MT406 Team, Thanks so much for this video. it took me straight to the issue that was the relay. I replaced it, now our 2013 Taurus is running like it always has. The only thing is now we have a yellow wrench icon on our dash. Owner's manual shows this as "Powertrain malfunction/reduced power (RTT)" and tells me to contact my dealer. Please offer any advice you may have. Many Thanks

Hi. Thank you for the video. My daughter car 2018 Niro had some issue. After dealer diagnosed and $180 later I got quoted $3900 CAD to get it fixed. I used 90 degree brass elbow and connected hoses together. After the residue got burnt out all seems to be fine. It doesn’t lose coolant anymore but after few days of driving i got code P0128 coolant temperature below thermostat regulating temperature. The engine seems to be colder all and battery mode not kicking in as often as before. Did anyone else hot same result? Did I make mistake somewhere along the way? Thank you

I did this same fix. Question though: Did anyone have their car throw a PO128 code for Low engine coolant temperature in cold weather? Cold weather just started here and my car is no sending this code.

Just tried it. Now the vent and floor working but not the middle body blowers. Was the opposite before switched out ???? Any thoughts

So I tried your idea! It worked only on HI for 5 seconds! I attempted this several times! Outside air temp fine too So now my check engine light came on now! Has anyone seen the same result?

Thanks for the video. When I saw steering wheel out way, WOW!... I will do this while upgrading stereo. The idea of being unencumbered by steering wheel is appealing to me.

Oil is only great at installation to prevent friction when installing, but after a long ride of kilometers it will eventually dissipate causing a huge pain when removing. That's why I'm switching over to grease. Grease may not be recommended but it has a higher melting point and won't disappear, it won't lose lubrication but also easier to remove and install. I've notice that when I first changed my oil filter it was stuck, the old oil filter was so stuck in which I just hand tightened didn't over tightened it. That's when I did more research about grease.

Thank you for this video. It saved me a lot of money. Instead of using 3/4 hose I was able to use P/N 11600 from NAPA a preformed hose when cut off makes a prefect fit without collapsing.

Does the hole into the block have a plug that needs to be removed before inserting the heater element...or was I seeing things?

There are 4 more plastic clips you can depress to remove the whole thing so you can actually clean it all

Hi Mt, I'm just now trying to replace my dashboard and I'm stuck at 06:29. In my case, It seems like like something is also blocking my glove box on the LEFT side (problem which you didnt have in the video). Am I missing something or is that 2015-2018 focus thing? Mine is 2017

The car is limp but get different po227, I would kick off the check engine and would run like normal then kick back on after while , no it’s stuck on and barely goes , someone said pedal sensor , what do you think boss ?

Hi there! Really thank you! It's 1 week and 200 miles after, i cant see coolant pooring out from exhaust anymore but it got burned through exhaust still😢 white smoke while engine is heating up to 120° and even a white powder on the back

One of the bulbs on my climate control failed. From the research I’ve done it’s my understanding that those bulbs are soldered directly to the board, and fully functional replacements for the entire unit are few and far between. I haven’t seen inside the unit itself, do you know whether or not it’s true you can’t just replace the bulbs?

Now I don't need to get a Orfice Tube Divining Rod .

i m facing same issue in kia niro hybrid 2017 no leaking no misfiring no indication of failure on speed o meter but in the morning in cold weather it creates a white smoke i have to refill coolant every second day and every 40 miles i have to refill whole bottle of coolant to maximum. its great headache

Hi MT 406 Mechanics, I am having the same problem now with my 2000 Dodge Ram 1500, 5.2 L/318 C.I. Since what you have here as replacement parts for the part # 05019015AA, I presume using these will work on my truck also? Thank you! My truck is currently down at my mechanic's shop now and all he has told me is that the part # 05019015AA is not made anymore and has put it on me to maybe locate it somewhere. Thanks,again -Mark
