Our farm has owned plenty of Fendt over the years, the 824, first 930 and 820 are my favorites. Our 820 have close to 25k hours now. I still use it on ourMchale fusion baler, love that tractor. 824 is like my baby, not many people get to drive that.

Thanks Austin for this cool video! I guess the one particular 1167 we will get to know in detail pretty soon. Interesting would be to see who is using the others and how they will do.
Very impressive to see so many big tractors at once, great video! The reason for not letting the air alongside the engine is that the air is hot and the temperature of it isn't constant after passing the coolers. By guiding the hot air directly out of the machine there should be better conditions for the engine to work. It's easier to control the temperatures of many parts of the engine when there is no massive airflow with changing temperatures under the hood.
Nice video 🤟🏻. About the fan/radiator arrangement: It's not an air cooled engine so you actually don't want the warm air coming out of the radiator to flow around the engine. That's why they installed that shield to make the air escape to the side/top.
This ain’t Europe... we have a 620 Quad with PTO never used it once. Owned it for going 4 years. Most of our bigger tractors just pull tillage that’s it.
Fendt in Canada is giving JD a real challenge, over here in South Australia, Case, and JD are the main players. Fendt has not really got much of a share of the market. I would like to have a go in one..
I like the 1167 Fendt but don’t love it... (we have 4 Case Quads 3 2019 620’s and one 2021 470 Quad) We are currently demoing a 1167 on one of our 67’ Field cultivators. It’s pulls just fine.... but we have mud and soft soil in spots it don’t like it like a Quad. Overall it’s a nice machine (better that the 9570 JD we demoed last spring... that thing was rough) but we’re probably gonna stick to 4 tracks.
Faith Hope Farms ... never heard of her 😁😁😁 really looking forward to Mike's thoughts on that beast! Does anyone know if the 1167's are already equipped with the new air pressure self cleaning air filters?

can anybody please explain to me why they space the tracks out? whats the reason for that, its not like they are row crop tractors right? there has got to be a legit reason for that, iam genuinley wondering
Hi Austin, ..... great shot at the end of Mike's old and new tractor. 😉 Btw, do you know the difference on the MAN 16.2L - D4276 engine for the FENDT MT1167 which has a range of 612-700 hp and the same MAN D4276 engine for the FENDT IDEAL-10 with 790 hp, is it tuned up or has it a totally different setup by inner parts and transmission. Greetings from the Netherlands. 👋
Thanks for the comment! I’m not exactly sure how different they are, however I think it is how the horsepower is used if that makes sense. If they are the same engine it would be difference in tuning for sure. I think mainly why one is so much higher is the difference between tractors and combines in how they use the hp. Putting horsepower through a transmission to the ground is way different than putting the hp through gearboxes, belts, and hydraulics like on a combine. That’s my thinking but I could be completely wrong also! I hope that helps and greetings from Sask! 🌾
These are designed by AGCO and are available through the parts system if you are wanting to put some on an older machine. You will need to drill and tap a 1/4" or M6 hole in the wheel to attach it, and the part number is 597346D3 (or might be a D2) for a wide drive wheel and 597347D2 for the medium.
Yup all the two tracks and new Fendt RoGator sprayers are all made in the Jackson MN plant! Then all the front wheel assist Fendt tractors are made in Marktoberdorf Germany!

I agree with that C18 CAT engine being awesome however I don’t believe it was AGCO’s choice, they sadly got forced to move away from CAT engines due to emissions issues.
