Some notes about the game: I actually enjoyed this game quite a bit though it's far from polished...and it's admittedly quite ridiculous! The PC port is very bare-bones. The game runs fine but there are no graphics/video options besides resolution. The mouse sensitivity is extremely high and even on lowest settings it's difficult to aim during on-foot sections making the gunplay feel very awkward. However, there's some good fun to be had with the vehicle combat, hijacking and drive-by shooting mechanics! Being set in Barcelona is also a nice change of scene. An enjoyably silly B-movie game but lacking for 2009 standards.

Especially since about 65% of the game, he never speaks outside of cutscenes. And it makes me feel in that during around the mission “Defeat Felipe” we’re more focused and polished missions, as there was both normal and Vin Diesel Dialogue within the mission. But don’t get me wrong. This game doesn’t have any “bad missions” in terms of execution (though they have “bad missions” as in how difficult they can be, but that’s what makes those missions so much fun for me and standing out in the game) The game sorta has a perfecto difficulty curve, it’s nice and easy at the start, for the missions Frantic > Introducing Benito Where the game teaches you the basics of the mechanics such as airjacking, vehicle melee, shooting etc. Miguel’s Sting > The Big Distraction is where the game starts to slowly increase the difficulty, was fairly hard for me when I was younger (specifically “Stand and Deliver”) but they weren’t ballsy hard. Pick of Destiny was when the game really started showing some difficulty curves, especially when you had to chase down Che, really what made the entire mission so much fun, and from that point on in the game, it started to get noticeably harder, especially with the A.I as you would see them be more aggressive and speedy compared to previous missions, and I enjoyed the late part of the game (Following a Wheelman > Get Gallo)
Maybe because of his obsession of car culture in movies and adding it to a video game. People wanted to see something more different which he had done later.

These older games from the Xbox 360-PS3 era had a certain charm and “magic” that most new games nowadays don’t have. Even those that weren’t great games, like this one. It could be related to the fact that developers back then seemed a lot more passionate and cared a lot more about gamers. Nowadays it’s just greedy corporations looking to make money. I really miss the golden age of video games.

Honestly when I played this game my only real complaint was the gun combat didn’t feel smooth but i thought the vehicle combat was really fun wish I could play through it again

It’s the train arrival / departure sound. You’d be surprised how identical this sound is to the one in my home town. Cause every time me and my girlfriend take the train to go someplace far, the train we take makes a really loud horn noise, which again is VERY identical to this one.
Same, so many great games were cancelled when they closed. A sequel to Stranglehold, a crime game called "Necessary Force" and another called "This is Vegas".
Love this game. Unfortunately Lumi Vega reminds me of that crazy chica Catalina from GTA San Andreas. Similar voice and attitude. Very, very, annoying. Wouldn't be surprised if it was the same voice actor.
I find it irritating that u can’t hit or run over pedestrians or swim in this game like the hell man 😠 but I can’t argue this game was my childhood I like driving In the water and luring cops in the water with me
