MrBeast..really? Would you starve if gold panning was your job? Et tu Dan Hurd? 😂

I had to make this video just to talk about the video from MrBeast where he says that gold panning will earn two cents a day. Now amazingly Dan Hurd is in this video and he doesn’t say ‘well, we need to go somewhere else’. So what gives?  I think Dan just did the gold prospecting world a favor by letting all of MrBeast subscribers believe that it is a worthless venture. But what do you think?

I watched that video, but I could not make it all the way through his videos have gone from interesting to feeling forced. I know he is the number one TH-camr and oh my gosh you’re not supposed to talk bad about him. He is a great guy I just think that his video quality and his 24 different channelslack the substance that they used to. His philanthropy was great and is still, however, at this point he’s more of a TV and movie star than a TH-camr that episode seemed like something they would put on discovery channel. I’ve also been gold painting, quite a bit without a metal detector even just digging holes in Colorado and we’ve came home with close to an ounce on one of our outings. The way he portrayed gold panning was a bunch of pranksters trying to make a video it was not anywhere near what you would really do if you were running a true sluice box and working with pay dirt in an area that has a known gold vein in it. I just think that he was trying to grab attention with his videos, which he always does so bye using his theory of making TH-cam videos, the title, and the thumbnail matching exactly what you see as soon as you start, the video which has conquered the TH-cam algorithm, gold, which is always thought of as an expensive product, and then made a controversial with a one dollar price. It was all for views and sponsors. He has said himself that the advertisers can even afford to pay him anymore so that is why he has started those other businesses like his chocolate bar company and stuff like that. He’s a good dude that has a big Channel has thousands of employees. He has mastered the TH-cam algorithm and he meticulously edits and his videos. That was done on purpose for reactionary type videos like this he is the master of it.

What??? You literally said your main job isnt gold panning. So what are you coming at mrbeast for?

Because it’s ludicrous to take what essentially is a sample, then say it represents a years income. If you listen you’ll hear me say that I’ve panned more gold than that from a bag of sand from Home Depot. But the good side here is that we still have to the goldfields mostly to ourselves… Thanks for watching!

Dan is not a successful prospector ( hardly finds nuch gold at all ) Dan however, is a successful TH-cam personality, so it makes him appear to be a legit miner , which he is not.
