A unique layout with 5 cabins which do not compromise on the giant salon, a practical galley, a huge walk-though cockpit and generous storage capacity for everything you need to live-aboard year around. This is basically the one boat out there that can make it possible for families who can't find anything to sail around the world without being on top of each other, or alternatively for a group of friends to go set sail together in search of the most perfect surf breaks and who need privacy from one another as well as a ton of room for their gear.
Torea VI is the happy home of the most extraordinary family we have met! @sailingwithsix (Look them up on Instagram and check their TH-cam videos!) We are all madly in awe of them and of course of their boat, which has just now hit the market as they decided that it was time for them to look for a catamaran. It was a tough decision as they adore their boat and know they can trust her no matter what, but with a dad working remotely, all four kids home-schooled and two of them fast becoming teenagers, it is time to look for something larger.
This beautiful boat is brought to you in turnkey condition, with two subsequent owners, (her previous French family who sailed her to Australia with a bunch of kids too, and her current family), who both continually improved on her design to suit her to serious offshore cruising and independence when living on board.
(Please note this boat is now sold and the family is off to Mexico to purchase their next boat, but a very interesting video to watch if you seek inspiration on how to fit out a similar boat for live-aboard living and independent world cruising, especially with a large family!).

An amazing way to live! I’m about to begin my retirement on a 42’ Island Packet Centre cockpit/aft cabin - I can’t wait for spring and I’m off! Starting on Lake Erie in the Great Lakes, first destination - winter in the Caribbean!

Yes, these kids are really incredible! You should see them out kite surfing and surfing like little champs and yet so humble and easy going. Extraordinary!

Sailing around the globe with a large family is an extraordinary enterprise that only extraordinary people carry out. A big fan of @sailingwithsix, I'm unsurprised that you declared them "the most extraordinary family we have met!". Having done considerable review of sailing channels, I declare @sailingwithsix to be the most enjoyable one there is. It features great locations, fine videography, energetic exploration and recreation, engaging liveaboard experience, and first-rate editing, but most importantly, this enthusiastic, lovable family. Sailing life is demanding enough, but Kris and Shona have found the time to contribute to the world four fine characters and a unique video documentary.
Captain Q and Nautilus the only "sailing" channels to watch....nice little ship for a small family.

What happened to the first five Toreas?
😅 It just means that there were 4 other Toreas registered in Australia so they had to pick a higher number if they still wanted to use the name. Very popular name!

Wait.... Pumpkins?!? You keep potatoes, onions, and..... PUMPKINS in the fridge?!? Why?!?
Bahaha! technically it's a crisper, but if there is room for more hardy veggies then it's good to have somewhere to put them. Don't forget it's about 32 degrees minimum every day at the moment, and about 95% humidity. Even pumpkins will start to suffer in this weather. ☺️

Shouldn't the children be at school??
They will not be able to do basic math, but they will have great swimming stories to tell. They will also miss on lifetime friendships normally made at this age.

Some of the most accomplished, educated & successful people were not forced to attend part time imprisonment facilities for the purposes of forced indoctrination on account of the convenience of profit / theft operations & processes.
