@@dr.floridamanphd Do you know how to abuse the dawnstar chest? 1st loot it (I normally grab enchanted items, gold, soul gems, precious gems, alchemy ingredients) next either sell (blacksmiths downhill running to caravan) or disenchant (jarl building). If selling, quick save then hurt/noon either the blacksmith or his wife, reload to reset inventory. After all done, quick save in front of the khajiit caravan merchant, hurt/noon the merchant reload, talk to merchant to update inventory. Rinse and repeat as needed.
You can use scaly phonliota, dragons tongue, and fly amonita for a slightly less valuable potion, but avoiding the annoying creep cluster harvest mechanics. As a bonus you can go 12|15|15 for 60 of each ingredient and have 2 free planting spots (can do bonus scaly and dragons bane because fly amonita is very common)
Survival Mode tips: * Crops are available for manual harvest 24 hours after first planting. They will only start generating revenue if you leave them planted past this point, but clearing the planter and replanting the crop will get you a higher net yield per day, useful for getting your initial stock of plantable items to grow into full production faster. * If you're desperate for food early on (rushed the farm too early instead of looting the free barrels and sacks from Helgen through Whiterun), leeks can be grilled at the cooking pot to restore 18 hunger each. Snowberries are the most space-efficient, with each manual harvest of a single plot providing enough for 2 crostatas. You will need 6 wheat for every 2 crostatas you make, so 3 wheat plots (12 wheat/4 flour per harvest) and 2 snowberry plots (8 snowberries) will make 4 snowberry crostatas per harvest. You can also clear the planter and replant the crops to make them available again after only 24 hours, but this changes the ratios because it uses up 1 of the ingredients. You'll need 3 wheat plots (9 net yield per day) and 2 snowberry plots (6 net yield per day) to make 3 snowberry crostatas per day. I would only recommend this if you're averse to ignoring Riften for up to 10 days at a time to let the fish barrels outside the city respawn, since salmon steak weighs half as much as a crostata. * You'll need to collect garlic and bread all over Skyrim (or use your own salt + farm yield to bake bread), but garlic bread can be baked in the kitchen. They cure disease, have the same weight as hawk feathers, also restore 220 hunger, and are obviously much easier to acquire in bulk than said feathers.

Incidentally, the 162% regeneration rate will be applied to this boosted total, so you can regenerate an enormous amount of magicka over those 5 seconds, especially if combined with the Ring of the Erudite. Alternatively, fast travel to morthal, head east, go into the myrwatch player house from anniversary and go upstairs. On the small farming plot, you can just grab a creep cluster, mora tapinella, and scaly pholiota.
Grab the Staff in the small dome ruins just east or Morthal to get early zombies. Not sure if patched, but the bodies dont turn to ash after they expire. Great early on.
I did this method myself as well and it sure is great. If you have a family living on the farm your spouse opens up a store, so you can sell potions to your spouse. If that spouse happens to be a skill trainer, even better. :)

