💥Stephen Gardner Vid HERE: • Millions Are UNPREPARE...
The depression isn’t silent. There are just a lot of deaf people out there.
And blind!
I have to oppose that..they are not deaf, they are more on a spell & brainwashing of tel-a-lie-vision program-mings of the media lapdogs. As long as they are glued watching these lying beings on TV...they'll never wake-up until it already affects them hard.
For Sure
Lol
We got married in 1965. We made $3,800 that year (10 months) and thought we were rich. House rent was $50, gas was .19 a gallon. We drove a 1964 Chevrolet my husband bought new for $3,000. I could buy 2 weeks groceries for right at $30. We had our 1st child in 1966. Drs fee was $175 and my 5 day stay in the hospital at delivery time was $195.
Wow! Thank you for sharing this! I was born in 1963.
Brings back memories
Me also bought our first house in 1971 for $6000 my grandparents came to visit when they went home she told everyone we were rich because we had carpet on our floors
we were just talking about those years yesterday, laughing and crying at the same time. it's OMG time folks, OMG!
Those were the days!!
Back in the depression people didn't have CREDIT available to them. We are in a depression but the economy looks okay because people are spending money they don't have, using credit.
And that only lasts so long……
Spot on!!
Exactly correct, sir.
Exactly
That’s the plan
It’s so weird. Especially with people my age. If the media doesn’t flat out tell them they’re in a depression they won’t believe it.
Even if they told you, there are so many people not living in reality I don't think they would still believe it. I think it's so sad.
It is sad. Especially considering they live off credit cards. They have no idea the pain that’s coming
My parents are like that if its not on tv, they won't believe it .
@@tiffanyisaacson1407 : Compared to the internet, and the information one can glean off of it when it comes to reality, today's antenna TV (which I have) would have us believe it's still the 1960s & all is well.
If you watch your news on TV you are on the wavelength of dis and mis-information. I stopped wstching TV years ago.
My dad bought his first house about 1972 and paid $8k….he made about $8k/year. My parents built a brand new 2000+ sf house in 1977 for $35k…..dad made $38k/year. And yes, they paid really high interest. Mom pointed out that you could not build a new house today, for one working man’s annual salary. I bet you couldn’t build a house for husband/wife working class annual salary today. Our government are crooks! Inflation is a tax.
You Think!
The government figures that just came out said a new homeowner needs an annual salary of $114,000 to buy a house right now based on the current median home prices and interest rates and not paying more than 30% of your salary. So sad.
😢
Where I live you can't buy a house for under $110.00 a square foot.
It's not a silent Depression, I've been whining about it for a while now. Lol.
ALERT!!! Yesterday in Greenville TN my wife and daughter were followed in a girl’s section of a clothing store by 3 middle eastern males (not Hispanic). After several attempts to close distance and surround her, she confronted, then eluded them.
Be armed and aware. Practice your defensive skills!!!!!
Yikes! I'm glad they're ok.
Stay frosty.
Oh my goodness, so glad y'all are okay. 🙏
😮
That's scary. I'm glad she's okay
I learned "fck off or die) in several different languages for just such an occasion.
Dr. John Campbell out of the UK is doing some great research on the excessive death's from the Co Vid. Important info for us all 💥
Merogenomics is now my go-to for the affects of the jabby-jabby.
Yes. I'm subbed to him
I have been watching him for a while now. Is very informative.
Yes I saw that
Thanks for the Info!
We're in a *Spiritual Depression.*
AMEN!
Hallelujah
Totally! 🙏
Amen the truth!
Amen Amen
I was born in 1952
My Husband in 1953
We were married in 1976
We both were earning $7,500 a year
Our house/trailer payment was $110, truck payment $100
Gas was $ .40
I could by a week's worth of groceries for $10
Our Farm had a family milk cow, chix and a few pigs.
Good size vegetable garden
We canned and froze most of our food.
We older now only have chix and extra large garden still can and freeze majority of our food.
Try to educate people on gardening, preserving and bread baking when possible.
People do not understand what is coming.
Lots of Prayers
We do the best we can with what the Lord provides and He will take care of the rest.
