The wire that runs it could have gotten pinched

Did you ever find a video that explains that cuz I know it's under warranty they're all messed up with their models cuz I have the same problem and I'm doing it myself

Have you found a video cuz I have the 3.5 L but I have the 2008 classic edition yeah all that it's under warranty it's an issue that they all have and I'm just trying to do it myself in hopes I don't have to reprogram it

That through bolt you referred to on the column the last bolt you took out for the column to remove a completely funny I have an 08 Malibu I have the classic LT the 3.5 L and that through bolt does not come out like that my gas pedal has another contraption that I'm not sure exactly what it's called to the point where that bolt hits it you it's sucks to try to get it out if you know any easy way it'd be much help because it's a nightmare. Trying to replace my electric power steering assist and I'm hoping I don't have to have it reprogrammed

Yes, IF your car has adjustable pedals, you will have to unbolt your pedal assembly. It is 3 bolts I do believe to remove that out of your way

You're right. Mine actually didn't have it. Whoops. I appreciate the good info though.