You get quite some bonuses which are especially practical for Survival Mode gameplay, such as better sleep bonuses with spouse snd children in the house, a steady income (spouse opens up a store) and the home cooked meal that the spouse can make you daily: food is a necessity and the 5 minute long magicka, health and stamina recovery is amazing, especially since It stacks with other regeneration methods (lady stone, or Histskin power if you're an argonian) as in Survival Mode your health no longer regenerate.
You can just take skill training gold back** from any current follower (eg Aela) by trading items with them, rather than having to buy it back from their vendor inventory. Spouses who are trainers but cannot be followers: * Dravynea the Stoneweaver (Expert Alteration) * Ghorza gra-Bagol (Common Smithing) * Balimund (Common Smithing) * Revyn Sadri (Common Speech) * Scouts-Many-Marshes (Common Light Armor) Ghorza, Balimund, and Scouts are all very solid choices for helping reduce the skill grind.😊 **Unless you have the unofficial patch, in which case they nerfed this exploit because they hate fun 😛
Been doin' this since Hearthfire, just on a smaller scale. Well, I haven't done this in a while at all but I used to. I don't power-level or grind at all anymore. Found unobtrusive methods for leveling the crafting skills as I go; I still farm potions in my Hearthfire houses but only potions I'll use as I go. Fortify are absolute godsends when they're regularly available and all 5 can be farmed if you get Windstadt Manor. For enchanting, simply making regular use of magic weapons, particularly staves, goes a long way on its own since every recharge is more enchanting XP. Smithing is, unsurprisingly, the most obnoxious but by buying the appropriate raw materials and enhancing the weapons and armor you loot from enemies before you sell them, you make steady progress. If you've got soulgems to spare, you can enchant them too but I find you rarely have gems to spare. Good luck with your crafting and entrepreneurial endeavors, everybody. 😁👍
Smithing is pretty easy. Just make Iron Daggers until you hit Smithing 30, get the Dwarven Smithing perk then go clear a Dwarven ruin. (The one inside Markarth is great.) Just grab as much smeltable Dwarven struts and whatever, melt them down at a Smelter, then start making Dwarven bows. Once you've got enough (say 40-50), you can then get a decent Smithing boost simply by improving the bows over and over.
@@Griezz Nails are cheaper to make for only slightly less xp if you're gonna do the hard grind that way. I'll stick to my method. It's not fast but it's steady and does very little to take me away from dungeon-crawling. It's just obnoxious in that it *is* slow and doesn't start to turn profitable for a fair while.
Facts: All ya need is to reduce difficulty to Novice and Pulse fire the Flame spell from both hands simultaneously without the dual casting perk - so long as you hit em whilst they're on fire..
I.got a weird thing here: I did everything in the tutorial but when looking for the farm it went wrong: theres no farm? I followed it 6 times and keep up ending in an empty plain
The Barrels in Goldenhills' basement are not safe for storage. I was away from the location for a few weeks and the content of the two Barrels on the left of the basement got completely respawned. Those on the right seemed find though. What is that with those CC houses? First Myrwarch inventory got bugged and now this one.
All of the player homes in the Creation Club are incredibly sloppy work. The weapon mounts and other displays often bug out, several containers (like those two barrels) aren't tagged as non-respawning, and some of the houses don't register properly as homes for children/pets. Trying to move family into the home can also get them permanently stuck in place or even make them permanently vanish from the world. 😔
NOTE: the barrels outside the secret Alchemy area in Goldenhills Plantation's basement are NOT "safe". However, once the house is fully fitted, the chests, reagent bag and the barrel in the Alchemy area ARE safe, as are the cabinets and chests in the upper bedroom area.

It sucks when the farm plots bug on ya, mine would not grow the creep clusters at all, tried many things and could never get them to grow. ended up gathering those elsewhere to make a decent portion my my gold.
Yeaaaaaaah as if any merchant will have anywhere near the cash to buy more than one by the time Alchemy is maxed. You want fast cash via irl time, do blisterwart, haggling for everything in a merchant's inventory them selling him the potions takes forever and leaves you with an inventory mess, or the slap and reload trick adds up in time.
You're complaining about cleaning out an entire merchants inventory with one pot? Lmao, you don't have to min max like this. I have one side wet up with the money making ingredients and the other two side with canis root and deathbell for OP paralysis poisons. Priorities mate.
Thieves' guild fences go up to 4k if you do all the guild special missions and 5k if you pick up the master trader speech perk. They can buy a couple each unless you take all 5 levels in haggling. You want a pot nobody can buy for full price: salmon roe + nord barnacle + garlic (which sounds like a tasty thing to consume in a different configuration). Made one worth over 11k once upon a time.
I can do infinite gold in vanilla _Skyrim..._ just do woodcutting and sell to Hod in Riverwood, or any of the hold capital innkeepers... probably takes longer, though.
I think it was kryptopyr's "Complete Crafting Overhaul" that made Woodchoping Blocks the same as Clay-/Stone-Deposits where you can do them infinetly until you manually tell you Charakter to stop. This way you can woodchop outside the bannered mare in Whiterun and go to sleep or buy groceries or something and then sell all those 100s of Firewood xD (Still slow af xD)
Just do the fortify restoration loop and you'll have 100 alchemy/enchanting/smithing in like 30min. On top of more money than you can even get(each potion is worth like millions).
Hi, I purchased Skyrim Anniversary Edition on disk for Xbox One. Made several characters. When I go to Rorikstead, there is no wheat & sickle symbol or Golden Hills Farm at all east of town. Can anyone tell me how to make the farm appear?
I know this question might have been answered but do your farmhands harvest the ingredients to the same magnitude as you can harvest them yourself? Like do they get 5 out of each ingredient and 3 in the other one? Is it 1-1 ratio thus decreasing gains
I put blisterwort. Then collected 2000 gold to complete the quest. Then I did questlines and stuff and collected 100k gold with only 2 collects now I’m at 160k
I made 500,000 gold by selling 2000 SAP potions to ysolda using the duplication glich. I wish there was ingredients to make the SAP potions so I can grow plants from it to work it passive and not depending on the glitch cuz is time consuming.