Thank you for sharing, I call you my little girl from Tennessee. Hope you don't mind.
Hugs😘
My daddy retired in 1973 from A&P grocery stores during a time of a recession and gas shortages. We made it through because my parents lived through the great depression as young adults. We had a pantry, I have a pantry and my children have a pantry.
Saw a video today of a man buying exactly the same thing he got on receipt from 2 yrs ago. 2yrs ago 81 dollars today 189 dollars
I spent $300 on basic items not even 1/2 cart full.
I was born and raised in West Virginia. It's funny that you mentioned it, but I remember my grandparents and great grandparents saying that they didn't even know the Great Depression was a thing because they had ALWAYS lived that way.
My mom said the same thing
Like!
I don't know when the phrase "Silent" Depression was coined. I only started to hear about it a week or two ago. Some may not have noticed but many people have been deeply affected for years now. But if this were a baseball game, many think we are only in the first or second inning. If we live to see the end of this period, we will give it a new name that is appropriate for it. It will be something like the word "Collapse".
😊
Implosion.
We are in shambles.
Hopefully this will give us a chance to take the Nation in the right direction. I’m just hoping we don’t get conquered during the collapse.
Tatters I tell you, Tatters! 😊
Yes, I do believe we are in a depression, BUT IT ISN’T SILENT!
We feel the touch of reality when we go to the store!
A box of Kodiak pancake mix, (72oz) 4 months ago was $7.98, (still high) then it went to $9.98 three weeks ago. Today at Sam’s club it was $12.92..
Don't buy pancake mix, flour ,egg, milk, vanilla flavoring .
@@lavondacarter7228baking powder too. And a touch of cinnamon!
Please, don't let this comment offend you. I've seen poverty, lack & scarcity...
If the time comes when the Kodiak pancake mix is no longer available at all on the store shelf, the price won't bother you anymore. 😥 😢 😰
Yes learn to cook from scratch!!! It is MUCH CHEAPER!!!
Not everyone has eyes to see and ears to hear. Praying....❤😊
The grace we have been given over the last 10 years has been very grateful, not many have had to rely on go bags, survival gear, bullets. Beans and band aids, but i think that grace is starting to get thin.
I was blessed to find bone in pork sirloin roasts marked 60% off this morning (.79 cents a pound) at Meijer here in SW OH because they had to be sold today. I was planning on canning more soups but just couldn't pass up such a great deal. I will be trimming the fat off and freezing it to make lard later, and then canning the rest of it. I feel such an urgency to get as much canned as possible, as quickly as possible. I just feel like there is not enough of me to go around most days.
Great deal!! 👍
I feel the same way. A little overwhelming, sometimes.
I feel the same, like I need to can most of the meat in my freezer..
@amandaevensonthehappyhippi5110 0:06 this really is my goal right now. I have been trying to make meals that can be heated with any heat source. I did can plain chicken and beef and will still do more. I love soups so I am trying to can those too. So much to do and not enough time it seems. We can soldier on together!
Great deal! One day at a time. I just learned to pressure can, family of 5 *youngest kiddo is 5* & I realized that if power goes out my freezer is toast.
Ive Been hollering since last May that we are in a depression. This government turned us into slaves for them.
We’ve been in the early stages of Depression for about 8 months, my grandparents said the Great Depression kicked into high gear around 1933. And when I sit quietly and think about the stories they would tell us, I recognize we’re in a depression and I not paranoid and not the only one saying it out loud.
Bless you, Patera. Your videos are like having tea with a best friend. We're all in this together. Keep the faith.
Exactly the way I feel, too! 💯❤
I've been saying this for a year. Add to the Depression issue all the illegals who are taxing our coffers.
When they started to let people borrow what they could not pay, through credit cards , home equity , college loans , that was the trap to inflate . Greed will ALWAYS put you in need.
Next time a super pac calls and ask for a donation tell them to ask blackrock for it.
You dont think vanguard owns everything in our societies nowadays?
Or j.p Morgan and vanguard
If I was making $57000 a year, i'd be living high on the hog.
