Thank you so much for taking the time to break this down for us! I used to farm pumpkins in the Forgotten Lands but honestly, I hated how dark it is there, so now I just farm in the Forest in a cleared area instead. Happy to see it doesn't really make too much of a difference!

I've been biome farming since the start. Each biome has a garden area, with a chest, well, and the goofy stall close by. Edit: I also only harvest when I need to make 💵 or for a recipe. And I generally have a stack of each ready in the chests next to each farm. So little maintenance is required.

I never thought it was worth it. I moved to the forest of valor and i plant pumpkins there because it’s near my home. It just never seemed quicker to plant in the forgotten lands so i stopped bothering.

I agree! Pumpkins are the way to go. Big returns for minimal labor.

My opinion - It's not worth it except in rare situations maybe while growing pumpkins yes but still 24 minutes out of 4 hours isn't much

I realized this early I harvest maybe twice a day depending on my schedule, I moved my home up into the forest of valor cuz I thought it was pretty, I put my farm right next to my house, I plant as needed but keep a supply of pumpkins in half the field of 120, My bushes & such are in the plaza, my trees in the meadow, works great for me & I think it looks neat lol. I make good money when I use my harvester person with pumpkins, I have bought out scrooge idk how many times & still make more than I spend lol.

have you seen a image from them devs about set of numbers 8/2, which could be 8 of feb release date for star path. If we go buy what's happen, then they give us a week to cash in any excess star coins. Then a date of feb 8 for release would be right intime for valentine's day which is the 14 of feb which would make the new star path probably valentine's themed stuff this start path could go until March and start again before easter time.

I have been playing Dreamlight Valley for a couple of weeks now, and I have started growing pumpkins in the Peaceful Meadow. I did hear that it is better to grow them in the Forgotten Lands, but I don't really like going there haha. I am glad to know that it doesn't really matter for them!

I find that it is only worth it on crops that take a long time to grow. I've never benefitted from Biome bonus on fast growing crops like Carrots, Wheat, and Lettuce. The player can grow those anywhere. There is no major effect.

It is not a significant amount of time. It is minutes so I do not see any benefit. If it were an hour less at minimum then I could see the benefit but minutes does nothing for pumpkins especially. So I just plant where I want my farm to be.

Everybody says carrots sell for 44 coins but when I want to buy them it cost me 66 coins? I don't understand? Just started playing a few days ago..

If you grow and sell them you'll get 44 coins per carrot