No one with probably read this but i have a problem with this method (ps5 version). None of the vendors have enough money i mean im not waiting ages to make money. So what if you have a stewardess and just growing and collecting profits from them?
Eventually, with high enough (enchantment boosted) Alchemy and high enough Speech/Barter, there will be potions worth more than any merchant in the game can afford to pay, even with full Speech perks to increase their available gold. But by then, you should be absolutely loaded and should only care if you're throwing loads of money at vendor trainers to grind high level skills.

reset the game and shut restarted my xbox and such and was not fixed had to load a save at the start when getting out so i lost 8 levels that i did legit and not glitches or anything
it doesn't give you map markers for most of it. also if you take the kid's wooden sword before that part you break the quest. if you do it like he did in the video it should be fine.
You can though. Just not all of the food items. Skyrim's climate is all wrong for tomatoes, so you can't plant them, but potato, cabbage, leeks, and a few others are all game.
It's a shame that apples and tomatoes (and many alchemy ingredient plants) can't be farmed, but there have been mods for that (for Hearthfire) for ages. They should presumably work with Goldenhills, since it just uses the Hearthfire fertile soil objects.
Update: I have used several mods that add more plantables, and even tweaked some of them. Since they really mostly on FormLists and could theoretically just use the regular wildlife flora models, I imagine you could get mods for them on some console platforms. They might have to get a bit creative to do tomato vines or garlic or whatever, but I dunno what's possible in PS5 modding regarding creation of models using existing assets.
These potions suck the nordic barnacle potions are worth about 1600 and they come with roughly 6 effects I think it is but the recipe was barnacle dwarven oil and salt or barnacle salt and spriggan sap it was. Plenty of free ingredients jus goin bak n forth fast travel to college from markarth or from run by whites aka white run which has the same definition based on anglo saxon word mechanics (wyrd for the educated who know of the wyrd sisters aka weird sisters aka the reason all bad things happen in three) used by “english speakers” aka angleish speakers bcuz of free masons and their infinite angle based philosophy. They use a right angle which is a thing and also an actual lesson bcuz anything can be conquered using the right angle of attack. They play on wyrds all the time and have different meanings besides wut u think for everything. They have their own language within languages and its actually fascinating as fuk to really sit n think about the blatant connection between this specific game and reality.

I don't know why over half your comment was irrelevant ranting about linguistics, but the point of making potions with plantable ingredients is the ability to make them in bulk. It takes a long time to gather 100 barnacles, and then they won't be back for 10+ in-game days and you have to avoid all those areas out to a pretty sizable distance for fear of resetting the 10-30 day respawn timer for that cell. Meanwhile, one can grow 44-176 of any planter crop in 24 hours, not including extra pantry yield.
Why the hell would anybody want that?! In a game that already throws way too much money at the player? Install Trade and Barter, Scarcity - Less Loot Mod, Gold Adjustment etc. instead, if you want a good gaming experience!

