    Seems like the imagination just runs wild with this fear of judgement (negative evaluation) from others. Imagining others are thinking poorly of you. It's a really strange aspect of social anxiety. For me, it came from family. There really was a lot of judgement and criticism, bitterness, insults and so on, growing up. Some of that continues to this day, many years later.

      This was just the tip of the iceberg! My best resources to get rid of social anxiety you get with my free "7 Secrets to Social Confidence" mini course. You'll receive a 22 min video that's a super powerful tap along video. And then you'll receive a short email each day where I share the best secrets I've discovered in the past 2 decades of social anxiety solutions obsession, and 14 years of working with socially anxious clients. I really put all I have in that, and by the end you'll know how to use tapping to overcome your social anxiety. And, you'll also have heard short interviews from experts I interviewed on my podcast, you've seen video testimonials of former clients, you've tapped along with me and experienced the power of EFT, and you'll really feel hopeful you can and will beat this once and for all. Get it here: bit.ly/socialconfidencenow

    After tapping I actually felt a bit worse. It seems like a ton of anxiety energy is being torn apart and lifted out of the emotional energy centers.

    • @Social-anxiety-solutions
      @Social-anxiety-solutions  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yeah, this can happen sometimes. It's rare, as the vast majority of the time tapping leads to direct relief, but every now and then you can feel TEMPORARILY worse. And it's not a bad thing - though it can be worrisome! The most common cause for feeling worse are that you've shaved off the top layer of an issue. Or, your subconscious doesn't feel safe making the change, and anxiety associated with change is enhanced. There may be a secret payoff to having SA/worrying about being judged. SA can be part of your identity and change might be threatening. And so on. Tapping along a second time may bring more relief, or it may tune you in more to whatever it is that's in the way. Which can then be tapped on.

      Good to hear it is. What we do in our minds is already quite ridiculous. We look for the worst case scenario and believe it's true! When we take that WCS to the next level, we begin to see the ridiculouslness

    I think that tapping allows you to redirect your thoughts to the hit. Like if you have real pain and punch, for example your legs, you stop feeling that pain for maybe a second. You can detach yourself for what you are thinking becouse real sentations have more weight.

    How do I deal with the underlining problem with my judgement of myself

    • @Social-anxiety-solutions
      @Social-anxiety-solutions  2 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Hi Jade,
      Sam here from Team Social Anxiety Solutions.
      I reached out to Seb about your concern. Here's what he said:
      --
      That is something that isn't just done overnight or even in a couple of days or weeks.
      Typically, for most people, this is a big part of the whole social anxiety problem.
      You want to transform that self-judgment into self-acceptance, but that's just an easy thing to say.
      What needs to happen is, you need to uncover what kind of judgments you have towards yourself. These are basically:
      - negative beliefs about yourself
      - ways how you see yourself
      - ideas about how you should be and how you shouldn't be
      - negative emotions about yourself
      - stuck parts of your identity
      - disowned parts of yourself that you're rejecting, criticizing, judging, and more.
      All of that needs to be neutralized, shifted, and addressed. These are parts that need to be integrated and accepted.
      Negative emotions need to be released and need to be shifted, etc.
      That's a quick answer.
      It can be overwhelming to hear all of that, but it is the reality.
      What you're looking at might be 6 sessions of coaching, or 60 sessions of coaching, or 6 months of inner work, or whatever.
      But when you take one little step such as,
      "How am I feeling about myself right now?"
      ...and you work with those negative emotions, you're beginning to make progress.
      Keep taking it bit by bit, step by step.
      ---
      Hope this helps.
      Thanks,
      Sam