I know your a DG shopper. They are having a 50% off on their clearance items. There are a ton of gardening items on clearance 70%, then an additional 50%, and use your $5 off $25 tomorrow. Shovels $1.80 for example. Seeds are .07 a pack.
They never have any useful clearance items in DG stores where I live.
Depression but Not silent. It's very loud 😮
I think the difference is people today use credit without thinking to fill the gaps. If all consumer credit sources were removed, it would be a very different story. People would be awake.
I agree with you 100%. I feel we have been in a depression for over a year now. I said this because I actually keep a notebook for each month of the year with my monthly basic expenses and they have gone up a lot.
That is a great idea. Thank you
Checked my shoes and boots, think I can get at least another year out of them. Bought my new winter wardrobe, 3 long sleeve thermal tees, turtle neck for church and 2 pair of sweat pants. Fancy! fancy!
We shop estate sales for clothing
Yes...need a big hug 😢. I definitely feel we're in a depression.
@@j7489 So thoughtful. Thank you 🫂
@@j7489 Oh my...I'm 5'2" so I would definitely be enveloped. Thanks again. Scary times!
@@j7489 Definitely trying. I think I was traumatized in elementary school with the civil service duck and cover drills. Prayed none of this would happen in my lifetime or my kids, grandkids, and now great grandkids. Some of them will definitely have a much different life than my generation had growing up and I shudder to think how it will be for them. Thanks for being so kind. 🥺
@@j7489 Thank you 🙏🏻🥹
A hug from me too Nanny Tam. ❤
My family's boat ain't going to sink here. I wont let "them" do it to us. My parents taught me great work ethic. 👏 kudos to my parents. Yep, all that you teach us here Patara, sticks in my brain every video you put out. I appreciate you and your "opinions" ( 😘 ) very much. Being a great student here who is middle age, but always still learning with gratitude.
Keep on keepin' on, girl. Spread the word to the sane people of America, while the other half funds their endless parties with credit cards.
Spend spend & spend, then file bankruptcy! No one's held accountable for any choices they make. Especially the higher ups..
Spot on again, girl! I needed that hug today. Can't let the stress get to us. Pray, prep and exercise, on repeat. Love to all.
My husband and I are in our 50's and we are only netting 30,264 to take care of both of us and 3 dogs and feeding stray cats ❤️❤️
Same here
@jeanstroman thank you for taking care of the stray cats. I'm feeding 9 myself. I tell my husband I'm feeding hungry neighbors! Those strays are our family! We are late 60' s.
Lyndon LaRouche said we've been in a depression since 2008. It's only low interest rates and credit, that has kept the U.S. economy afloat to create the illusion of prosperity.
We're in a silent somethin
I needed that hug. Thank you Patara in more ways than one. 🙏❤️
@j7489 thank you 😊 🙏 💓
I just got a 3% cost of living assessment for a 23% inflation hike. Whoopsie doo!
I was just thinking this yesterday… the world is on fire but everyone just continuing on as if nothing is wrong… it’s so weird. It’s taboo to talk about it. I actually get laughed at and mocked when I do.
I have stopped trying to educate people. It’s a waste of my time!
It is so surreal! We feel the same here…People around us are spending and taking exotic vacations while we are buying medical supplies and nonperishable food.
Matthew 24:38,39 Read
much of this huge increase in costs are related to the cost of government regulations and government overspending
Thank you Patera, you speak the truth. People better have all they need, because when the crap hits the fan there is going to be widespread panic. You don’t want to be out in that kind of scenario. Unfortunately it’s coming. I pray daily.
When turkey wings are 20.00 For 4 small one it's a depression, when a pot roast is 32.00 that's a depression. I see people buying a candy bar with a credit card.,not debit credit.
I know your talking about the economy but that question could also apply to people's state of mind. People are paralysed with it.
My daughter was justbtelling me this last week. So true. We are in a depression
True story. My husband was laid off last week, downsizing.
Prayers for your family
🙏🙏🙏🙏
Your in my prayers.
Praying for your husband, you and your Family
🙏🏻✨🕊️
I've been working hard getting my place hardened to withstand the buffe ting winter winds. Tomorrow is my Sabbath, day of rest,as I really need it. Thank you, as ever for your motivation. This depression is due to be inflationar y,not deflationary like the last one. Gather as many commodities, real stuff, as you can.