(Due to bugs in a game not running unofficial patches, Fortify Marksman actually adds damage to nearly all weapon attacks, not just bows. This potion is also great for Survival Mode, because it potentially restores more health over a 5 minute duration than an equivalent instant healing potion, which can save carry weight)
Spider Antidote
* Grass Pod + Snowberries + Thistle Branch
* Resist Poison + Resist Frost
Dragon Repellent
* Dragon's Tongue + Snowberries + Thistle Branch
* Resist Fire + Resist Frost
Strength of Iron
* Blisterwort + Glowing Mushroom + Wheat
* Fortify Health + Restore Health + Fortify Smithing
Tonic of Arkay
* Blue Mountain Flower + Wheat
* Fortify Health + Restore Health
(The well known classic, probably the most used 2 ingredient Hearthfire potion)
Honorable mention goes to one potion that requires collecting salmon roe, ideally either by shouting angrily at waterfalls or shouting angrily at your own fishery at Windstad.
Magnus' Intervention
* Jazbay Grapes + Purple Mountain Flower + Salmon Roe
* Regenerate Magicka + Fortify Magicka + Restore Stamina
(What makes this potion special is that, without any unofficial patches at least, salmon roe has an extremely high Fortify Magicka magnitude, but it only lasts for a scant 5 seconds. With full Alchemy perks and 116% Fortify Alchemy, this potion increases your available magicka pool by an enormous 1620 points for 5 seconds! Incidentally, the 162% regeneration rate will be applied to this boosted total, so you can regenerate an enormous amount of magicka over those 5 seconds, especially if combined with the Ring of the Erudite. Alternatively, this allows for the casting of Master spells without massive cost reduction.)
And if you're the sneaky type, there's more than just Mist of Nocturnal you can take advantage of. Numerous useful poisons exist, for both the bounty hunter and the deadly assassin to make use of... I'll share my favorites in another reply. :)
Magebane
* Blue Mountain Flower + Nightshade + Red Mountain Flower
* Damage Magicka Regen + Damage Health
(A favorite of my witchhunters, note this will also prevent a dragon from using its breath shout once its magicka is depleted)
Warrior's Bane

Warrior's Bane (alternate)
* Bleeding Crown + Juniper Berries + Wheat
* Damage Stamina Regen + Weakness to Fire

* Paralysis + Lingering Damage Health
(At high Alchemy levels, the paralysis effect will outlast the lingering damage effect. This is best used on the strongest enemy, to incapacitate and very heavily damage them while you kill their weaker comrades. Note that some enemies, like dragons, are immune to paralysis)
Wizard Trap
* Canis Root + Purple Mountain Flower + Swamp Fungal Pod
* Paralysis + Lingering Damage Magicka
(The magicka drain will wear off after 10 seconds while the paralysis may end up lasting much longer, so consider pairing with a dose of Magebane)
Napalm
* Bleeding Crown + Giant Lichen + Juniper Berries
* Weakness to Poison + Weakness to Fire
(Light 'em up!)
Black Lotus
* Bleeding Crown + Deathbell + Red Mountain Flower
* Weakness to Poison + Damage Health
(Any other poison listed above will be much more effective for the next 30 seconds after this deadly concoction)
My personal favorite is Bounty Collector. Getting those samples planted early in a playthrough can turn even the toughest bandit chief or bear/cat into a dying mess with a single arrow from the darkness. Nothing beats Wizard Trap + Magebane for those master necromancers and elemental mages, though. Now if only poisons would work on those scary master vampires 😦
Alternatively, fast travel to morthal, head east, go into the myrwatch player house from anniversary and go upstairs. On the small farming plot, you can just grab a creep cluster, mora tapinella, and scaly pholiota.
Grab the Staff in the small dome ruins just east or Morthal to get early zombies. Not sure if patched, but the bodies dont turn to ash after they expire. Great early on.
I did this method myself as well and it sure is great. If you have a family living on the farm your spouse opens up a store, so you can sell potions to your spouse. If that spouse happens to be a skill trainer, even better. :)

You get quite some bonuses which are especially practical for Survival Mode gameplay, such as better sleep bonuses with spouse snd children in the house, a steady income (spouse opens up a store) and the home cooked meal that the spouse can make you daily: food is a necessity and the 5 minute long magicka, health and stamina recovery is amazing, especially since It stacks with other regeneration methods (lady stone, or Histskin power if you're an argonian) as in Survival Mode your health no longer regenerate.
You can just take skill training gold back** from any current follower (eg Aela) by trading items with them, rather than having to buy it back from their vendor inventory. Spouses who are trainers but cannot be followers:
* Dravynea the Stoneweaver (Expert Alteration)
* Ghorza gra-Bagol (Common Smithing)
* Balimund (Common Smithing)
* Revyn Sadri (Common Speech)
* Scouts-Many-Marshes (Common Light Armor)
Ghorza, Balimund, and Scouts are all very solid choices for helping reduce the skill grind.😊

