitely remove it for the best results. Using a heat gun helps a ton

Online OEM garnish and and nameplate are around $400.00
Here are the part numbers: PZ323-35058 and PZ327-35056, that's all you will need, order them online from your dealership, ~ $500

Just a grounding loop to crimp on the ground. We send the an add a fuse and you’ll need the fuses for it

This is the upper piece it won’t hurt the TSS, which is on the lower piece.