Happy Sabbath!
made my first batch of tallow today... getting my depression prepping on.....blessings yall
I canned 6 pints of chicken today and currently have a peck of apples to make sauce.
That's awesome!
Feels like a screaming depression to me. Prices go up every week. The cheapest gas at Costco is 5 dollars a gallon for regular.
My part of Texas is $2.99 gal but we know it won't stay there for too long
Truth
Our Governor in Calif said he was going to start the change of prices gas, food etc and it will spread across the U.S.
They are not for America! They are gradually taking us to communism! Truth
It's about $2.89 where I am in North ATL suburbs.
It's only like 3.00 in indiana Costco!
shrinkflation too..... a half gallon of ice cream is no longer a half gallon
Yes ma’am we are!!
@FOWLERFAMILY FARM---great to see you here too! Hugs and love for your anniversary and cruise.
I'm nearly 66, husband and I were looking to retire.....long term care insurance premiums just jumped $200 PER month! How is anybody supposed to sustain increases like that, much less everything else?!?!
So many will be caught like deer in the headlights because they’re not paying attention to any of the signs. I pray for all to come to awareness and take steps to prepare. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Thanks for the video!! Definitely in a recession moving into/if not in a depression already. I 100% agree.
First time hearing the term silent depression. Sobering numbers! We make below $50,000 a year. We do ok because we raise much of our food and keep outside services to a minimum, no cells, tv, garbage, etc. We are out of debt and pay the card off every month yet it is still tight at times, especially when property taxes and other illegal taxes and licenses are due. Patara has the right ideas.
A few years ago ..I could get an acorn squash for .69 ... today it is 2.99 and much smaller !! 🙃🙃🙃
They wanted $3.88 for one at Aldi. I put it back and went to the farmers market and paid $1.75
Yes we are .. I haven’t watched this video but in the process and yes to the Title
Thank you for your video today. thank you for encouraging us. We must prep on. Blessings to you all ❤
In 1930 the tax rate was 1.5% up to $4,000, then 3% up to $8,000 for individuals.
Here in Ohio, our leaves peaked Oct 14, according to the ODNR. Beautiful leaves!
Yes it’s beautiful. Upper Ohio River Valley here. Blessings to you ❤
And in San Ysidro, Jemez Pueblo and Jemez Springs, NM. The cottonwoods look like yellow flashlights against red rocks.
Malarkey is the word of the year when it applies to what they're trying to sell us about the economy. (I usually use a word that is a bit cruder) I buy groceries by order of importance, because I can't afford everything we need. I have major health issues and that cuts into our budget. I haven't been able to afford tea bags in a month or so...freaking tea bags! I stocked up when I could, but I'm starting to really burn through the little I'd been able to stock. We're in a rental, but I grow what I can. We're working on alternate income ideas, but selling stuff in an area where everyone is in the same boat financially is tough, but we're doing what we can. Praying hard and doing what we can. I think you and that gentleman are right, unfortunately. May God give us strength and help us all.
" You are the last frontier". Absolute truth Patara. Yes we are. Love you Patara xoxo
Agreed! We’re in a whole lot of trouble!!
Just been down planting and watering my garden (Australian spring) and found some donations from last years tomatoes and zucchini to plant.
I try to tell people but they don't want to hear it.
I think we've been in a resection for at least 3 years! I'm a single person, and the cost of my grocery bill is about tripled! I keep thinking to myself, "where are the other two people I'm feeding?" lol Because it's just me. It's insane! Thankfully I own my truck, and property. I think we're going to see more homeless Americans by next year.. Always enjoy watching Patara! Keep on keepin on!!!
Thanks for the virtual hug. God bless all of the Appalachia Homestead family. Yes, they are lying to us on all fronts as our money is wasted again on endless wars. Keep your head up and take joy in the simple things. ❤🙏🏻
I'm self-employed boarding peoples pets when they go on vacation. I had my first caller asking me to keep their dog because they were homeless and living in their car. I expect to get many more calls like this. Our local animal shelter is full and turning away pets.