Been doin' this since Hearthfire, just on a smaller scale.
Well, I haven't done this in a while at all but I used to. I don't power-level or grind at all anymore. Found unobtrusive methods for leveling the crafting skills as I go;
I still farm potions in my Hearthfire houses but only potions I'll use as I go. Fortify are absolute godsends when they're regularly available and all 5 can be farmed if you get Windstadt Manor.
For enchanting, simply making regular use of magic weapons, particularly staves, goes a long way on its own since every recharge is more enchanting XP.
Smithing is, unsurprisingly, the most obnoxious but by buying the appropriate raw materials and enhancing the weapons and armor you loot from enemies before you sell them, you make steady progress. If you've got soulgems to spare, you can enchant them too but I find you rarely have gems to spare.

Smithing is pretty easy. Just make Iron Daggers until you hit Smithing 30, get the Dwarven Smithing perk then go clear a Dwarven ruin. (The one inside Markarth is great.)
Just grab as much smeltable Dwarven struts and whatever, melt them down at a Smelter, then start making Dwarven bows. Once you've got enough (say 40-50), you can then get a decent Smithing boost simply by improving the bows over and over.
@@Griezz Nails are cheaper to make for only slightly less xp if you're gonna do the hard grind that way.
I'll stick to my method. It's not fast but it's steady and does very little to take me away from dungeon-crawling. It's just obnoxious in that it *is* slow and doesn't start to turn profitable for a fair while.

All ya need is to reduce difficulty to Novice and Pulse fire the Flame spell from both hands simultaneously without the dual casting perk - so long as you hit em whilst they're on fire..
Bow of Shadows + flame arrows works good too...can store and redraw the bow to go invisible between shots

The Barrels in Goldenhills' basement are not safe for storage. I was away from the location for a few weeks and the content of the two Barrels on the left of the basement got completely respawned. Those on the right seemed find though.
What is that with those CC houses? First Myrwarch inventory got bugged and now this one.
All of the player homes in the Creation Club are incredibly sloppy work. The weapon mounts and other displays often bug out, several containers (like those two barrels) aren't tagged as non-respawning, and some of the houses don't register properly as homes for children/pets. Trying to move family into the home can also get them permanently stuck in place or even make them permanently vanish from the world. 😔
NOTE: the barrels outside the secret Alchemy area in Goldenhills Plantation's basement are NOT "safe". However, once the house is fully fitted, the chests, reagent bag and the barrel in the Alchemy area ARE safe, as are the cabinets and chests in the upper bedroom area.

It sucks when the farm plots bug on ya, mine would not grow the creep clusters at all, tried many things and could never get them to grow. ended up gathering those elsewhere to make a decent portion my my gold.

Yeaaaaaaah as if any merchant will have anywhere near the cash to buy more than one by the time Alchemy is maxed. You want fast cash via irl time, do blisterwart, haggling for everything in a merchant's inventory them selling him the potions takes forever and leaves you with an inventory mess, or the slap and reload trick adds up in time.

Thieves' guild fences go up to 4k if you do all the guild special missions and 5k if you pick up the master trader speech perk. They can buy a couple each unless you take all 5 levels in haggling.
You want a pot nobody can buy for full price: salmon roe + nord barnacle + garlic (which sounds like a tasty thing to consume in a different configuration). Made one worth over 11k once upon a time.

