    Please do more wonderful videos on other Qu-Bit modules. You explain their stuff much better than they can.

    I read somewhere that there is a voltage drop on this module that prevents it from being used with direct v/oct signals. Here you have the quantizer after the synapse, so it wouldn’t matter. Has anyone ever used this with multiple v/ oct signals directly going into the Synapse inputs then out to different oscillators? So that you could use it to switch the pre quantized melodys to different modules

    I have to say this video kicked butt on all levels. You’re a great teacher. The patches, for a relative newbie are complex, but you simplified them to where I could understand things. Sign of a great teacher making the complex simple. The module is really cool. Your patches are awesome. I particularly like the melody patch. I’m going to have to give this module a serious look. I hate to be a whiner, but the size is bit of an issue. The video production was excellent. A big thank you!

    Holy! I just spent all last weekend messing with this module trying to figure out how to get the most of it. This video is so needed since there is really so little out there on this module. Thanks for doing this!

    Good to hear from you again : ) When looking at that Synaps module It makes me think that it is sort of the opposite of a mixer.. Now that I've watched the whole video I get why this module is so big and rather pricey for being a switch.

    I’ve just been looking into sequential switches so this is timely. Was headed toward WMD or Erica, but this looks really good. I like the fading between inputs as well.

      Maybe not exactly what you're looking for but the ALM Boss Bow Tie is lovely

      Madame l'agent possibly. I think they can both be useful in different ways. I think I like the Mystic Circuits Tree better than the Boss Bow Tie though.

    Hello. An interesting module and it seems to be used for different functions. Not only as a sophisticated switches, but too as a set of VCAs, and maybe some other utilities. It may be written into a future purchase.

    Thanks for this video, just coming across it. Your first example of crossfading melodies, why are you only using A and D outputs of o_C, but you have all four inputs patched?

    • @WhiteNoises
      @WhiteNoises  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Honestly, can't remember 😅 Probably was trying out four different melodies and liked A and D the best.

    Hey Greg, again this is an amazing tutorial video and really easy to follow along. However, I was wondering if maybe you could provide some patch notes for those of us who are still learning and want to learn by recreating. Specifically, could you post what the settings were on PNW that you used to create the melodies? Are you using a random wave from PNW and then using the loop? If so, how do you make a copy of that for the transposed pattern? Also, how are you transposing the melodies? - I am guessing using the level setting in PNW? Finally what the heck is Pulsar doing in the "Crossfading Melodies" patch?!? ;)
    Sorry for so many questions but I really dig this patch and I am trying to deconstruct it and figure it out (unfortunately I don't have a quad quantizer yet so...)

    • @ScottLHines
      @ScottLHines 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Agreed what is Pulsar doing? Euclidean? Just a straight clock? Four different clocks. Enquiring minds want to know!

    • @kbowman0016
      @kbowman0016 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ScottLHines - Hey Scott, Greg got back to me via email and said that Pulsar is four different patterns that are used to trigger the four quantizers in o_C. I hope that helps.