😢
I'm a elementary school kitchen manager. Over the last few years my cost has overall doubled or more.
However seeing the prices I pay at work VS in the cheapest grocery store around kills me. I do not purchase alot of snacks for my teens. But during the summer with camping, sleepovers, and such I will buy more. It's ridiculous I can pay $14 for a 72ct individual chip at work and want get half that for the price in the grocery store.
I remember my Grandma (born 1914) talking about her Aunt paying her college tuition. It was $600. I think that was for the whole year.
i believe we are in a first stage of a depression it just hasn,t hit us like the 1929 stock market crash yet, but don,t fret its coming
All The Animals Look Happy
I remember reading that John Kennedy said that he learned about the Great Depression when he went to college. His family didn't feel it. I thought that was interesting.
Howdy Patara!! I was really hoping you would post a video tonight 🧡🧡🧡 Lorie 😊
Been waiting all day to see Patara.
My husband is in denial. I prep anyhow. It gets frustrating.
I think we walked right into a depression due to truthful communication and positive advise.
The data U shared, reminds me of the saying "Profit over people" + to paraphrase a 50 year old song " where have all the dollars gone". Ciao.
Hi Patara! Keep on keeping on!
I was at a board meeting for a food bank that was just starting up 6 years ago. There was a discussion of whether we should go ahead or not. We had a small handful of volunteers. I spoke up and said "stop waiting for help from your government because it is not coming." We went ahead and now we service over 4,000 families thru the various programs. Our volunteers have grown to at least 150 people. One of the people in our drive thru line said to me "you know I thought about today what would I do if your organization wasn't here. It was a frightening thought." My answer to anyone who comes thru who is really down and upset that they have to come to a food bank is that "we have to stick together, it is the only way we are going to make it." We are in this together folks whether we like or not. When times are hard is when the courageous stand up and support those that are having a tough time of it. Be one of those courageous people.
You certainly have LOTS of beautiful deer & goats running through your land!
I remember gas was about .75 a gallon in 1976.
1972, it was 50 cents per imperial gallon, (a bit bigger than US gallon) in Canada.
Thank you for the West Virginia shoutout!! We all love us some Patara up here!! 🧡🧡🧡
Yes we are. No need to ask. Losing it all.
The interest on credit cards are through the roof..
I feel very lucky to have found gas in my area (Northeast Ohio) for $2.99/gallon last week. This week, it's been $3.15 - $3.49!
And the fall colors are gorgeous here now, though not at full peak yet!😊
Right now in Ventura, Calif the gas price is $5.30 it came down fri $6.30 !!!
Here in Oregon gas is $4.07 down from $4.59 two weeks ago.
Central NY $3.85.
$ 3.589 WNY
Evening y’all
Yes, WV leaves peaking now, so pretty, my favorite time of year
We've been in a recession for a year and a half at least.
I remembered seeing the little green 1 pound propane cans for $1.99 three years ago. Now I see them for $12.
The coffee I always drink is the Nabob brand. It was $10 or $12 regular price three years ago. Now it's $20 regular price.
Buy bigger propane tanks which have also gone up. About this time of year there is a dip, fewer RVers?, and we filled some up at our Costco.
2 cans for $10 at my Walmart.
Love Stephen Gardner! And Mr Gammon too! I think we all watch the same channels, and I love it❤️
Have peace. Do your best.
The leaves are putting on a beautiful show in WV right now. We're in a depression now. I feel like I'm living in a bubble though, so many have no clue and no urge to get ready.
Thanks PATARA for keeping us updated ❤ 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽God Bless🥰
Sure feels like it! Good thing we prepared 👍🏻
Buy your boards and fence now for next year!
im sure WV is beautiful as well...why yes it is patara ..thank you
Yep, it's heartbreaking to know my sons (mid 20's) are and likely will be worse off than we've had it. Just praying our young men do not have to go fight in some stupid war, designed by rich men. 😪
I wish the News channels would tell the truth, as Patara tells it. I check in with you, instead because you give us way more truth than the News channels. It shouldn’t be that way. Thank you for your videos.