I can do infinite gold in vanilla _Skyrim..._ just do woodcutting and sell to Hod in Riverwood, or any of the hold capital innkeepers... probably takes longer, though.
I think it was kryptopyr's "Complete Crafting Overhaul" that made Woodchoping Blocks the same as Clay-/Stone-Deposits where you can do them infinetly until you manually tell you Charakter to stop. This way you can woodchop outside the bannered mare in Whiterun and go to sleep or buy groceries or something and then sell all those 100s of Firewood xD

There's no chopping animation in the VR version of the game so you can just spam away. You can get over 10k in around 10 minutes
Just do the fortify restoration loop and you'll have 100 alchemy/enchanting/smithing in like 30min. On top of more money than you can even get(each potion is worth like millions).
If you have the solsthiem or what ever dlc you can dupe these amulets and this guy will buy each one for 500, he has infinite money too

If you have mods enabled that change skyrims landscape at all they could be effecting it. Disable them and try again

I made 500,000 gold by selling 2000 SAP potions to ysolda using the duplication glich. I wish there was ingredients to make the SAP potions so I can grow plants from it to work it passive and not depending on the glitch cuz is time consuming.

Chop wood 🪵🪓,make hinges,nails,locks ect at white run and find straw from vendors and get stone easiest unlimited from the farm down East of vampire hold ( can't remember how to spell town) there's a table in front of your plantation to make everything so your steward will fill with animals and hire help
Sawn logs are used for Hearthfire manors only. Goldenhills uses firewood which you chop for free at any of Skyrim's ubiquitous wood chopping blocks.

No one with probably read this but i have a problem with this method (ps5 version). None of the vendors have enough money i mean im not waiting ages to make money. So what if you have a stewardess and just growing and collecting profits from them?
save, hit the merchant, and then load. They will be restocked with items and gold.
Eventually, with high enough (enchantment boosted) Alchemy and high enough Speech/Barter, there will be potions worth more than any merchant in the game can afford to pay, even with full Speech perks to increase their available gold. But by then, you should be absolutely loaded and should only care if you're throwing loads of money at vendor trainers to grind high level skills.

reset the game and shut restarted my xbox and such and was not fixed had to load a save at the start when getting out so i lost 8 levels that i did legit and not glitches or anything
it doesn't give you map markers for most of it. also if you take the kid's wooden sword before that part you break the quest. if you do it like he did in the video it should be fine.

You can though. Just not all of the food items. Skyrim's climate is all wrong for tomatoes, so you can't plant them, but potato, cabbage, leeks, and a few others are all game.

It's a shame that apples and tomatoes (and many alchemy ingredient plants) can't be farmed, but there have been mods for that (for Hearthfire) for ages. They should presumably work with Goldenhills, since it just uses the Hearthfire fertile soil objects.
Update: I have used several mods that add more plantables, and even tweaked some of them. Since they really mostly on FormLists and could theoretically just use the regular wildlife flora models, I imagine you could get mods for them on some console platforms. They might have to get a bit creative to do tomato vines or garlic or whatever, but I dunno what's possible in PS5 modding regarding creation of models using existing assets.

These potions suck the nordic barnacle potions are worth about 1600 and they come with roughly 6 effects I think it is but the recipe was barnacle dwarven oil and salt or barnacle salt and spriggan sap it was. Plenty of free ingredients jus goin bak n forth fast travel to college from markarth or from run by whites aka white run which has the same definition based on anglo saxon word mechanics (wyrd for the educated who know of the wyrd sisters aka weird sisters aka the reason all bad things happen in three) used by “english speakers” aka angleish speakers bcuz of free masons and their infinite angle based philosophy. They use a right angle which is a thing and also an actual lesson bcuz anything can be conquered using the right angle of attack. They play on wyrds all the time and have different meanings besides wut u think for everything. They have their own language within languages and its actually fascinating as fuk to really sit n think about the blatant connection between this specific game and reality.

I don't know why over half your comment was irrelevant ranting about linguistics, but the point of making potions with plantable ingredients is the ability to make them in bulk. It takes a long time to gather 100 barnacles, and then they won't be back for 10+ in-game days and you have to avoid all those areas out to a pretty sizable distance for fear of resetting the 10-30 day respawn timer for that cell. Meanwhile, one can grow 44-176 of any planter crop in 24 hours, not including extra pantry yield.
That’s the longest shittiest way to have to make a bunch of money.
Why the hell would anybody want that?! In a game that already throws way too much money at the player? Install Trade and Barter, Scarcity - Less Loot Mod, Gold Adjustment etc. instead, if you want a good gaming experience!
